1 At that time, Declareth Yahweh, Shall they bring forth, The bones of the kings of Judah, and The bones of his princes, and The bones of the priests, and The bones of the prophets, and The bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Out of their graves,
1 Naquele tempo, diz o SENHOR, eles irão trazer para fora das suas sepulturas os ossos dos reis de Judá, e os ossos de seus príncipes, e os ossos dos sacerdotes, e os ossos dos profetas, e os ossos dos habitantes de Jerusalém.
2 And shall spread them outTo the sun, and To the moon, and To all the host of the heavens, Whom they have loved, And whom they have served, And after whom they have walked, And whom they have sought, And to whom they have bowed themselves down,They shall not be gathered, Neither shall they be buried, As heaps of dung on the face of the ground, shall they be.
2 E, eles os espalharão perante o sol, e a lua, e todo o exército do céu, a quem eles têm amado, e a quem eles têm servido, e após quem eles têm andado, e a quem eles têm buscado, e a quem eles têm adorado. Eles não serão reunidos, nem serão enterrados. Eles serão por esterco sobre a face da terra.
3 Then shall, death, be chosen rather than life, by all the remnant of them that remain, of this wicked family,in all the places, whither I have driven them, Declareth Yahweh of hosts.
3 E morte será escolhida ao invés de vida por todo o remanescente daqueles que sobrarem desta família maligna, que restarem em todos os lugares para onde eu os tenho impelido, diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos.
4 Therefore shalt thou say unto themThus, saith Yahweh, Will men fall and not arise? Will one turn away, and not come back?
4 Além disso tu lhes dirás: Assim diz o SENHOR: Eles cairão e não se levantarão? Desviar-se-ão, e não retornarão?
5 Wherefore hath this people of Jerusalem apostatized with an enduring apostacy,Taken fast hold of deceit, Refused to come back?
5 Por que, pois, se desvia este povo de Jerusalém por uma apostasia perpétua? Eles agarram-se firmemente ao engano, eles recusam-se a retornar.
6 I hearkened and heardNot aright, did they speak,Not a man, repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done! They have every one, turned to their course again, Like a horse sweeping on through the battle.
6 Eu escutei e ouvi, porém eles não falaram corretamente. Nenhum homem arrepende-se de sua perversidade, dizendo: O que eu tenho feito? Cada um atenta para o seu rumo, como o cavalo arroja-se para dentro da batalha.
7 Even the stork in the heavens knoweth her appointed times, And the turtle and the swallow and the crane, observe the season for coming; But my people know not the just sentence of Yahweh.
7 Sim, a cegonha no céu conhece os seus tempos determinados, e a tartaruga, e o grou, e a andorinha observam o tempo de sua vinda, porém o meu povo não conhece o juízo do SENHOR.
8 How can ye say, Wise, are, we, And the law of Yahweh, is with us? But indeed lo! falsely, hath dealt the false pen of the scribes!
8 Como pois dizeis: Nós somos sábios, e a lei do SENHOR está conosco? Eis que certamente em vão fez ele isto, a pena dos escribas é vã.
9 Ashamed are the wise, dismayed and captured! Lo! the word of Yahweh, have they rejected, And, what wisdom, have, they?
9 Os homens sábios estão envergonhados, eles estão consternados e capturados. Eis que rejeitaram a palavra do SENHOR, e que sabedoria há neles?
10 Therefore, will I giveTheir wives to others, Their fields to such as shall take possession of them, For from the least, even unto the greatest, Every one, is, wholly given to extortion: From the prophet even unto the priest, Every one, dealeth, falsely.
10 Portanto darei as suas esposas a outros, e os seus campos para aqueles que os herdarão, pois cada um, desde o menor até o maior é dado à ganância, desde o profeta até o sacerdote, cada um deles comporta-se falsamente.
11 And so they have healed the grievous wound of the daughter of my people, slightly,Saying, Peace! peace! when there was no peace!
11 Porque eles curaram a ferida da filha do meu povo superficialmente, dizendo: Paz, paz, quando não há paz.
12 Were they led to turn pale because an abominable thing, they had done? Nay! they did not, at all turn pale Nay! they did not so much as know how to exhibit shame! Therefore, shall they fall among them who are falling, In the time when they are punished, shall they be overthrown, Saith Yahweh:
12 Estavam pois envergonhados quando cometeram abominação? Não, de modo algum envergonharam-se, nem foram capazes de envergonhar-se. Portanto eles cairão no meio dos que caem. No momento da sua visitação, serão desmoralizados, diz o SENHOR.
13 I will, surely remove, them, declareth Yahweh: There shall be no grapes on the vine Nor figs on the fig-tree, Even the leaf, hath faded, Though I have given them these things, they shall pass away from them.
13 Eu certamente os consumirei, diz o SENHOR. Não haverá uvas na vinha, nem figos na figueira, e a folha irá murchar, e o que eu lhes dei deixarão de existir por causa deles.
14 Why are, well sitting still? Gather yourselves together and let us enter the defenced cities And let us be silent there,For, Yahweh our God, hath put us to silence And made us drink poisoned water, Because we have sinned against Yahweh.
14 Por que nós nos sentamos imóveis? Reuni-vos e entremos nas cidades protegidas e estejamos ali em silêncio, pois o SENHOR nosso Deus nos emudeceu, e nos deu água de fel para beber, porque nós pecamos contra o SENHOR.
15 A waiting For prosperity, but no welfare,For a time of healing, but lo! terror.
15 Nós procuramos paz, porém não chegou bem algum; e o tempo da cura, e eis que nos sobreveio aflição!
16 From Dan, was heard the snorting of his horses At the sound of the neighing of his chargers, the whole land trembled,Yea they came in and did sat up The land and the fulness thereof, The city, and them who were dwelling therein.
16 O resfolegar dos seus cavalos foi ouvido desde Dã. A terra toda tremeu ao som do relinchar dos seus fortes, porque eles chegaram e devoraram a terra, e tudo o que há nela, a cidade e aqueles que habitam nela.
17 For behold me! sending among you serpentsvipers which there is no charming,And they shall fatally bite you declareth Yahweh.
17 Porque, eis que eu enviarei entre vós serpentes e cocatrices, contra as quais não haverá encantamento, e elas vos morderão, diz o SENHOR.
18 When I would have cheered myself against sorrow, Against me, mine own heart sickened:
18 No tempo em que eu me confortaria contra a tristeza, meu coração desfalece em mim.
19 Lo! the voice of the cry for help of the daughter of my people from a land far away, Is, Yahweh, not in Zion? Is, her King, not within her? Why, have they provoked me with their carved images, with their foreign vanities?
19 Eis a voz de choro da filha de meu povo por causa daqueles que habitam em uma região distante. Não está o SENHOR em Sião? Não está o seu rei dentro dela? Por que eles me provocaram a ira com as suas imagens esculpidas, e com estranhas vaidades?
20 The harvest is passed, The fruit-gathering, is ended; And we are not saved!
20 A colheita passou, o verão está terminado, e nós não estamos salvos.
21 For the grievous injury of the daughter of my people, I am grievously injured,I am enshrouded in gloom, Horror, hath seized me:
21 Pela ferida da filha de meu povo estou ferido, estou de luto, o assombro tomou conta de mim.
22 Balsam, is there none, in Gilead? Is there no physician, there? Why hath not appeared the healing of the daughter of my people?
22 Não há bálsamo em Gileade? Não há médico lá? Por que então não se recuperou a saúde da filha do meu povo?
