1 The earth and all it contains the world and those who dwell in it belong to Jehovah.
1 A terra e tudo que nela há são do S enhor ; o mundo e todos os seus habitantes lhe pertencem.
2 For He has ordained it upon the seas and decreed it upon the rivers.
2 Pois sobre os mares ele edificou os alicerces da terra e sobre as profundezas do oceano a estabeleceu.
3 Who will go up to the mountain of Jehovah? Who may stand in His holy place?
3 Quem pode subir o monte do S enhor ? Quem pode permanecer em seu santo lugar?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up turned to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully.
4 Somente os que têm as mãos puras e o coração limpo, que não se entregam aos ídolos e não juram em falso.
5 He will obtain blessing from Jehovah and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
5 Eles receberão a bênção do S enhor e a justiça do Deus de sua salvação.
6 This is the person who seeks him, who searches for the face of the God of Jacob.

7 Lift your heads, you gates. Be lifted up, you ancient doors, so that the king of glory will come in.

8 Who is this king of glory? Jehovah, strong and mighty! Jehovah, powerful in battle!

9 Lift your heads, you gates. Be lifted, you ancient doors, so that the king of glory may come in.

10 Who, then, is this king of glory? Jehovah of Hosts is the king of glory!
