Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs ARA
1 twenty-five years old, was Jotham when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he in Jerusalem,and, the name of his mother, was Jerushah, daughter of Zadok.
1 Tinha Jotão vinte e cinco anos de idade quando começou a reinar e dezesseis anos reinou em Jerusalém. Era o nome de sua mãe Jerusa, filha de Zadoque.
2 And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that Uzziah his father had done, only he entered not into the temple of Yahweh,though still were the people acting corruptly.
2 Fez o que era reto perante o Senhor , segundo tudo o que fizera Uzias, seu pai, exceto que não entrou no templo do Senhor . E o povo continuava na prática do mal.
3 He, built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh,-and, on the wall of Ophel, built he extensively.
3 Ele edificou a porta de cima da Casa do Senhor e também edificou muitas obras sobre o Muro de Ofel.
4 Cities also, built he, in the hill country of Judah,and, in the thick woods, built he fortresses and towers.
4 Também edificou cidades na região montanhosa de Judá e nos bosques, castelos e torres.
5 He, also made war against the king of the sons of Ammon, and prevailed against them, and the sons of Ammon gave him, during that year, a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and, of barley, ten thousand,this, did the sons of Ammon render him, both in the second year, and the third.
5 Ele também guerreou contra o rei dos filhos de Amom e prevaleceu sobre eles, de modo que os filhos de Amom, naquele ano, lhe deram cem talentos de prata, dez mil coros de trigo e dez mil de cevada; isto lhe trouxeram os filhos de Amom também no segundo e no terceiro ano.
6 So Jotham strengthened himself,for he fixed his ways before Yahweh his God.
6 Assim, Jotão se foi tornando mais poderoso, porque dirigia os seus caminhos segundo a vontade do Senhor , seu Deus.
7 But, the rest of the story of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo! there they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
7 Quanto aos mais atos de Jotão, todas as suas guerras e empreendimentos, eis que tudo está escrito no Livro da História dos Reis de Israel e de Judá.
8 Twenty-five years old, was he when he began to reign,and, sixteen years, reigned he in Jerusalem.
8 Tinha vinte e cinco anos de idade quando começou a reinar e reinou dezesseis anos em Jerusalém.
9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him, in the city of David,and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
9 Descansou Jotão com seus pais, e o sepultaram na Cidade de Davi; e Acaz, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
