1 A Psalm of David.
1 Salmo de Davi. Do SENHOR é a terra e a sua plenitude; o mundo e aqueles que nele habitam.
2 The earth is the LORD's and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein;
2 Porque ele a fundou sobre os mares, e a estabeleceu sobre as inundações.
3 for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.
3 Quem subirá ao monte do SENHOR? Ou quem ficará em seu santo lugar?
4 Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?
4 Aquele que tem mãos limpas e um coração puro; que não elevou sua alma para a vaidade, nem jurou enganosamente.
5 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully.
5 Ele receberá a bênção do SENHOR, e a justiça do Deus da sua salvação.
6 He will receive blessing from the LORD, and vindication from the God of his salvation.
6 Esta é a geração daqueles que o buscam, que buscam tua face, ó Jacó. Selá.
7 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. [Selah]
7 Levantai as vossas cabeças, ó portões; e levantai, ó portas eternas; e o Rei da glória há de entrar.
8 Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
8 Quem é este Rei da glória? O SENHOR forte e poderoso, o SENHOR poderoso na batalha.
9 Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle!
9 Levantai as vossas cabeças, ó portões, também levantai, ó portas eternas; e o Rei da glória há de entrar.
10 Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in. [ (Psalms 24:11) Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! [Selah] ]
10 Quem é este Rei da glória? O SENHOR dos Exércitos, ele é o Rei da glória. Selá.
