1 Yahweh, hath become king, With majesty, is he clothed,Clothed is Yahweh, With strength, hath he girded himself, Surely he hath fixed the world, It shall not be shaken.
1 O Senhor Deus é Rei. Ele está vestido de majestade e coberto de poder. A terra está firme no seu lugar e não pode ser abalada.
2 Established hath been thy throne from of old, From age-past times, thou art.
2 Ó Senhor , o teu trono está firme desde o princípio; tu sempre exististe.
3 The floods have lifted up, O Yahweh, The floods have lifted uptheir voice, The floods have lifted uptheir dashing waves.
3 Ó Senhor Deus, o mar profundo levanta a sua voz, o mar ergue a sua voz e ruge.
4 With the sounds of many waters, Majestic are the breakers of the sea, Majestic on high, is Yahweh.
4 O Senhor reina no céu com poder. A sua força é maior do que a fúria do oceano e mais poderosa do que as ondas do mar.
5 Thy testimonies, are strongly confirmed, To thy house, befitting is holiness, O Yahwehto length of days.
5 As tuas leis , ó Senhor , merecem confiança, e o teu Templo é santo para sempre.
