1 Neither he that hath been mutilated by crushing, nor he that hath had his privy member cut off, shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
1 Qualquer que tenha os testículos esmagados ou tenha amputado o membro viril, não poderá entrar na assembléia do Senhor.
2 A bastard shall not enter into the convocation of Yahweh,even to the tenth generation, shall none of his enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
2 Quem nasceu de união ilícita não poderá entrar na assembléia do Senhor, como também os seus descendentes, até a décima geração.
3 Neither an Ammonite nor a Moabite shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh,even to the tenth generation, shall none that belong to them enter into the convocation of Yahweh, unto times age-abiding:
3 Nenhum amonita ou moabita ou qualquer dos seus descendentes, até a décima geração, poderá entrar na assembléia do Senhor.
4 because they met you not with bread and water, in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt,but hired against thee Balaam son of Beer from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
4 Pois eles não vieram encontrar-se com vocês com pão e água no caminho, quando vocês saíram do Egito; além disso convocaram Balaão, filho de Beor, para vir de Petor, na Mesopotâmia, para pronunciar maldição contra vocês.
5 Nevertheless, Yahweh thy God consented not to hearken unto Balaam, but Yahweh thy God turned, for thee, the curse into a blessing,because Yahweh thy God loved thee.
5 No entanto, o Senhor, o seu Deus, não atendeu Balaão, e transformou a maldição em bênção para vocês, pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, os ama.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their welfare,all thy days, unto times age-abiding.
6 Não façam um tratado de amizade com eles enquanto vocês viverem.
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite, for thy brother, he is,thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, for a sojourner, becamest thou in his land;
7 Não rejeitem o edomita, pois ele é seu irmão. Também não rejeitem o egípcio, pois vocês viveram como estrangeiros na terra deles.
8 the sons who are born to them, of the third generation, may enter unto them in the convocation of Yahweh.
8 A terceira geração dos filhos deles poderá entrar na assembléia do Senhor.
9 When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then shalt thou beware of everything foul.
9 Quando estiverem acampados, em guerra contra os seus inimigos, mantenham-se afastados de todas as coisas impuras.
10 When there is in thy midst a man who is not clean through a mischance of the night, then shall he go forth unto the outside of the camp, he shall not come into the midst of the camp;
10 Se um de seus homens estiver impuro devido à polução noturna, ele terá que sair do acampamento.
11 but it shall be, when the evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water,and at the going in of the sun, he shall come into the midst of the camp.
11 Mas ao entardecer ele se lavará, e ao pôr-do-sol poderá voltar ao acampamento.
12 And a place aside, shalt thou have, without the camp,whither thou canst go forth abroad;
12 Determinem um local fora do acampamento onde se possa evacuar.
13 and a blade, shalt thou have upon thy staff,so shall it be, that when thou wouldest sit down outside, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which hath passed from thee:
13 Como parte do seu equipamento, tenham algo com que cavar, e quando evacuarem, façam um buraco e cubram as fezes.
14 for, Yahweh thy God, walketh to and fro in the midst of thy camp, to rescue thee, and to deliver up thine enemies before thee, so shall thy camps be holy,and he shall see in thee no shameful thing, that he should turn away from following thee.
14 Pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, anda pelo seu acampamento para protegê-los e entregar-lhes os seus inimigos. O acampamento terá que ser santo, para que ele não veja no meio de vocês alguma coisa desagradável e se afaste de vocês.
15 Thou shalt not deliver up a slave unto his lord,one who maketh his escape unto thee, from his lord:
15 Se um escravo refugiar-se entre vocês, não o entreguem nas mãos do seu senhor.
16 with thee, shall he remain in thy midst, in the place which he shall choose in any of thy gates where it seemeth good to him,thou shalt not oppress him.
16 Deixem-no viver no meio de vocês pelo tempo que ele desejar e em qualquer cidade que ele escolher. Não o oprimam.
17 There shall be no female devotee of the daughters of Israel,neither shall there be, a male devotee, of the sons of Israel.
17 Nenhum israelita, homem ou mulher, poderá tornar-se prostituto cultual.
18 Thou shalt not bring the wages of an unchaste woman, or the hire of a dog, into the house of Yahweh thy God for any vow,for, an abomination unto Yahweh thy God, are they both.
18 Não tragam ao santuário do Senhor, do seu Deus, os ganhos de uma prostituta ou de um prostituto, a fim de pagar algum voto, pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, por ambos têm repugnância.
19 Thou shalt not lend on interest to thy brother, interest of silver, interest of food,interest of any thing that can be lent on interest:
19 Não cobrem juros de um israelita, por dinheiro, alimento, ou qualquer outra coisa que possa render juros.
20 to a foreigner, thou mayest lend on interest, but to thy brother, shalt thou not lend on interest,that Yahweh thy God may bless thee, in everything where-unto thou puttest thy hand, upon the land which thou art entering to possess.
20 Vocês poderão cobrar juros do estrangeiro, mas não do seu irmão israelita, para que o Senhor, o seu Deus, os abençoe em tudo o que vocês fizerem na terra em que estão entrando para dela tomar posse.
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yahweh thy God, thou shalt not delay to make it good,for Yahweh thy God would, require, it of thee, and it should be in thee sin.
21 Se um de vocês fizer um voto ao Senhor, ao seu Deus, não demore a cumpri-lo, pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, certamente lhe pedirá contas, e você será culpado de pecado se não o cumprir.
22 But, if thou refrain from vowing, it shall not be in thee sin.
22 Mas se você não fizer o voto, de nada será culpado.
23 That which goeth forth out of thy lips, thou must observe and do,according as thou didst vow unto Yahweh thy God the free-will, offering of which thou didst speak with thy mouth.
23 Faça tudo para cumprir o que os seus lábios prometeram, pois com a sua própria boca você fez, espontaneamente, o seu voto ao Senhor, ao seu Deus.
24 When thou enterest into the vineyard of thy neighbour, then mayest thou eat grapes at thy pleasure to thy fill,-but into thy vessel, shalt thou put none.
24 Se vocês entrarem na vinha do seu próximo, poderão comer as uvas que desejarem, mas nada poderão levar em sua cesta.
25 When thou enterest the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck off ears with thy hand,but a sickle, shalt thou not wield against the standing corn of thy neighbour.
25 Se entrarem na plantação de trigo do seu próximo, poderão apanhar espigas com as mãos, mas nunca usem foice para ceifar o trigo do seu próximo.
