1 Now, the sons of Israelas to the number of them, the ancestral chiefsand rulers of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who waited upon the king as to any matter of the courses, who came in and went out month by month, for all the months of the year, in each course, were twenty-four thousand.
1 São estes os filhos de Israel segundo o seu número, os chefes das famílias e os capitães de milhares e de centenas com os seus oficiais, que serviam ao rei em todos os negócios dos turnos que entravam e saíam de mês em mês durante o ano, cada turno de vinte e quatro mil.
2 Over the first course, for the first month, was Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
2 Sobre o primeiro turno do primeiro mês estava Jasobeão, filho de Zabdiel; em seu turno havia vinte e quatro mil.
3 Of the sons of Perez, was the chief for all the rulers of the hosts, for the first month.
3 Era este dos filhos de Perez, chefe de todos os capitães dos exércitos para o primeiro mês.
4 And, over the course for the second month, was Dodai an Ahohite, and, of his course, was Mikloth also a chief ruler,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

5 The ruler of the third host, for the third month, was Benaiah, son of Jehoiada the priesta chief,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
5 O terceiro capitão do exército e o designado para o terceiro mês era Benaia, chefe, filho do sacerdote Joiada; também em seu turno havia vinte e quatro mil.
6 The same Benaiah, was a hero of thirty, and over the thirty,and, over his course, was Ammizabad his son.

7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son, after him,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

8 Of the fifth, for the fifth month, the ruler, was Shamhuth the Izrahite,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh, the Tekoite,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.
11 O oitavo, para o oitavo mês, Sibecai, o husatita, dos zeraítas; também em seu turno havia vinte e quatro mil.
12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel,and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

16 Furthermore, over the tribes of Israel, the chief ruler of the Reubenites, was Eliezer, son of Zichri. Of the Simeonites, Shephatiah, son of Maacah.
16 Sobre as tribos de Israel eram estes: sobre os rubenitas era chefe Eliézer, filho de Zicri; sobre os simeonitas, Sefatias, filho de Maaca;
17 Of Levi, Hashabiah, son of Kemuel. Of Aaron, Zadok.
17 sobre os levitas, Hasabias, filho de Quemuel; sobre os aronitas, Zadoque;
18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David. Of Issachar, Omri, son of Michael.
18 sobre Judá, Eliú, dos irmãos de Davi; sobre Issacar, Onri, filho de Micael;
19 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, son of Obadiah. Of Naphtali, Jeremoth, son of Azriel.
19 sobre Zebulom, Ismaías, filho de Obadias; sobre Naftali, Jerimote, filho de Azriel;
20 Of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah. Of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, son of Pedaiah.
20 sobre os filhos de Efraim, Oseias, filho de Azazias; sobre a meia tribo de Manassés, Joel, filho de Pedaías;
21 Of the half of Manasseh, in Gilead, Iddo, son of Zechariah. Of Benjamin, Jaasiel, son of Abner.
21 sobre a outra meia tribo de Manassés em Gileade, Ido, filho de Zacarias; sobre Benjamim, Jaasiel, filho de Abner;
22 Of Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These, were the rulers of the tribes of Israel.
22 sobre Dã, Azarel, filho de Jeroão; estes eram os chefes das tribos de Israel.
23 But David took not the number of them, from twenty years old, and under,because Yahweh had said, he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.
23 Davi não contou os que eram de vinte anos para baixo, porque o Senhor tinha dito que multiplicaria a Israel como as estrelas do céu.
24 Joab son of Zeruiah, began to number, but finished not, when there arose, on this account, indignation against Israel,neither did the number come up into the account of the chronicles of King David.
24 Joabe, filho de Zeruia, tinha começado a contar o povo, porém não acabou, porquanto viera por isso grande ira sobre Israel; pelo que o número não se registrou na história do rei Davi.
25 And, over the treasuries of the king, was Azmaveth, son of Adiel. And, over the treasuries in the fields, in the cities, in the villages and in the castles, was Jonathan, son of Uzziah;
25 Azmavete, filho de Adiel, estava sobre os tesouros do rei; sobre o que este possuía nos campos, nas cidades, nas aldeias e nos castelos, Jônatas, filho de Uzias.
26 And, over the workers of the field, for the tillage of the ground, was Ezri, son of Chelub.
26 Sobre os lavradores do campo, que cultivavam a terra, Ezri, filho de Quelube.
27 And, over the vineyards, was Shimei, the Ramathite. And, over that which was in the vineyards, for the treasuries of wine, was Zabdi, the Shiphmite.
27 Sobre as vinhas, Simei, o ramatita; porém sobre o que das vides entrava para as adegas, Zabdi, o sifmita.
28 And, over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland, was Baal-hanan the Gederite. And, over the treasuries of oil, was Joash.
28 Sobre os olivais e sicômoros que havia nas campinas, Baal-Hanã, o gederita; porém Joás, sobre os depósitos do azeite.
29 And, over the herds that pastured in Sharon, was Shitrai, the Sharonite. And, over the herds in the vales, Shaphat, son of Adlai.
29 Sobre os gados que pasciam em Sarom, Sitrai, o saronita; porém sobre os gados dos vales, Safate, filho de Adlai.
30 And, over the camels, was Obil, the Ishmaelite. And, over the asses, was Jehdeyahu the Meronothite.
30 Sobre os camelos, Obil, o ismaelita; sobre as jumentas, Jedias, o meronotita.
31 And, over the flocks, was Jaziz, the Hagrite. All these, were rulers over the possessions that belonged to King David.
31 Sobre o gado miúdo, Jaziz, o hagareno; todos estes eram administradores da fazenda do rei Davi.
32 And, Jonathan the relative of David, was a counsellor, a man of understanding and a scribe, was he. And, Jehiel son of Hachmoni, was with the sons of the king.
32 Jônatas, tio de Davi, era do conselho, homem sábio e escriba; Jeiel, filho de Hacmoni, atendia os filhos do rei.
33 And, Ahitophel, was counsellor to the king. And, Hushai the Archite, was the companion of the king.
33 Aitofel era do conselho do rei; Husai, o arquita, amigo do rei.
34 And, after Ahitophel, was Jehoiada son of Benaiahand Abiathar. And, the captain of the kings army, was Joab.
34 A Aitofel sucederam Joiada, filho de Benaia, e Abiatar; Joabe era comandante do exército do rei.
