Ezequiel 6

1 Then came the word of Yahweh. unto me saying,
1 Recebi outra mensagem do S enhor :
2 Son of man, Set thy face against the mountains of Israel, and prophesy unto them;
2 “Filho do homem, volte o rosto para os montes de Israel e profetize contra eles.
3 and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh- To the mountains and to the hills to the hollows and to the valleys,- Behold me! I, am bringing upon you a sword, And I will destroy your high places;
3 Proclame esta mensagem do S enhor Soberano contra os montes de Israel. Assim diz o S enhor Soberano aos montes, às colinas, aos desfiladeiros e aos vales: Estou prestes a trazer guerra sobre vocês e destruir seus santuários idólatras.
4 And your altars shall be laid waste, And your sun-pillars shall be broken in pieces, And I will cause your slain to fall before your manufactured gods;
4 Todos os seus altares serão demolidos, e seus lugares de adoração serão destruídos. Matarei o povo diante de seus ídolos.
5 And I will lay the carcases of the sons of Israel before their manufactured gods, And will scatter your bones round about your altars.
5 Porei os cadáveres dos israelitas diante de seus ídolos e espalharei os ossos ao redor de seus altares.
6 In all your dwelling-places, the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places, shall be made desolate, To the end your altar may be laid waste and become desolate. And your manufactured gods be broken in pieces and cease, And your sun-pillars be cut down, And your handiworks be abolished.
6 Onde quer que vocês vivam, haverá desolação, e destruirei os santuários idólatras. Seus altares serão demolidos, seus ídolos serão despedaçados, seus lugares de adoração serão derrubados e todos os objetos religiosos que vocês fizeram serão destruídos.
7 And the slain shall fall in your midst, So shall ye nod that I a Yahweh.
7 O lugar ficará cheio de cadáveres, e vocês saberão que somente eu sou o S enhor .
8 Yet will I leave a remnant: In that ye shall have such as are escaped of the sword throughout the nations, when ye are scattered throughout the lands.
8 “Deixarei, porém, que alguns do meu povo escapem da destruição, e eles serão espalhados entre as nações do mundo.
9 Then shall they who have escaped of you remember me, among the nations whither they have been carried captive, In that I have broken their adulterous heart, which hath turned aside from me, And their eyes which have adulterously gone after their manufactured gods, So shall they become loathsome in their own sight, for the wicked things which they have done in all their abominations.
9 Então, quando estiverem exilados entre as nações, se lembrarão de mim. Reconhecerão quanto me entristece seu coração infiel e seus olhos lascivos por seus ídolos. Por fim, terão nojo de si mesmos por causa de todos os seus pecados detestáveis.
10 Then shall they know that, I, Yahweh,not in vain, had threatened to bring upon them this calamity.
10 Saberão que somente eu sou o S enhor e que falava sério quando disse que traria sobre eles essa calamidade.
11 Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot and say, Alas! regarding all the wicked abominations of the house of Israel,in that by sword, by famine, and by pestilence, shall they fall:
11 “Assim diz o S enhor Soberano: Batam palmas de horror e batam os pés. Gritem por causa de todos os pecados detestáveis que o povo de Israel cometeu. Agora, morrerão de guerra, fome e doença.
12 He that is far off by pestilence, shall die and He that is near by the sword, shall fall, and He that is left and is besieged by the famine, shall die; Thus will I make an end of mine indignation against them.
12 A doença matará os que estiverem exilados em lugares distantes, a guerra destruirá os que estiverem por perto, e os que sobrarem morrerão de fome. Enfim derramarei toda a minha fúria sobre eles.
13 So shall ye know that I, am Yahweh, In that their slain are in the midst of their manufactured gods, on every side of their altars, Upon every high hl In all the tops of the mountains and Under every green tree and Under every tangled oak, The place where they offered a satisfying odour to all their manufactured gods.
13 Eles saberão que sou o S enhor quando seus mortos estiverem espalhados entre os ídolos e os altares em todas as colinas e montes, debaixo de toda árvore verdejante e de todo carvalho que dá sombra, os lugares onde ofereciam sacrifícios a seus ídolos.
14 Thus will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land a greater waste and devastation than the desert toward Diblah throughout all their dwelling-places,- And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
14 Eu os arrasarei e deixarei suas cidades desoladas, desde o deserto, no sul, até Ribla, no norte. Então saberão que eu sou o S enhor ”.
