1 The hand of Yahweh I being upon me, he carried me forth in the spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of a plain,and the same was full of bones;
1 A mão do SENHOR estava sobre mim, e me carregou para fora no Espírito do SENHOR, e me pôs no meio de um vale que estava cheio de ossos,
2 and he caused me to pass near them. round about on every side,and lo! they were very many on the face of the plain, and lo! they were very dry.
2 e me fez passar ao redor deles, e eis que eram muitos no vale aberto; e eis que eles estavam muito secos.
3 Then said he unto me, Son of man. Can these bones I live. And I said, My Lord, Yahweh, thou knowest!
3 E ele me disse: Filho do homem, podem estes ossos viver? E eu respondi: Ó Senhor DEUS, tu sabes.
4 Then said he unto me, Prophesy, over these bones,and thou shalt say unto them, Ye bones so dry! hear ye the word of Yahweh!
4 Novamente ele me disse: Profetiza sobre estes ossos, e dize-lhes: Ó vós, ossos secos, ouvi a palavra do SENHOR.
5 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Unto these bones, Lo! I am about to bring into you spirit, and ye shall live;
5 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS a estes ossos: Eis que eu farei com que o fôlego entre em vós, e vivereis;
6 Yea I will lay upon yousinews, And bring up over you flesh. And cover over youskin, And put in youspirit And ye stall live, Then shall ye know that I, am Yahweh.
6 E eu colocarei tendões sobre vós e farei crescer carne sobre vós, e vos cobrirei com pele, e porei fôlego em vós e vivereis; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.
7 And when I prophesied as I was commanded, then was there a noise, as I prophesied and lo! a rattling, and the bones came near, each bone unto its own bone.
7 Então profetizei como havia sido ordenado, e enquanto eu profetizava houve um ruído, e eis que uma agitação, e os ossos se juntaram, cada osso ao seu osso.
8 And when I looked, then lo! upon them were sinews, and flesh had come up, and there had spread over them skin above, but spirit, was there none within them.
8 E quando eu contemplei, eis que os tendões e a carne vieram sobre eles, e pele os cobriu por cima; mas não havia fôlego neles.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the spirit, Prophesy, Son of man. and thou shalt say unto the spirit. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh- From the four winds, come thou, O spirit, And breathe into these slain That they may live.
9 Então, ele me disse: Profetiza ao vento, profetiza, filho do homem, e dize ao vento: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Vem dos quatro ventos, ó fôlego, e respira sobre estes mortos, para que eles possam viver.
10 And when I prophesied as he commanded me, then came into them the spirit, and they lived and stood upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
10 Então eu profetizei como ele me havia ordenado, e o fôlego veio para dentro deles, e eles viveram, e se levantaram sobre os seus pés, um exército extremamente grande.
11 Then said he unto me, Son of man. These bones, are all the house of Israel, Lo! they are saying. Dried are our bones, and lost is our hope We are quite cut off!
11 Então, ele me disse: Filho do homem, estes ossos são toda a casa de Israel; eis que eles dizem: Nossos ossos se secaram, e nossa esperança está perdida; nós estamos cortados fora por nossas partes.
12 Therefore prophesy and thou shalt say unto them Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo I myself am going to open your graves And will cause you to come up out of your graves. O my people, And will bring you upon the so of Israel.
12 Portanto, profetiza, e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis, ó meu povo, que eu abrirei os vossos túmulos, e vos farei sair dos vossos túmulos, e vos trarei à terra de Israel.
13 So shall ye know that I, am Yahweh, When I open your graves. And cause you to come up out of your graves O my people,
13 E sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR, quando eu tiver aberto vossos túmulos, ó povo meu, e vos trarei de vossas sepulturas,
14 And I will put my spirit within you and ye shall live, And I will settle you upon your own soil, So shall ye know that I, Yahweh have spoken and have performed. Declareth Yahweh.
14 e porei meu Espírito em vós, e vivereis, e eu vos colocarei na vossa própria terra; então sabereis que eu, o SENHOR, disse isto, e o cumpri, diz o SENHOR.
15 And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
15 A palavra do SENHOR veio novamente a mim, dizendo:
16 Thou therefore Son of man Take thee one stick, and write upon it For Judah, and for the sons of Israel his companions, Then take thou another stick, and write upon it For Joseph the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel his companions.
16 Além disso, tu, filho do homem, toma uma vara, e escreve nela: Por Judá e pelos filhos de Israel, seus companheiros. Então, toma outra vara, e escreve nela: Por José, vara de Efraim, e por toda a casa de Israel, seus companheiros;
17 Then bring them nearthe one to the other for thee into one stick,- And they shall become united in thy hand.
17 e junta-os um ao outro em uma só vara, e elas se tornarão uma na tua mão.
18 And when the sons of thy people speak unto thee I. saying,- Wt thou not tell us what these things are to thee?
18 E quando os filhos do teu povo falarem a ti, dizendo: Tu não nos mostrarás o que queres mostrar-nos com estas coisas?
19 speak unto them Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo! I, myself, am going to take the stick of Joseph. which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, And I will place them upon it even upon the stick of Judah. And will make of them one stick, And they shall become one in my hand.
19 Dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu tomarei a vara de José que está na mão de Efraim, e das tribos de Israel, seus companheiros, e as colocarei com ele, com a vara de Judá, e farei delas uma vara, e elas serão uma na minha mão.
20 And the sticks whereon thou shalt write shall remain in thy hand before their eyes.
20 E as varas, em que tu escreveste estará na tua mão diante dos seus olhos.
21 Therefore speak thou unto them Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo! myself am going to take the sons of Israel, from among the nations whither they have gone, And I will gather them from every side, And will bring them in upon their own so;
21 E dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu tomarei os filhos de Israel dentre os pagãos, para onde eles foram, e os juntarei de todo lado, e os trarei para a sua própria terra;
22 And will make of them one nation in the land. among the mountains of Israel, And one king, shall they all have for king, And they shall remain no longer two nations, Nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more.
22 e eu farei deles uma nação na terra sobre os montes de Israel, e um rei será rei para todos eles, e eles não serão mais duas nações, nem devem ser divididos em dois reinos.
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more With their manufactured gods or With their detestable things, or With any of their transgressions,- But I will save them out of all their dwelling- places, wherein they have sinned, And I will cleanse them And they shall become nay people, And I, will become their God.
23 Nem mais se contaminarão com os seus ídolos, nem com suas coisas detestáveis, nem com qualquer uma das suas transgressões; mas eu os livrarei de todas as suas habitações em que pecaram, e os limparei; assim eles serão o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus.
24 And my servant David shall be king over them, And one shepherd, shall they all have, And in my regulations, shall they walk, And my statutes, shall they observe and do them.
24 E Davi, meu servo, será rei sobre eles, e todos eles terão um pastor; eles também andarão nos meus juízos e observarão os meus estatutos, e os cumprirão.
25 And they shall dwell upon the land. which I gave to my servant- to Jacob, Wherein your fathers dwelt, Yea they shall dwell thereupon. They, and their children and their childrens children Unto times age-abiding, And David my servant shall be prince unto them Unto times age-abiding.
25 E habitarão na terra que eu dei a Jacó, meu servo, em que vossos pais habitaram; e habitarão nela, eles e seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos, para sempre, e meu servo Davi será o seu príncipe para sempre.
26 And I will solemnise to them a covenant of prosperity, A covenant age-abiding, shall it be with them, And I will place them. And multiply them, And set my sanctuary in the midst of them. Unto times age-abiding.
26 Além disso, eu farei um pacto de paz com eles; será um pacto perpétuo com eles. E os estabelecerei, e os multiplicarei, e colocarei o meu santuário no meio deles para sempre.
27 And my habitation shall be over them, And I will become their God,- And they, shall become my people,
27 Meu tabernáculo também estará com eles; sim, e eu serei o seu Deus e eles serão o meu povo.
28 So shall the nations know that I, Yahweh, am hallowing Israel,- When my sanctuary is in the midst of them Unto times age-abiding.
28 E os pagãos saberão que eu, o SENHOR, santifico a Israel, quando meu santuário estiver no meio deles para sempre.
