1 A Psalm of David.
1 Salmo de Davi. Cantarei a misericórdia e o juízo; a ti, ó SENHOR, eu cantarei.
2 I will sing of loyalty and of justice; to thee, O LORD, I will sing.
2 Comportar-me-ei sabiamente no caminho perfeito. Oh, quando virás a mim? Andarei em minha casa com um coração perfeito.
3 I will give heed to the way that is blameless. Oh when wilt thou come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house;
3 Não porei coisa maligna diante dos meus olhos. Eu odeio a obra daqueles que se desviam; não me contaminará.
4 I will not set before my eyes anything that is base. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cleave to me.
4 Um coração perverso se apartará de mim; eu não conhecerei a pessoa maligna.
5 Perverseness of heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil.
5 Aquele que calunia o seu próximo secretamente, eu o cortarei; aquele que tem um olhar soberbo e um coração orgulhoso, eu não o suportarei.
6 Him who slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. The man of haughty looks and arrogant heart I will not endure.
6 Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que eles habitem comigo; aquele que anda no caminho perfeito, esse me servirá.
7 I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me.
7 Aquele que lida com engano não habitará dentro da minha casa; o que fala mentiras não permanecerá aos meus olhos.
8 No man who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no man who utters lies shall continue in my presence. [ (Psalms 101:9) Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, cutting off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD. ]
8 Cedo irei destruir todos os ímpios da terra, cortarei todos os ímpios da cidade do SENHOR.
