1 Lo! a day, cometh, pertaining to Yahweh,when apportioned shall be thy spoil in thy midst;
1 Vejam, o dia do Senhor vem, quando no meio de vocês os seus bens serão divididos.
2 Yea I will gather together all the nations unto Jerusalem, to battle, and the city, shall be captured, and the houses, plundered, and, the women, ravished,and half of the city, shall go forth, into exile, but, the remainder of the people, shall not be cut off out of the city.
2 Reunirei todos os povos para lutarem contra Jerusalém; a cidade será conquistada, as casas saqueadas e as mulheres violentadas. Metade da população será levada para o exílio, mas o restante do povo não será tirado da cidade.
3 Then will Yahweh go forth, and fight against those nations,just as he did in the day when he fought, in the day of battle;
3 Depois o Senhor sairá à guerra contra aquelas nações, como ele faz em dia de batalha.
4 Yea his feet, shall stand, in that day, on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives, shall cleave asunder, from the midst thereof, towards the east and towards the west, an exceeding great valley,and half of the mountain, shall give way, toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
4 Naquele dia os seus pés estarão sobre o monte das Oliveiras, a leste de Jerusalém, e o monte se dividirá ao meio, de leste a oeste, por um grande vale, metade do monte será removido para o norte, a outra metade para o sul.
5 Then shall ye flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains, shall reach, very near, Yea, ye shall flee, just as ye fled from before the earthquake, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah,Then, shall arrive, Yahweh my God, All thy holy ones, with thee!
5 Vocês fugirão pelo meu vale entre os montes, pois ele se estenderá até Azel. Fugirão como fugiram do terremoto nos dias de Uzias, rei de Judá. Então o Senhor, o meu Deus, virá com todos os seus santos.
6 And it shall come to pass, in that day,that there shall be no light, the bright stars, shall be withdrawn;
6 Naquele dia não haverá calor nem frio.
7 And it shall be a day by itself, The same, shall be known unto YahwehNot day, nor night,But it shall come to pass, that, at evening time, there shall be light.
7 Será um dia único, no qual não haverá separação entre dia e noite, porque quando chegar a noite ainda estará claro. Um dia que o Senhor conhece.
8 And it shall come to pass, in that day, that there shall go forth living waters out of Jerusalem, half of them unto the sea before, and half of them unto the sea behind, in summer and in winter, shall it he.
8 Naquele dia águas correntes fluirão de Jerusalém, metade delas para o mar do leste e metade para o mar do oeste. Isto acontecerá tanto no verão quanto no inverno.
9 So will Yahweh become king over all the earth,In that day, shall there be one Yahweh, and, his Name, be one.
9 O Senhor será rei de toda a terra. Naquele dia haverá um só Senhor e o seu nome será o único nome.
10 All the land shall turn into a plain, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem,and shall lift herself on high and abide in her own place, from the gate of Benjamin up to the place of the first gate, up to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel up to the wine-presses of the king.
10 A terra toda, de Geba até Rimom, ao sul de Jerusalém, será semelhante à Arabá. Mas Jerusalém será restabelecida e permanecerá em seu lugar, desde a porta de Benjamim até o lugar da primeira porta, até a porta da Esquina, e desde a torre de Hananeel até aos lagares do rei.
11 So shall men dwell therein, and, utter destruction, shall not be any more,but Jerusalem, shall abide, in security.
11 Será habitada; nunca mais será destruída. Jerusalém estará segura.
12 And, this, shall be the plague wherewith Yahweh will plague all the peoples who have made war against Jerusalem,his flesh, shall be made to rot, while he is standing upon his feet, and, his eyes, shall rot in their sockets, and, his tongue, shall rot in their mouth;
12 Esta é a praga com a qual o Senhor castigará todas as nações que lutarem contra Jerusalém: Sua carne apodrecerá enquanto estiverem ainda em pé, seus olhos apodrecerão em suas órbitas e sua língua apodrecerá dentro de suas bocas.
13 And it shall come to pass, in that day, that there shall be a great confusion from Yahweh among them,and they will lay hold every one upon the hand of his neighbour, and his hand, will rise up, against the hand of his neighbour;
13 Naquele dia grande confusão dominará essas nações, causada pelo Senhor. Cada um atacará o que estiver ao seu lado.
14 Moreover also, Judah, will fight with Jerusalem,and the wealth of all the nations round about, shall be gathered together, gold and silver and apparel, in great abundance.
14 Também Judá lutará em Jerusalém. A riqueza de todas as nações vizinhas será recolhida, grandes quantidades de ouro, prata e roupas.
15 And, so, shall be the plague of the horse, the mule, the camel, and the ass, and all the beasts which shall be in those camps,like this plague!
15 A mesma praga cairá sobre cavalos e mulas, camelos e burros, sobre todos os animais daquelas nações.
16 And it shall come to pass, that, as for every one that is left out of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, that they shall come up, from year to year, to bow down to the king, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the festival of booths.
16 Então, os sobreviventes de todas as nações que atacaram Jerusalém subirão ano após ano para adorar o rei, o Senhor dos Exércitos, para celebrar a festa das Cabanas.
17 And it shall come to pass thatwhoso shall not come up out of the families of the earth unto Jerusalem, to bow down to the king, Yahweh of hosts,there shall not, on them, be any rain.
17 Se algum dentre os povos da terra não subir a Jerusalém para adorar o Rei, o Senhor dos Exércitos, não virá para ele a chuva.
18 And, if the family of Egypt shall not come up, and shall not enter in, upon whom there falleth none, then shall smite them the plague wherewith Yahweh, did plague, the nations, because they came not up to celebrate the festival of booths.
18 Se os egípcios não subirem para participar, o Senhor mandará sobre eles a praga com a qual afligirá as nações que se recusarem a ir celebrar a festa das Cabanas.
19 This, shall be the punishment of Egypt,and the punishment of all the nations, when they come not up to celebrate the festival of booths.
19 Sim, essa será a punição do Egito e de todas as nações que não forem celebrar a festa das Cabanas.
20 In that day, shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holy unto Yahweh,and the caldrons in the house of Yahweh shall be like the dashing bowls before the altar.
20 Naquele dia estará inscrito nas sinetas penduradas nos cavalos: "Separado para o Senhor". Os caldeirões do templo do Senhor serão tão sagrados quanto as bacias diante do altar.
21 And every caldron in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be Holy unto Yahweh of hosts,So shall all who are offering sacrifice, come in, and take of them, and boil therein,Neither shall there be a merchant any more in the house of Yahweh of hosts, in that day.
21 Cada panela de Jerusalém e de Judá será separada para o Senhor dos Exércitos, e todos os que vierem sacrificar pegarão panelas e cozinharão nelas. E a partir daquele dia, nunca mais haverá comerciantes no templo do Senhor dos Exércitos.
