1 It will happen in the last days! The mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established above the top of the mountains. It will be exalted above the hills. Peoples will flow to it.
1 Mas nos últimos dias acontecerá que o monte da casa do SENHOR será estabelecido no cume dos montes, e se elevará sobre os outeiros, e a ele afluirão os povos.
2 Many nations will come. They will say: »Come you people, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths!« For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
2 E irão muitas nações, e dirão: Vinde, e subamos ao monte do Senhor, e à casa do Deus de Jacó, para que nos ensine os seus caminhos, e andemos pelas suas veredas; porque de Sião sairá a lei, e de Jerusalém a palavra do Senhor.
3 He will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations far away. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks! Nation will not lift up sword against nation and they will not learn war any more!
3 E julgará entre muitos povos, e castigará nações poderosas e longínquas, e converterão as suas espadas em pás, e as suas lanças em foices; uma nação não levantará a espada contra outra nação, nem aprenderão mais a guerra.
4 Each man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid! The mouth of Jehovah of Hosts has spoken.
4 Mas assentar-se-á cada um debaixo da sua videira, e debaixo da sua figueira, e não haverá quem os espante, porque a boca do Senhor dos Exércitos o disse.
5 All the nations walk every one in the name of their god. We will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever.
5 Porque todos os povos andam, cada um em nome do seu deus; mas nós andaremos em nome do Senhor nosso Deus, para todo o sempre.
6 »In that day,« said Jehovah, »I will assemble the lame, and I will gather the outcasts, and those I have afflicted.
6 Naquele dia, diz o Senhor, congregarei a que coxeava, e recolherei a que tinha sido expulsa, e a que eu tinha maltratado.
7 »I will make the lame a remnant and the outcast far off a strong nation. Jehovah will reign over them in mount Zion from now on and forever.
7 E da que coxeava farei um remanescente, e da que tinha sido arrojada para longe, uma nação poderosa; e o Senhor reinará sobre eles no monte Sião, desde agora e para sempre.
8 »You, O tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, it will come to you. The former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
8 E a ti, ó torre do rebanho, fortaleza da filha de Sião, a ti virá; sim, a ti virá o primeiro domínio, o reino da filha de Jerusalém.
9 »Why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished? Has pain taken hold of you like a woman in childbirth?
9 E agora, por que fazes tão grande pranto? Não há em ti rei? Pereceu o teu conselheiro? Apoderou-se de ti a dor, como da que está de parto?
10 »Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in childbirth! For now you will go out of the city and dwell in the field. You will go to Babylon where you will be rescued. Jehovah will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
10 Sofre dores, e trabalha, para dar à luz, ó filha de Sião, como a que está de parto, porque agora sairás da cidade, e morarás no campo, e virás até babilônia; ali, porém, serás livrada; ali te remirá o SENHOR da mão de teus inimigos.
11 »Many nations are assembled against you! They say: Let her be defiled, and let us gloat over it.
11 Agora se congregaram muitas nações contra ti, que dizem: Seja profanada, e vejam os nossos olhos o seu desejo sobre Sião.
12 »They do not know Jehovahs thoughts. Neither do they understand his counsel. He has gathered them like the sheaves of cut grain to the threshing floor.
12 Mas não sabem os pensamentos do Senhor, nem entendem o seu conselho; porque as ajuntou como gavelas numa eira.
13 »Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion! I will make your horn like iron and I will make your hoofs like brass. You will pulverize many nations into pieces. I will devote their profit and wealth to Jehovah the Lord of the whole earth.«
13 Levanta-te e trilha, ó filha de Sião; porque eu farei de ferro o teu chifre, e de bronze as tuas unhas; e esmiuçarás a muitos povos, e o seu ganho será consagrado ao Senhor, e os seus bens ao Senhor de toda a terra.
