¹ O God! by thine own Name, save me, And, by thine own strength, wilt thou vindicate me?

¹ Salva-me, ó Deus, pelo teu nome, e faze-me justiça pelo teu poder.

² O God! Hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth;

² Ó Deus, ouve a minha oração, inclina os teus ouvidos às palavras da minha boca.

³ For, aliens, have risen up against me, And, men of violence, have sought my life, They have not set God before them. Selah.

³ Porque os estranhos se levantam contra mim, e tiranos procuram a minha vida; não têm posto Deus perante os seus olhos. (Selá.)

⁴ Lo! God, is bringing me help, My Lord, is with the upholders of my life;

⁵ Let him turn back the mischief upon mine adversaries, In thy faithfulness, destroy them!

⁵ Ele recompensará com o mal os meus inimigos. Destrói-os na tua verdade.

⁶ With a freewill-offering, will I sacrifice unto thee, I will praise thy Name, O Yahweh, for it is good;

⁶ Eu te oferecerei voluntariamente sacrifícios; louvarei o teu nome, ó Senhor, porque é bom,

⁷ For, out of all distress, hath he rescued me,And, upon my foes, hath, mine own eye, looked.
