1 And I saw, and lo! the Lamb, standing upon the mount Zion,and, with him, a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his name and his Fathers name written upon their foreheads.
1 Depois olhei e vi o Cordeiro em pé no monte Sião . Com ele estavam cento e quarenta e quatro mil pessoas que tinham o nome dele e o nome do Pai dele escritos na testa delas.
2 And I heard a sound out of heaven, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of, loud thunders; and, the sound which I heard, was as of harp-singers harping with their harps,
2 Então ouvi uma voz do céu, que parecia o barulho de uma grande cachoeira ou o som de um forte trovão. A voz que ouvi era como a música de harpistas tocando as suas harpas .
3 And they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And, no one, was able to learn the song, save the hundred and forty-four thousand, who had been redeemed from the earth.
3 Os cento e quarenta e quatro mil estavam diante do trono, e dos quatro seres vivos, e dos líderes e cantavam uma nova canção, que somente eles podiam aprender. De toda a humanidade eles eram os únicos que tinham sido comprados por Deus.
4 These, are they, who with women, were not defiled, for they are, virgin. These, are they who follow the Lamb whithersoever he is going. These, were redeemed from mankind, as a firstfruit unto God and the Lamb;
4 Eram os que se conservaram puros porque não haviam tido relações com mulheres . Seguem o Cordeiro aonde ele vai. Entre todos os seres humanos eles foram comprados e foram os primeiros a serem oferecidos a Deus e ao Cordeiro.
5 and, in their mouth, was found no falsehood,faultless, they are.
5 Eles nunca mentiram, nem cometeram nenhuma falta.
6 And I saw another messenger, flying in mid-heaven, having an age-abiding glad-message to announce unto them who are dwelling upon the earth, even unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people,
6 Então vi outro anjo voando muito alto, com uma mensagem eterna do evangelho para anunciar aos povos da terra, a todas as raças, tribos, línguas e nações.
7 saying with a loud voice,Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judging is come; and do homage unto him that made heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.
7 Ele disse com voz forte: —
8 And, another, a second messenger followed, sayingFallen! fallen! is Babylon the great, who, of the wine of the wrath of her lewdness, hath caused all the nations to drink.
8 Um segundo anjo seguiu o primeiro, dizendo: — Caiu! Caiu a grande Babilônia ! Ela embriagou todos os povos, dando-lhes o seu vinho, o vinho forte da sua terrível imoralidade!
9 And, another, a third messenger, followed them, saying with a loud voiceIf anyone doeth homage unto the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark upon his forehead, or upon his hand,
9 Um terceiro anjo seguiu o segundo, dizendo com voz forte: — Aqueles que adorarem o monstro e a sua imagem e receberem o sinal na testa ou na mão
10 he also, shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared, unmixed, in the cup of his anger;and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone, before holy messengers and before the Lamb;
10 beberão o vinho de Deus, o vinho da sua ira , que ele derramou puro na taça do seu furor. Eles serão atormentados no fogo e no enxofre diante dos santos anjos e do Cordeiro.
11 And, the smoke of their torment, unto ages of ages, ascendeth; And they have no rest day or night, who do homage unto the beast and his image, or if anyone receiveth the mark of his name.
11 A fumaça do fogo que os atormenta sobe para todo o sempre. Ali não há alívio, nem de dia nem de noite, para os que adoram o monstro e a sua imagem, nem para qualquer um que tenha o sinal do nome dele.
12 Here, is, the endurance of the saints,they who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
12 Isso exige que o povo de Deus aguente o sofrimento com paciência. Esse povo são aqueles que obedecem aos mandamentos de Deus e são fiéis a Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice out of heaven, sayingWrite! Happy, the dead who, in the Lord, do die, from henceforth. Yea! (saith the Spirit) that they may rest from their toils, for, their works, do follow with them.
13 Então ouvi uma voz do céu, que disse: — Escreva isto: felizes as pessoas que desde agora morrem no serviço do Senhor! — Sim, isso é verdade! — responde o Espírito de Deus. — Elas descansarão do seu duro trabalho porque levarão consigo o resultado dos seus serviços.
14 And I saw, and lo! a white cloud, and, upon the cloud, one sitting like unto a son of man, having, upon his head, a crown of gold, and, in his hand, a sharp sickle.
14 Então olhei e vi uma nuvem branca, na qual estava sentado alguém que parecia um ser humano, com uma coroa de ouro na cabeça e uma foice afiada na mão.
15 And, another messenger, came forth out of the sanctuary, crying out with a loud voice, unto him that was sitting upon the cloudThrust in thy sickle, and reap; because the hour to reap is come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.
15 Outro anjo saiu do templo e gritou bem forte para aquele que estava sentado na nuvem: — Use a sua foice e faça a colheita porque já chegou a hora de colher. A terra está pronta para a colheita!
16 And he that was sitting upon the cloud, thrust in, his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.
16 Depois o que estava sentado na nuvem passou a foice sobre a terra e fez a colheita.
17 And, another messenger, came forth out of the sanctuary that is in heaven,he also, having a sharp sickle.
17 Aí outro anjo saiu do templo que está no céu e ele também tinha uma foice afiada.
18 And, another messenger, came forth out of the altar, who hath authority over the fire,and called out with a loud voice, unto him who had the sharp sickle, sayingThrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; because the grapes thereof are fully ripe.
18 Depois outro anjo, que era o encarregado do fogo, saiu de perto do altar. Com voz forte ele gritou para o anjo que tinha a foice afiada: — Use a foice e corte os cachos de uvas da
19 And the messenger, thrust in, his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast into the great wine-press of the wrath of God.
19 Então o anjo passou a foice sobre a terra, cortou os cachos de uvas da videira e os jogou no tanque da violenta ira de Deus, onde as uvas são pisadas.
20 And the wine-press was trodden outside the city, and there came forth blood out of the wine-press, even unto the bits of the horses, at a distance of a thousand six hundred furlongs.
20 As uvas foram pisadas no tanque que ficava fora da cidade, e o rio de sangue que saiu desse tanque tinha trezentos quilômetros de comprimento por um metro e meio de fundura.
