¹ Hear, O God, my loud cry, Attend unto my prayer:

¹ Ouve, ó Deus, a minha súplica; atende à minha oração.

² From the end of the earth, unto thee do I cry, When my heart fainteth away, Unto a rock that is higher than I, wilt thou lead me.

² Desde os confins da terra clamo por ti, no abatimento do meu coração. Leva-me para a rocha que é alta demais para mim;

³ For thou hast been, A Refuge to me, A Tower of Strength, from the face of the foe.

³ pois tu tens sido o meu refúgio e uma torre forte contra o inimigo.

⁴ I would be a guest in thy tent to the ages, I would seek refuge in the concealment of thy wings. Selah.

⁴ Que eu possa habitar no teu tabernáculo para sempre e abrigar-me no esconderijo das tuas asas.

⁵ For, thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast granted a possession, unto them who revere thy Name.

⁵ Pois ouviste, ó Deus, os meus votos e me deste a herança dos que temem o teu nome.

⁶ Daysunto the days of the king, wilt thou add. His years, as of generation after generation:

⁶ Dias sobre dias acrescentas ao rei; os seus anos duram gerações após gerações.

⁷ Let him retain his seat age-abidingly before God, Appoint that, lovingkindness and faithfulness, my watch over him!

⁷ Que ele permaneça para sempre diante de Deus; concede-lhe que a bondade e a fidelidade o preservem.

⁸ So, will I sing thy Name unto futurity, Paying my vows, day by day.

⁸ Assim, cantarei louvores ao teu nome para sempre, para cumprir, dia após dia, os meus votos.
