1 Then said he unto me, Son of man What thou findest, eat,-eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
1 Além disso, ele me disse: Filho do homem, come o que tu encontrares; come este rolo, e vai falar à casa de Israel.
2 So I opened my mouth,and he caused me to eat this roll.
2 Assim, eu abri a minha boca, e ele me fez comer aquele rolo.
3 Then said he unto me Son of man. Thy belly, cause thou to eat and thy bowels, fl thou with this roll which I am giving unto thee. So I did eat, and it became in my mouth, as honey for sweetness.
3 E disse-me: Filho do homem, dá de comer ao teu ventre, e enche as tuas entranhas com este rolo que eu te dou. Então eu o comi, e era na minha boca como o mel para a doçura.
4 Then said he unto me, Son of man Go get thee unto the house of Israel, and thou shalt speak with my words, unto them.
4 E disse-me: Filho do homem, vai, entra na casa de Israel, e fala com as minhas palavras a eles.
5 For not unto a people deep of lip and heavy of tongue, art thou sent unto the house of Israel:
5 Porque tu não és enviado a um povo de estranha fala ou de língua difícil, mas à casa de Israel;
6 liner unto many peoples deep of lip and heavy of tongue, whose words thou couldst not understand,surely if unto them I had sent thee, they would have hearkened unto thee.
6 nem a muitas pessoas de fala estranha e de dura linguagem, cujas palavras não possas entender. Certamente, se eu te tivesse enviado a eles, teriam te ouvido.
7 But the house of Israel will not be willing to hearken unto thee, for they are not willing to hearken unto me,for all the house of Israel are bold of forehead and hard of heart.
7 Mas a casa de Israel não te ouvirá, porque eles não me ouvirão; pois todos da casa de Israel são impudentes e duros de coração.
8 Lo! I have made thy face bold like as their faces, and thy forehead bold like as their forehead.
8 Eis que, eu tenho feito tua face forte contra as faces deles, e a tua testa forte contra as testas deles.
9 As an adamant harder than flint, have I made thy forehead,thou shalt not fear them neither shalt thou be dismayed at their faces, For a perverse house, they are!
9 Como um diamante mais duro do que a pedra, fiz a tua testa; não os temas, nem te assustes com os seus olhares, embora sejam uma casa rebelde.
10 Then said he unto me, Son of man. All my words which I shall speak unto thee, receive thou into thy heart and in thine ears, hear thou:
10 Além disso, ele me disse: Filho do homem, todas as minhas palavras que eu devo falar a ti, recebe-as no teu coração, e ouve com teus ouvidos.
11 then go get thee unto them of the captivity, unto the cons of thy people, and thou shalt speak unto them and say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear.
11 E vai, chegue-se àqueles do cativeiro, aos filhos do teu povo, e fala a eles, e lhes diga: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS; quer eles ouçam ou deixem de ouvir.
12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the sound of a great rushing, Blessed be the glory of Yahweh. From his place!
12 Então, o Espírito me tomou, e eu ouvi por detrás de mim uma voz de grande correria, dizendo: Bendita seja a glória do SENHOR, desde o seu lugar.
13 Yea the sound of the wings of the living ones, gently touching each other, and the sound of the wheels, along with them, even the sound of a great rushing.
13 Eu ouvi também o barulho das asas das criaturas viventes, que tocavam umas nas outras, e o barulho das rodas defronte delas, e o barulho de grande correria.
14 So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away,and I went bitterly, in the rage of my spirit, but the hand of Yahweh upon me was strong.
14 Então, o Espírito me levantou, e me levou embora; e eu me fui em amargura, no calor do meu espírito; porém a mão do SENHOR era forte sobre mim.
15 Thus came I unto them of the captivity, at Tel-abib. who were dwelling towards he river Chebar and I dwelt where They were dwelling; yea I dwelt there seven days, stunned in their midst,
15 Então, eu vim até aqueles do cativeiro em Tel-Abibe, que habitavam junto ao rio Quebar, e eu me assentei onde eles se sentavam; e permaneci lá atônito entre eles, por sete dias.
16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying
16 E sucedeu, ao fim de sete dias, que a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
17 Son of man, A watchman, have I appointed thee to the house of Israel,and thou shalt hear, at my mouth a message, and shalt warn them from me.
17 Filho do homem: Eu te fiz vigia sobre a casa de Israel; portanto, ouve a palavra da minha boca, e dê-lhes o meu aviso.
18 When I say to the lawless man Thou shalt surely die, and thou hast not given him warning, neither hast spoken to warn the lawless man from his lawless way, to save him- self alive the same lawless man in his iniquity shall die, but his blood, tat thy hand will I require.
18 Quando eu disser ao perverso: Tu certamente morrerás; e tu não o avisares, nem falares para advertir o perverso acerca do seu caminho perverso, para salvar a sua vida, este homem perverso morrerá na sua iniquidade, mas o seu sangue, eu exigirei da tua mão.
19 Whereas when thou hast warned a lawless man, and he hath not turned from his lawlessness and from his lawless way he in his iniquity shall die, but Thou hast delivered thine own soul.
19 Ainda assim, se avisares ao perverso, e ele não se afastar da sua perversidade, e do seu mau caminho, ele morrerá na sua iniquidade, mas tu livraste a tua alma.
20 And when a righteous man hath turned from his righteousness, and committed perversity, and I have suffered a stumbling- block to be laid before him he shall die, though thou hast not warned him, in his sin I shall he die, neither shall be remembered his righteous deeds which he hath done, but his blood, at thy hand will I require;
20 Novamente, quando um homem justo se afastar da sua justiça, e cometer a iniquidade, e eu puser uma pedra de tropeço diante dele, ele morrerá; porque tu não o avisaste, ele morrerá no seu pecado; e suas justiças, que ele tiver praticado, não serão lembradas, mas o seu sangue, eu o requererei da tua mão.
21 whereas when Thou hast warned a righteous man. That a righteous man must not sin and he hath not sinned, he shall surely live in that he took warning, and thou hast delivered thine own soul.
21 Todavia, se tu advertires o homem justo, para que o justo não peque, e ele não pecar, ele certamente viverá, porque ele foi avisado, e tu livraste a tua alma.
22 Then came upon me there the hand of Yahweh,and he said unto me, Arise go forth into the valley, and there, will I speak with thee.
22 E a mão do SENHOR estava ali sobre mim, e ele me disse: Levanta-te, vai adiante para dentro da planície, e lá eu falarei contigo.
23 So I arose and went forth into the valley, and lo! there the glory of Yahweh, standing, like the glory which I saw by the river Chebar,-and I fell upon my face.
23 Então, levantei-me, e fui adiante para dentro da planície, e eis que a glória do SENHOR estava ali, como a glória que eu vi junto ao rio Quebar; e caí sobre a minha face.
24 Then the Spirit entered into me, and caused me to stand upon my feet,and he spake with me and said unto me, Go in shut thyself up, in the midst of thine own house,
24 Então, o Espírito entrou em mim, e me pôs sobre os meus pés, falou comigo, e me disse: Vai, encerra-te dentro da tua casa.
25 And thouO son of man, lo! they have put upon thee bands, and they will bind thee therewith,-.so that thou go not forth in their midst;
25 Mas tu, ó filho do homem, eis que porão faixas sobre ti, e te ligarão com elas; e tu não sairás entre eles.
26 thy tongue also, will I cause to cleave unto the roof of thy mouth, so shalt thou be dumb and not be to them a reprover, For a perverse house, they are!
26 E eu farei com que a tua língua se pegue ao céu da tua boca, para que tu fiques mudo, e não sejas para ele um reprovador; porque eles são uma casa rebelde.
27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh,He that is minded to hear, let him hear, And he that is minded to forbear, let him forbear! For a perverse house, they are!
27 Mas, quando eu falar contigo, abrirei a tua boca, e tu lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Aquele que ouvir, que ouça, e aquele que deixar de ouvir, que deixe; porque eles são uma casa rebelde.
