New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs BKJ
1 Jehovah said to Moses: »You and the people you brought out of Egypt must leave this place. Go to the land I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob with an oath, saying: I will give it to your descendants.«
1 E disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Vai, sobe daqui, tu e o povo que fizeste subir da terra do Egito, para a terra que jurei a Abraão, a Isaque, e a Jacó, dizendo: À tua semente a darei.
2 »I will send an angel ahead of you. I will force out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.
2 E enviarei um anjo adiante de ti e expulsarei os cananeus, os amorreus, os heteus, os ferezeus, os heveus e os jebuseus,
3 »Go to that land flowing with milk and honey. I will not be with you, because you are impossible to deal with. I would probably destroy you on the way.«
3 para uma terra que mana leite e mel; porque eu não subirei no meio de ti, porque és um povo obstinado, para que eu não te consuma no caminho.
4 The people heard this bad news and acted as if someone had died. No one wore any jewelry.
4 E quando o povo ouviu essa má notícia, entristeceu-se; e nenhum homem pôs sobre si os seus ornamentos.
5 Jehovah said to Moses: »Tell the Israelites: You are impossible to deal with. If I were with you, I might destroy you at any time. Take off your jewelry and I will decide what to do with you.«
5 O SENHOR, pois, havia dito a Moisés: Dize aos filhos de Israel: Vós sois um povo obstinado; se por um momento eu subir no meio de ti, te consumirei. Por isso, agora tira de ti teus ornamentos, para que eu saiba o que fazer contigo.
6 The Israelites no longer wore their jewelry after they left Mount Horeb.
6 E os filhos de Israel tiraram de si os seus ornamentos junto ao monte Horebe.
7 Moses used to take a tent and set it up far outside the camp. He called it the tent of meeting. Anyone who was seeking Jehovahs will used to go outside the camp to the tent of meeting.
7 E Moisés tomou o tabernáculo, e o armou fora do acampamento, distante do acampamento, e o chamou de tabernáculo da congregação. E aconteceu que todo aquele que buscava o SENHOR saía para o tabernáculo da congregação, que estava fora do acampamento.
8 Whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people would rise and stand at the entrances to their tents and watch Moses until he went in.
8 E aconteceu que, saindo Moisés para o tabernáculo, todo o povo se levantava, e ficava cada homem diante da porta de sua tenda, e olhava Moisés pelas costas, até ele entrar no tabernáculo.
9 After Moses entered, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the door of the Tent. Jehovah would speak to Moses from the cloud.
9 E acontecia que, quando Moisés entrava no tabernáculo, a coluna de nuvem descia e ficava à porta do tabernáculo, e o SENHOR falava com Moisés.
10 The people would bow down as soon they saw the pillar of cloud at the door of the Tent.
10 E todo o povo via a coluna de nuvem ficar à porta do tabernáculo, e todo o povo se levantava; e adorava, cada um à porta da sua tenda.
11 Jehovah would speak with Moses in person intimatelyface to face just as someone speaks with a friend. Moses would then return to the camp. But the young man who was his helper, Joshua son of Nun, stayed in the Tent.
11 E o SENHOR falava com Moisés face a face, como um homem fala com seu amigo. E ele voltava novamente ao acampamento, mas seu servo Josué, o filho de Num, um jovem, não se apartava do meio do tabernáculo.
12 Moses said to Jehovah: »It is true that you have told me to lead these people to that land, but you did not tell me whom you would send with me. You said that you know me well and are pleased with me.
12 E disse Moisés ao SENHOR: Vê, tu me dizes: Faz subir este povo, e não me deste a saber quem enviarás comigo. Mas disseste: Conheço-te pelo nome, e tu encontraste graça aos meus olhos.
13 If you are, tell me your plans, so that I may serve you and continue to please you. Remember also that you have chosen this nation to be your own.«
13 Por isso, agora, rogo-te, se encontrei graça aos teus olhos; mostra-me agora o teu caminho, para que eu te conheça, para que eu encontre graça aos teus olhos, e considera que esta nação é o teu povo.
14 Jehovah replied: »I will go with you and give you peace.«
14 E ele disse: Minha presença irá contigo, e eu te darei descanso.
15 Moses said: »If you are not going with us, please do not make us leave this place.
15 E ele disse-lhe: Se tua presença não for comigo, não nos faças subir daqui.
16 »If you do go with us, everyone will know that you are pleased with your people and with me. That way, we will be different from the rest of the people on earth.«
16 Como pois se poderá saber que achamos graça aos teus olhos, eu e teu povo? Não é em andares tu conosco? Assim seremos separados, eu e teu povo, de todos os povos que estão sobre a face da terra.
17 Jehovah said to Moses: »I will do this thing of which you have spoken. You have found favor in my sight. I have known you by name.
17 E disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Farei também isto que disseste, pois encontraste graça aos meus olhos, e eu te conheço pelo nome.
18 Then Moses said: Please show me your glory!«
18 E ele disse: Suplico-te, mostra-me a tua glória.
19 Jehovah said: »I will make all my goodness pass in front of you. I will call out my name, JEHOVAH. I will be kind to anyone I want to. I will be merciful to anyone I want to.«
19 E ele disse: Farei toda a minha bondade passar diante de ti, e proclamarei o nome do SENHOR diante de ti. E terei misericórdia de quem eu tiver misericórdia, e me compadecerei de quem eu me compadecer.
20 But he said: »You cannot see my face, because no one may see me and live.«
20 E disse: Não podes ver a minha face, porque nenhum homem me verá e viverá.
21 Then Jehovah said: »Look, there is a place near me. Stand by this rocky cliff.
21 E disse o SENHOR: Vê, há um lugar junto a mim, e tu ficarás sobre a rocha.
22 »When my glory passes by, I will put you in a crevice in the cliff and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.
22 E acontecerá, quando a minha glória passar, que eu te porei em uma fenda da rocha, e te cobrirei com a minha mão enquanto eu passar,
23 »Then I will take my hand away, and you will see my back, but my face must not be seen.«
23 e tirarei a minha mão, e tu me verás pelas minhas costas; mas a minha face não será vista.
