1 When a man taketh a woman, and marrieth her, then shall it be, if she find not favour in his eyes, because he hath found in her some matter of shame, that he shall write her a scroll of divorcement, and put it into her hand, and shall send her forth, out of his house.
1 Quando um homem tomar uma mulher, e a desposar, e acontecer dela não encontrar benevolência aos seus olhos, por ele ter encontrado nela alguma impureza, então ele lhe escreverá uma carta de divórcio, e a entregará na sua mão, e a despedirá de sua casa.
2 And, when she cometh forth out of his house, then may she go her way, and become another mans.
2 E depois que ela tiver partido da casa dele, ela poderá ir e ser a esposa de outro homem.
3 But if the latter husband hate her, and write her a scroll of divorcement and put it into her hand, and send her away out of his house,or, if the latter husband die, who had taken her to him to wife,
3 E se o último marido a odiar, e lhe escrever uma carta de divórcio, e a entregar na sua mão, e a despedir de sua casa; ou se morrer o último marido que a tomou para ser sua esposa,
4 then may her first husband who sent her away not again take her to become his wife after that she hath been defiled, for that were an abomination, before Yahweh,lest thou bring sin upon the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee for an inheritance.
4 o seu primeiro marido, que a despediu, não poderá tomá-la outra vez para ser sua esposa, depois que ela estiver contaminada, porque isso é abominação diante do SENHOR; e não farás com que peque a terra que o SENHOR teu Deus te dá como herança.
5 When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not go forth to war, neither shall he be charged with any business,free, shall he be for his own house one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he hath taken.
5 Quando um homem tomar uma nova esposa, não irá à guerra, nem será encarregado de nenhuma incumbência, mas ficará livre em casa durante um ano, e alegrará a esposa que tomou.
6 No man shall take in pledge a handmill, or an upper millstone,for he would be taking life, in pledge.
6 Nenhum homem tomarás como penhor nenhuma das duas pedras do moinho, nem a de baixo nem a de cima, pois seria como tomar em penhor a vida.
7 When a man is found stealing any person from among his brethren of the sons of Israel, and making merchandise of him, or selling hint, then shall that thief die, so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst.
7 Se um homem for encontrado roubando algum dos seus irmãos, dos filhos de Israel, e comercializá-lo ou vendê-lo, então esse ladrão morrerá, e afastarás o mal do vosso meio.
8 Take heed, in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do,according to all that the priests the Levites shall direct you, as I have commanded them, so shall ye observe to do.
8 Guarda-te da praga da lepra, e observa diligentemente, que faças conforme tudo o que os sacerdotes, os levitas, vos ensinarem; como lhes ordenei, assim cuidareis e fareis.
9 Remember that which Yahweh thy God did to Miriam,by the way, as ye came forth out of Egypt.
9 Lembra-te do que o SENHOR teu Deus fez a Miriã pelo caminho, depois que saístes do Egito.
10 When thou lendest thy neighbour a loan of anything, thou shalt not enter into his house to secure his pledge:
10 Quando emprestares alguma coisa a teu irmão, não entrarás em sua casa para tirar o seu penhor.
11 outside, shalt thou stand, and the man to whom thou art lending, shall bring forth unto thee his pledge outside,
11 Ficarás do lado de fora, e o homem a quem emprestastes te trará o penhor para fora.
12 And, if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep in his pledge:
12 E se o homem for pobre, não dormirás com o seu penhor;
13 thou shalt, restore, to him the pledge at the going in of the sun, so shall he sleep in his own mantle, and bless thee,and, unto thee, shall it be righteous-ness before Yahweh thy God.
13 de qualquer forma, lhe devolverás o penhor quando o sol se pôr, para que ele possa dormir na sua própria veste, e te abençoar; e isso será justiça para ti diante do SENHOR teu Deus.
14 Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy,of thy brethren or of thy sojourners that are in thy land, within thy gates;
14 Não oprimirás um servo contratado, que é pobre e necessitado, quer seja um dos teus irmãos, ou dos teus estrangeiros, que estão na tua terra, dentro das tuas portas;
15 for his day, shalt thou give his hire neither shall the sun, go in upon it, for, poor, he is, and, unto it, is he lifting up his soul,lest he cry out against thee, unto Yahweh, and it be, in thee a sin.
15 no seu dia lhe darás o seu salário, e o sol não se porá sobre ele, porque ele é pobre, e põe o seu coração sobre ele para que ele não clame contra ti ao SENHOR, e para que não haja pecado em ti.
16 Fathers shall not be put to death for sons, nor shall sons, be put to death for fathers,every man, for his own sin, shall he put to death.
16 Os pais não serão mortos pelos filhos, nem os filhos serão mortos pelos pais; cada homem será morto pelo seu próprio pecado.
17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the sojourner the fatherless,neither shalt thou take in pledge the garment of a widow;
17 Não perverterás o juízo do estrangeiro, nem do órfão; nem tomarás a veste de uma viúva como penhor;
18 so shalt thou remember that, a servant, becamest thou in Egypt, and that Yahweh thy God, redeemed thee, from thence,therefore, am I commanding thee to do this thing.
18 mas te lembrarás de que foste servo no Egito, e o SENHOR teu Deus te resgatou de lá; portanto eu te ordeno que faças isso.
19 When thou cuttest down thy harvest in thy field and forgettest a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not turn back to fetch it, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, shall it belong,that Yahweh thy God, may bless thee, in all the Work of thy hands.
19 Quando segares a tua colheita no teu campo, e esqueceres um molho no campo, não voltarás para apanhá-lo; será para o estrangeiro, para o órfão e para a viúva; para que o SENHOR teu Deus possa te abençoar em toda a obra das tuas mãos.
20 When thou beatest thine olive-tree, thou shalt not glean after thee,to the sojourner to the fatherless and to the widow, shall it belong,
20 Quando sacudires a tua oliveira, não voltarás para sacudir outra vez os ramos; será para o estrangeiro, para o órfão e para a viúva.
21 When thou cuttest off the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not go about picking after thee,to the sojourner to the fatherless and to the widow, shall it belong:
21 Quando colheres as uvas de tua vinha, não as colherás outra vez; será para o estrangeiro, para o órfão e para a viúva.
22 so shalt thou remember that a servant, becamest thou in the land of Egypt,therefore, am I commending thee to do this thing.
22 E te lembrarás de que foste um servo na terra do Egito; portanto te ordeno que faças isso.
