Ra 'Ra'yo Testamento (OTENT) vs VC
1 Hangue ya hña̱cjʉ gatho núꞌa̱ xá ntsꞌo, ngu ra nthate, ra ñohmi, ra nduste, ra ntꞌetsate, guehya dí xiꞌahʉ ya hingui ꞌyøthʉ.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Njahʉ ngu ꞌnara zi ba̱tsi xi tsʉ ra thuhu dega ꞌba, ne ne da zi ndunthi pa da niña̱, neꞌahʉ dá zʉꞌahʉ ra thuhu de rá noya Ajua̱, pa njabʉ maꞌna da nda̱ngui ri jamfrihʉ,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 ngueꞌa̱ nuꞌahʉ́ ya xcá pa̱tuahʉ rá hñoja̱ꞌi ra Zidada.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Jonihʉ co ra Zidada Jesu núꞌa̱ toꞌo ra mʉdi do bi mɛgui Ajua̱ ja rá nija̱ꞌa̱ núꞌa̱ te, y núꞌa̱ ra nija̱ꞌa̱ go guecjʉ nújʉ stá camfrihʉ. Nja ngu núꞌa̱ ra mʉdi do bi ʉtsa ya ga̱do ne bi føteꞌʉ, njabʉ bi tꞌʉtsa nehe ma Zidadahʉ ra Jesucristo asta bi tho ja ra ponza. Pe ja rá thandi Ajua̱ xi ri muui, ne bi hñutsꞌiꞌa̱ dega mʉdi do.

5 Y nújʉ nehe dí njahʉ ngu ꞌraya do núꞌʉ tꞌetsꞌi ja ra ja̱do pa rí te rá nija̱ Ajua̱, y Ajua̱ go gueꞌa̱ ra ga̱do. Nujʉ go guecjʉ dyá macja̱hʉ majua̱ni ngueꞌa̱ dí pɛphʉꞌa̱. Hangue ma ga umfʉ ma tehʉꞌa̱ ngu ꞌnara hña̱ꞌti, ngueꞌa̱ gueꞌa̱ ri ho Ajua̱ ga umfʉ de rá thuhu ra Zidada Jesucristo.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Ngueꞌa̱ Ajua̱ mi ma̱nga de ra Zidada Jesu ja ra Ma̱ca Tꞌofo, ne ena njaua:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Hangue nújʉ dí camfrihʉ ra Zidada Jesu, dí pa̱hʉ gue xi xá nsunda, pe núꞌʉ toꞌo hingui camfriꞌa̱, hingui pa̱di ua xá nsunda. Ja ra Ma̱ca Tꞌofo ma̱ njaua de ra Zidada Jesucristo, ne ena:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ra Ma̱ca Tꞌofo sigui ma̱ de ra Zidada Jesucristo ne ena:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Pe nujʉ́ go guecjʉ rá hniniguihʉ Ajua̱ xa huancahʉ ne xá ntꞌaxiguihʉ, ne dyá nda̱ gá macja̱hʉ dí pɛphʉ Ajua̱ ra da̱nga nda̱, ne dí ma̱ñhʉ de yá da̱nga ꞌbɛfi núꞌa̱ toꞌo bá tsicjʉ de ja ra ꞌbɛxuui pa ga ꞌbʉhʉ ja rá ma̱ca ñotꞌiꞌa̱, y núꞌá̱ go guesɛ Ajua̱.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ma zi hma̱di cuꞌihʉ, núꞌahʉ gyá nzøhøhʉ de guecua ja ra ximhai, dí xiꞌahʉ gue oxqui beñhʉ ya tsꞌomfeni de ra ximhai, ngueꞌa̱ nuya tsꞌomfeniꞌʉ go gueꞌʉ da za da tsꞌocꞌa ri ꞌraꞌyo tehʉ.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 ꞌYohʉ xá hño ja yá thandi núꞌʉ hingyá gamfri. Núꞌʉ́ ri numaꞌñʉꞌihʉ, ne eñꞌahʉ gue gyá tsꞌoja̱ꞌihʉ, pe nu sta hyanda ri hogaꞌmʉihʉ, neꞌʉ ma da xøcambeni Ajua̱ núꞌa̱ ra paꞌa̱ da tha̱ꞌmba nguɛndaꞌʉ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 ꞌYøtehʉ gatho nuya ja̱ꞌi ha̱ ra tsꞌʉtbi, ngueꞌa̱ guí camfrihʉ ra Zidada. ꞌYøtehʉ nuri da̱nga nda̱hʉ,
13 — ausente —
14 ne gatho nuyá mfatsꞌiꞌa̱ núꞌʉ xa thutsꞌi pa da castiga núꞌʉ hingui øtꞌe xá hño, ha nehe pa da ña̱mahño de núꞌʉ øtꞌe xá hño.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Ajua̱ gueꞌa̱ rá paha gui ꞌyøthʉ gatho núꞌa̱ xá hño, pa njabʉ gui coꞌtuahʉ yá ne núꞌʉ ya ja̱ꞌi ña̱maꞌñʉ de gueꞌahʉ ne hinte yá fa̱di.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Nubyá ya hinguí ꞌbʉhʉ ja rá hmanda ra nda̱xjua ley, pe hingue ngueꞌa̱ ya hinguí ꞌbʉhʉ ja rá hmanda ra nda̱xjua ley ma gui ꞌyøthʉ ya tsꞌocate. Nubyá maꞌna mahyoni gui ꞌyøthʉ ra hño, ngueꞌa̱ gyá ꞌbɛgohʉ de Ajua̱.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Hangue mahyoni gui umfʉ ra tꞌequꞌei gatho ya ja̱ꞌi ngu rí ꞌñepi cada ꞌna de gueꞌʉ, ne xi gui ma̱dihʉ gatho ya cu, ne gui ꞌyohʉ co rá ntsu Ajua̱, ne gui umfʉ ndunthi ra tꞌequꞌei ri da̱nga nda̱hʉ.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Nuꞌbʉ núꞌahʉ guí ꞌbʉhʉ dega ꞌbɛgo, ꞌyøta ri hmuhʉ co ndunthi ra tꞌequꞌei, hingue hønsɛ núꞌʉ ja yá hma̱te ne ya hoja̱ꞌi, nehe núꞌʉ xi ya tsꞌoꞌmʉi.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 ꞌBʉ guí tsɛthʉ gatho ra ntsꞌoꞌmʉi tꞌøꞌtꞌahʉ masque hinte go xcá øthʉ, hønsɛ ngueꞌa̱ xcá camfrihʉ Ajua̱, nuꞌbʉ́ ha̱, guí øthʉ xá hño ja rá thandi Ajua̱.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Pe nuꞌbʉ dra castigaꞌihʉ ngueꞌa̱ guí øthʉ núꞌa̱ hingui ho, ne guí tsɛtathohʉ, xí njabʉ, ¿ha gue da tꞌeꞌtsꞌa ri nsuhʉ? Hina, hinda za. Pe nuꞌbʉ guí sufrihʉ ngueꞌa̱ guí øthʉ ra hño ne gatho guí tsɛtathohʉ, nuꞌbʉ́ ha̱, guí øthʉ xá hño ja rá thandi Ajua̱.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Nuꞌá̱ hinhyaꞌmʉ bi ꞌyøtꞌa ni ꞌnara tsꞌoqui, nixi to bi hyatꞌi.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Ora mi tsꞌaniꞌa̱, nuꞌá̱ himi tha̱di. Ora mi hnaꞌmbabi, nuꞌá̱ himbi nøtꞌe. Nuꞌa̱ mi øtꞌe, hønsɛ mi tsocuatho ja rá ꞌyɛ Ajua̱ ngueꞌa̱ go gueꞌa̱ pa̱di da ꞌyøtꞌa ra tsꞌʉtbi ngu rí ꞌñehe.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Ma Zidadahʉ ra Jesu bi hña̱sca gatho ma tsꞌoquihʉ nuni ja ra pontꞌi habʉ bi duꞌa̱. Bi duꞌa̱ pa bi ꞌuegaguihʉ de ra tsꞌoqui pa da za ga ꞌbʉhʉ xá ntꞌaxi. Núꞌá̱ xi bi thogui ꞌraya da̱nga ʉgui pa go bi hña̱sca ma ʉguihʉ.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Nujʉ́ ndí njahʉ ngu ꞌraya dɛti xqui nxani habʉraza, pe nubyá ya stá yopa penguihʉ co ma hoga Maꞌyohʉ núꞌa̱ toꞌo ri supca ma tehʉ.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
