1 Unto Yahweh, in the distress that befell me, I criedand he answered me.
1 Na minha angústia clamei ao SENHOR, e me ouviu.
2 O Yahweh! rescue thou my soulfrom the false lip, from the deceitful tongue.
2 Senhor, livra a minha alma dos lábios mentirosos e da língua enganadora.
3 What shall be given to thee, and what shall be added to thee, thou deceitful tongue?
3 Que te será dado, ou que te será acrescentado, língua enganadora?
4 The arrows of the hero sharpened, with burning coals of broom.
4 Flechas agudas do poderoso, com brasas vivas de zimbro.
5 Woe is me, That I sojourn in Meshek,That I abide near the tents of Kedar!
5 Ai de mim, que peregrino em Meseque, e habito nas tendas de Quedar.
6 Long, hath my soul had her dwelling with him that hateth peace:
6 A minha alma bastante tempo habitou com os que detestam a paz.
7 I, am for peace, and verily I speak, They, are for war!
7 Pacífico sou, mas quando eu falo já eles procuram a guerra.
