Isaías 43
New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs BKJ
1 Jehovah created Jacob and formed Israel. Jehovah says: »Do not be afraid for I have reclaimed you. I have called you by my name. You are mine.
1 Porém, agora, assim diz o SENHOR que te criou, ó Jacó; e aquele que te formou, ó Israel: Não temas, porque eu te redimi. Eu te chamei pelo teu nome. Tu és meu.
2 »When you go through the sea, I am with you. When you go through rivers, they will not sweep you away. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not harm you.
2 Quando tu passares através das águas, eu estarei contigo. E através dos rios, eles não te submergirão. Quando caminhares através do fogo, tu não serás queimado, nem a chama acenderá sobre ti.
3 »I AM JEHOVAH YOUR GOD, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, YOUR SAVIOR. Egypt is the ransom I exchanged for you. Sudan and Seba are the price I paid for you.
3 Porque eu sou o SENHOR teu Deus, o Santo de Israel, teu Salvador. Eu dei o Egito por teu resgate, a Etiópia e Seba por ti.
4 »I honor you because you are precious to me and I love you. I will exchange others for you. Nations will be the price I pay for your life.
4 Visto que tu foste precioso aos meus olhos, tu tens sido honrado e eu tenho te amado. Portanto, darei homens por ti e povos pela tua vida.
5 »Do not be afraid for I am with you. I will bring your descendants from the east and gather you from the west.
5 Não temas, porque eu estou contigo. Eu trarei a tua semente do Leste e ajuntar-te-ei do Oeste.
6 »I will say to the north, Give them up, and to the south, do not keep them. Bring my sons from far away and my daughters from the ends of the earth.
6 Eu direi ao Norte: Entregue! E ao Sul: Não retenhas! Traze meus filhos de um lugar remoto, e minhas filhas dos confins da terra.
7 »Bring everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.
7 Todo o que é chamado pelo meu nome, eu criei para minha glória, eu o formei; sim, eu o fiz.
8 »Bring the people who are blind but still have eyes, the people who are deaf but still have ears.
8 Traga o povo cego que tem olhos, e os surdos que têm ouvidos.
9 »All nations have gathered together, and people have assembled. Who among them could have revealed this? Who among them could have foretold this to us? They should bring their witnesses to prove that they were right. Let the people hear them. Then they will say: It is the truth.«
9 Que todas as nações sejam reunidas, e que os povos sejam congregados; quem dentre eles pode declarar isto e nos mostrar coisas do passado? Que apresentem suas testemunhas para que possam ser justificados; ou que ouçam, e digam: Isto é verdade.
10 »YOU ARE MY WITNESSES,« DECLARES JEHOVAH! »I have chosen you as my servant so that you can know and believe in me and understand that I am the one who did this. No god was formed before me, and there will be none after me.
10 Vós sois minhas testemunhas, diz o SENHOR, e meu servo a quem eu escolhi, para que possais saber e acreditar em mim e entender que Eu Sou Ele. Antes de mim não houve nenhum Deus formado, nem haverá depois de mim.
11 »I ALONE AM JEHOVAH, AND THERE IS NO SAVIOR BESIDES ME.«
11 Eu, eu sou o SENHOR e fora de mim não há salvador.
12 »I have revealed it to you. I have saved you, and I have announced it to you. There was no foreign god among you. You are my witnesses that I am God, declares Jehovah.
12 Eu declarei, e eu salvei, e eu mostrei, quando não havia nenhum deus estranho entre vós; portanto, vós sois minhas testemunhas, diz o SENHOR, de que eu sou Deus.
13 »From the beginning I was the one who did this. No one can rescue people from my power. When I do something, who can undo it?«
13 Sim, antes que houvesse dia Eu Sou Ele, e não há ninguém que possa livrar da minha mão. Eu irei operar e quem o impedirá?
14 This is what Jehovah, your redeemer, and the Holy One of Israel, says: »For your sake I will send an army to Babylon. I will bring back all the Babylonian refugees in the ships that they take pride in.
14 Assim diz o SENHOR, vosso Redentor, o Santo de Israel; por causa de vós eu enviei a Babilônia e derrubei todos os seus nobres e os caldeus, cujo grito está dentro dos navios.
15 »I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.«
15 Eu sou o SENHOR, vosso Santo, o Criador de Israel, vosso Rei.
16 Jehovah makes a path through the sea and a road through the strong currents.
16 Portanto, assim diz o SENHOR, o qual faz um caminho no mar e uma vereda nas poderosas águas.
17 He leads chariots and horses, an army and reinforcements. »They lie down together and do not get up again. They are extinguished and snuffed out like a wick.« This is what Jehovah says:
17 O qual faz sair a carruagem de guerra e cavalo, o exército e o poder; eles se deitarão juntamente, e não se levantarão; eles estão extintos, estão apagados como o pavio.
18 »Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.
18 Não vos lembreis das coisas passadas, nem considereis as coisas dos tempos antigos.
19 »I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Do you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.
19 Eis que Eu farei uma coisa nova, agora ela surgirá; vós não sabeis? Eu farei um caminho no ermo, e rios no deserto.
20 »Wild animals, jackals, and ostriches will honor me. I will provide water in the desert. I will make rivers on the dry land for my chosen people to drink.
20 O animal do campo me honrará, os chacais e as corujas, porque eu dei águas no ermo e rios no deserto para dar de beber ao meu povo, meu escolhido.
21 »I have formed these people for myself. They will praise me.
21 Este povo eu formei para mim mesmo, eles proclamarão meu louvor.
22 »Jacob, you have not prayed to me. Israel, you have grown tired of me.
22 Porém, tu não tens me invocado, ó Jacó, mas tu estás cansado de mim, ó Israel.
23 »You did not bring me sheep for your burnt offerings or honor me with your sacrifices. I did not burden you by requiring grain offerings or trouble you by requiring incense offerings.
23 Tu não me trouxeste o gado miúdo de tuas ofertas queimadas, nem me honraste com teus sacrifícios. Eu não te fiz servir com uma oferta, nem te cansei com incenso.
24 »You did not buy me any sugar cane with your money or satisfy me with the best part of your sacrifices. Rather, you burdened me with your sins and troubled me with your iniquities.
24 Tu não compraste para mim cálamo aromático com dinheiro, nem me encheste com a gordura de teus sacrifícios; porém, me fizeste servir com teus pecados; tu me cansaste com tuas iniquidades.
25 »I alone am the one who is going to wipe away your rebellious actions for my own sake. I will not remember your sins anymore.
25 Eu, eu sou o que apago completamente tuas transgressões por amor de mim mesmo, e não me lembrarei dos teus pecados.
26 »Remind me of what happened. Let us argue our case together. State your case so that you can prove you are right.
26 Coloca-me na tua memória. Deixa que debatamos em juízo juntamente. Declara, para que tu possas ser justificado.
27 »Your first ancestor sinned, and your priests rebelled against me.
27 Teu primeiro pai pecou; e teus mestres têm transgredido contra mim.
28 »That is why I will corrupt the leaders of the holy place. I will claim Jacob for destruction. I will set up Israel for ridicule.«
28 Portanto, eu tenho profanado os príncipes do santuário, e tenho dado Jacó para a maldição, e Israel para a desonra.
