1 Praise ye Yah, Praise Yahweh, out of the heavens, Praise him, in the heights;
1 Aleluia! Louvai ao louvai-o nas alturas.
2 Praise him, all his messengers, Praise him, all his host;
2 Louvai-o, todos os seus anjos; louvai-o, todas as suas legiões celestes.
3 Praise him, sun and moon, Praise him, all ye stars of light;
3 Louvai-o, sol e lua; louvai-o, todas as estrelas luzentes.
4 Praise him, O ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens;
4 Louvai-o, céus dos céus e as águas que estão acima do firmamento.
5 Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for, he, commanded, and they were created;
5 Louvem o nome do Senhor , pois mandou ele, e foram criados.
6 So caused he them to stand perpetuallyage-abidingly, A decree, hath he given, and it passeth not beyond.
6 E os estabeleceu para todo o sempre; fixou-lhes uma ordem que não passará.
7 Praise Yahweh, out of the earth, sea monsters, and all resounding deeps;
7 Louvai ao Senhor da terra, monstros marinhos e abismos todos;
8 Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
8 fogo e saraiva, neve e vapor e ventos procelosos que lhe executam a palavra;
9 Ye mountains, and all hills, fruit trees, and all cedars;
9 montes e todos os outeiros, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros;
10 Thou wild-beast, and all ye cattle, crawling creature, and bird of wing;
10 feras e gados, répteis e voláteis;
11 Kings of earth, and all peoples, Rulers, and all judges of earth;
11 reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra;
12 Young men, yea even virgins, elders, and children.
12 rapazes e donzelas, velhos e crianças.
13 Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for lofty is his Name alone, His splendour is over earth and heavens.
13 Louvem o nome do Senhor , porque só o seu nome é excelso; a sua majestade é acima da terra e do céu.
14 Therefore hath he exalted a horn for his people, a praise for all his men of lovingkindness, for the sons of Israela people near him, Praise ye Yah!
14 Ele exalta o poder do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, dos filhos de Israel, povo que lhe é chegado. Aleluia!
