New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs BKJ
1 This is what Jehovah says: »Go to the palace of the king of Judah, and speak this message there:
1 Assim diz o SENHOR: Desce à casa do rei de Judá, e lá fala esta palavra.
2 »Listen to the word of Jehovah, you officials, you people who come into these gates, and you, king of Judah, the one sitting on David's throne.
2 E dize: Ouvi a palavra do SENHOR, ó rei de Judá, que se assenta sobre o trono de Davi, tu, e teus servos, e teu povo que adentra por estes portões.
3 This is what Jehovah says: »Judge fairly, and do what is right. Rescue those who have been robbed from those who oppress them. Do not mistreat foreigners, orphans, or widows, and do not oppress them. Do not kill innocent people in this place.
3 Assim diz o SENHOR: Vós executai juízo e justiça, e livrai o espoliado da mão do opressor. E não cometais erro, não façais violência para o estrangeiro, ao órfão, nem à viúva, nem derrameis sangue inocente neste lugar.
4 »If you do what I say, then the kings who sit on David's throne will ride through the gates of this palace in chariots and on horses along with their officials and their people.«
4 Porque se vós de fato fizerdes isto, então adentrarão pelos portões desta casa reis que se assentarão sobre o trono de Davi, e serão levados em carruagens e em cavalos, ele, e seus servos, e o seu povo.
5 »But if you do not do what I say, I will take an oath on myself, declares Jehovah, this palace will become a pile of rubble.
5 Mas se vós não ouvirdes estas palavras, eu juro por mim mesmo, diz o SENHOR, que esta casa tornar-se-á uma desolação.
6 »Jehovah says concerning the house of the king of Judah: You are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon. Most assuredly I will make you like a wilderness, like cities that are not inhabited.
6 Porque assim diz o SENHOR à casa do rei de Judá: Tu és para mim Gileade, e a cabeça do Líbano. Contudo, certamente eu farei de ti um deserto, e cidades que não são habitadas.
7 »I will set apart destroyers against you, each with his weapons. They will cut down your choicest cedars and throw them on the fire.
7 E eu prepararei destruidores contra ti, cada um com suas armas. E eles irão pôr abaixo teus cedros escolhidos, e os arremessarão para dentro do fogo.
8 »Many nations will pass by this city. They will say to one another: Why has Jehovah done thus to this great city?
8 E muitas nações passarão por esta cidade, e eles dirão cada um ao seu próximo: Por que razão o SENHOR procedeu deste modo para com esta grande cidade?
9 »They will answer: Because they abandoned the covenant of Jehovah their God and bowed down to other gods and served them.«
9 Então eles responderão: Porque eles abandonaram o pacto do SENHOR, seu Deus, e adoraram outros deuses, e os serviram.
10 »Do not weep for the dead or mourn for him. Weep continually for the one who goes away. For he will never return or see his native land.
10 Não choreis vós pelo morto, nem o lamenteis. Porém chorai profundamente por aquele que sai, pois ele não retornará mais, nem verá o país onde nasceu.
11 »This is what Jehovah says about King Josiah's son Shallum, who succeeded his father as king of Judah and left this place: He will never come back here again.
11 Porque assim diz o SENHOR a respeito de Salum, o filho de Josias, rei de Judá, que reinou em lugar de Josias, seu pai, o qual saiu deste lugar: Ele não retornará mais para cá.
12 »He will die in the place where they led him captive. He will not see this land again.
12 Porém ele morrerá no lugar para onde eles o levaram cativo, e não verá mais esta terra.
13 »Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness and his upper rooms without justice. Woe to him who uses his neighbor's services without pay and does not give him his wages.
13 Ai daquele que edifica sua casa sobre a injustiça e suas câmaras por meio do erro, que usa o trabalho de seu próximo sem salário, e não o paga pelo seu trabalho.
14 »Woe to him who says: I will build myself a roomy house with spacious upper rooms, and cut out its windows. I will panel it with cedar and paint it bright red vermilion.
14 Que diz: Eu edificarei para mim uma casa ampla, e câmaras grandes, e abre para ele janelas, revestidas com cedro e pintadas com vermelhão.
15 Do you become a king because you are competing in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
15 Irás tu reinar, porque te aproximas do cedro? Não comeu e bebeu teu pai, e fez juízo e justiça, e então isto lhe irá bem?
16 He pled the cause of the afflicted and needy. Then it was well. »Is that not what it means to know me?« Says Jehovah.
16 Ele julgou a causa do pobre e do necessitado. Então isto lhe foi favorável. Não é isto me conhecer? diz o SENHOR.
17 »Your eyes and your heart are intent only upon your own dishonest gain. You are shedding innocent blood and on practicing oppression and extortion.«
17 Porém os teus olhos e o teu coração não estão para fazer isto, mas para tua ganância, e para derramar o sangue inocente, e para opressão, e para violência.
18 Therefore Jehovah tells us about Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: »They will not cry for him: Alas, my brother! And, Alas, sister! They will not mourn him: Alas for the master! And, »Alas for his splendor!«
18 Portanto assim diz o SENHOR a respeito de Jeoiaquim, o filho de Josias, rei de Judá. Eles não lamentarão por ele, dizendo: Ai, meu irmão! Ou: Ai, irmã! Eles não lamentarão por ele, dizendo: Ai, senhor! Ou: Ai, sua glória!
19 He will be buried with a donkey's burial. He will be dragged off and thrown out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
19 Ele será enterrado com o enterro de um jumento, arrastado para fora dos portões de Jerusalém.
20 »Go up to Lebanon and cry out! Lift up your voice in Bashan. Cry out also from Abarim, for all your lovers have been crushed.
20 Sobe ao Líbano, e clama; e ergue tua voz em Basã, e clama desde as passagens, pois todos os teus amantes estão destruídos.
21 I spoke to you in your prosperity. But you said: I will not listen! This has been your practice from your youth, that you have not obeyed my voice.
21 Eu falei para ti em tua prosperidade, porém tu disseste: Eu não ouvirei. Esta tem sido a tua conduta desde a tua juventude, pois tu não obedeceste a minha voz.
22 »The wind will sweep away all your shepherds. Your lovers will go into captivity. Then you will surely be ashamed and humiliated because of all your wickedness.
22 O vento devorará todos os teus pastores, e os teus amantes irão para o cativeiro. Certamente então tu serás envergonhada e confundida por toda a tua perversidade.
23 »You who dwell in Lebanon nested in the cedars. How you will groan when pangs come upon you, Pain like a woman in childbirth!«
23 Ó habitante do Líbano, que fazes teu ninho nos cedros, quão graciosa tu serás quando dores vierem sobre ti, como a dor de uma mulher em trabalho de parto!
24 »As I live, says Jehovah, even though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were a signet ring on my right hand, yet I would pull you off.
24 Como eu vivo, diz o SENHOR, mesmo que Conias, o filho de Jeoiaquim, rei de Judá fosse o anel de sinete em minha mão direita, ainda assim eu iria arrancar-te dali.
25 »As I live,« says Jehovah, »I will hand you over to those who want to kill you, those you fear, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and the Babylonians.
25 E eu te darei na mão daqueles que buscam tua vida, e na mão daqueles cuja a face tu temes, na mão de Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, e na mão dos caldeus.
26 »I will throw you and your mother into another land. You were not born there, but you will die there.
26 E eu lançarei a ti, e a tua mãe que a ti deu à luz, em outra região, onde vós não nascestes e lá vós morrereis.
27 »You will want to return to this land, but you will not be allowed to come home.
27 Porém para a terra para qual eles desejam retornar, para lá eles não retornarão.
28 »This Jehoiakin is like a rejected and broken pot that no one wants. Is that why he and his descendants will be thrown out and cast into another land they have never heard of?
28 É este homem Conias um ídolo quebrado desprezado? É ele um vaso o qual não é apreciado? Por que razão são expelidos, ele e a sua semente, e são lançados em uma terra que não conhecem?
29 »O land, land, land! Hear the word of Jehovah.
29 Ó terra, terra, terra, ouvi a palavra do SENHOR.
30 »This is what Jehovah says: Write this about Jehoiakin: »He will be childless. He will not prosper in his lifetime. None of his descendants will succeed him as king. They will not sit on David's throne and rule Judah again.« «
30 Assim diz o SENHOR: Escrevei vós a este homem sem filhos, um homem que não prosperará nos seus dias, porque nenhum homem da sua semente prosperará, assentando-se sobre o trono de Davi, e nem governando em Judá.
