Bulu ntam pɔpwɛ; Nkonya (NKONT) vs VC

2 — ausente —
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ɔlɛtɩ ahá ɔbɛ́ɛ, bʋbá nkɛ ámʋ asɩ. Brɛ́á owíe ámʋ lɔ́bwɛ tá á, ɔlɔwa mʋ asúmpʋ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, bʋyɛ́tɩ ahá ámʋ abʋba, támɛ bekiná bá.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Mʋ́ sʋ ɔlɛlawá mʋ asúmpʋ́ bámbá ɔbɛ́ɛ, ‘Mlɩtra yɛbláa ahá ámʋ mlɩaa, nabwɛ́ tógyítɔ́ tá. Bamɔ́ mɩ́ nnantswie akpɔnkpɔntɩ ámʋ pʋ́ amʋ́á bawá nfɔ, nɩ́ná atɔ́ ámʋ fɛ́ɛ́ tá. Mʋ́ sʋ bʋbá ɔtsɩ ɔkpaɩ́nkpá ɩnʋ.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Támɛ ahá ámʋ́ʋ́ bɛyɛ́tɩ ámʋ bʋmɛkplá amʋ́. Bɛnatɩ́ sí amʋ́ yɔ́ amʋ́ agyʋ́másʋ́. Akʋ bɛnatɩ́ yɔ́ amʋ́ ndɔtɔ. Akʋ ɛ́ bɛnatɩ́ yɔ́ amʋ́ ibíá ogyíkpá.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Amʋ́ atráhɛ bɛkɩtá asúmpʋ́ amʋ, dá amʋ́, mɔ́ amʋ́.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Brɛ́á owíe amʋ lónu asʋ́n ánfɩ á, ɔblɔ́ lɛhɩɛ́ kɩ́tá mʋ. Mʋ́ sʋ ɔlɔwa mʋ ɩsá akɔpʋ́, bɔyɔ́mɔ ahá ámʋ́ʋ́ bɔmɔ mʋ asúmpʋ́ amʋ, wá amʋ́ wúlu ogyá.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Mʋ́ʋ́ ɔlɛbláa mʋ asúmpʋ́ bámbá ɔbɛ́ɛ, ‘Banɩ́ná ɔtsɩkpaɩ́n atogyihɛ amʋ tá, támɛ ahá ámʋ́ʋ́ nɛtɩ ámʋ bʋmɔfʋn ha mɩ́ wóyítɔ́ ba.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Mʋ́ sʋ mlɩwie awúlutɔ, amlɩtɩ ɔhagyíɔha ánɩ́ mlówun, ɔba ɔtsɩ ɔkpaɩ́nkpá ɩnʋ.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ɩnʋ asúmpʋ́ amʋ bowie awúlutɔ. Bɛtɩ ɔhagyíɔha ánɩ́ bowun, aha wankláán pʋ́ aha laláhɛ fɛ́ɛ́. Mʋ́ sʋ ahá bɔbʋlá ɔtsɩ ɔkpaɩ́nkpá ɩnʋ dɛ́dɛ́ɛ́dɛ́.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Támɛ brɛ́á owíe amʋ lɛ́bɛkɩ ahá ámʋ́ʋ́ batɩ́ ámʋ a, olowun oyin ɔkʋá ɔmɔwa ɔtsɩkpaɩ́n nkɛtɔ atadɩɛ.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Mʋ́ʋ́ ɔlɛfɩtɛ́ mʋ ɔbɛ́ɛ, ‘Agya, nkálɩ ɩlɔbwɛ fʋmɔwa ɔtsɩkpaɩ́n nkɛtɔ atadɩɛ asa fɛba nfɩ?’ Oyin ámʋ mɛ́talɩ́ lɛ́ mʋ́ ɔnɔ́.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Mʋ́ʋ́ owíe amʋ lɛ́labláa mʋ asúmpʋ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, ‘Mlɩklɩ mʋ ayabi pʋ́ mʋ ɩbɩ, amlɩtswɩ mʋ wa oklún amʋtɔ. Ɩnʋ́ isú mʋ́a kpisíi bʋ nɩ.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu lɔ́mɔ mʋ asʋ́n ɔnɔ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, “Bulu tɛtɩ́ ahá tsɔtsɔɔtsɔ, támɛ ahá kpalobí pɛ́ ɔtɛlɛ́.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Farisifɔ ámʋ bɔyɔ́bwɛ ɔnɔ-ɔkʋlɛ ánɩ́ bɛ́tɛtɛ́ɛ Yesu ɔnɔ́tɔ́ asʋ́n nú, abʋnya mʋ akɩtálɛ́.
15 — ausente —
16 Mʋ́ sʋ bɔwa amʋ́ akasɩ́pʋ́ pʋ́ Owíe Herode ahá Yesu wá bɛɛ bʋyɛ́fɩtɛ́ mʋ bɛɛ, “Osunápʋ́, anɩyin ánɩ́ ɔnɔkwalɩpʋ fʋgyi, fʋ́tosúná Bulu asʋ́n ámʋ ɛ́ ɔnɔkwalɩsʋ. Fʋtamahá ɔhaa ɔtsɛ fʋ́ agywɩɩn, tsúfɛ́ fʋtamakɩ ɔhaa ansɩ́tɔ́.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Mʋ́ sʋ anɩdɛ́ fʋ́ fɩtɛ́ anu. Anɩ mbla lɛ́ha ɔkpa ánɩ́ akáa lampóo ha Roma owíe dɛhɛn Kaesare, ntɛ́ɛ anɩmáka?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Támɛ Yesu lówun amʋ́ agywɩɩn laláhɛ amʋ. Mʋ́ sʋ ɔlɛfɩtɛ́ amʋ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, “Apinabwɛbí abwɛpʋ́, ntogyi sʋ́ mlɩdɛ́ mɩ́ sɔ́ɔ kɩ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Mlɩtsu kɔ́ba amʋ́ʋ́ bʋtɔpʋ́ká lampóo amʋ ɩkʋ ba mɩ ankɩ.”Lampóoka kɔ́ba nɩ.|src="hk00166b.tif" size="col" loc="MAT22:15-22" copy="Horace Knowles, The Bible Society, London" ref="Mateo 22:19"
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ɔlɛfɩtɛ́ amʋ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, “Ma nwun pʋ́ mʋ dá dɩ́n mʋ́sʋ́?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Bɛlɛ mʋ́ ɔnɔ́ bɛɛ, “Kaesare.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Yesu mbuaɩ ánfɩ lóbwie amʋ́ ɔnɔ́. Mʋ́ sʋ bɛnatɩ́.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Ɛkɛ ámʋ kɛ́n á, Sadukifɔ akʋ bɛba Yesu wá. Bʋgyi ɔpasua kʋá bʋtɛblɩ́ bɛɛ, kʋsʋ́ tsú afúlitɔ má ɩnʋ. Bɛfɩtɛ́ mʋ bɛɛ,
23 — ausente —
24 “Osunápʋ́, Mose lɔ́wanlɩ́n tswɩ anɩ ɔbɛ́ɛ, ‘Nɩ́ ɔkʋ mʋa mʋ ka bʋmɔkwɩɩ́ asa olowu sí mʋ ka ámʋ a, mʋ pio otsú mʋ ka ámʋ tsia, fɛ́kɩ ɔkwɩɩ ha owupʋ́ ámʋ.’
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Oyin ɔkʋlɛ abí abasíénɔ́ akʋ betsiá. Amʋ́tɔ́ ogyankpapʋ létsiá ɔká, támɛ ɔmɔkwɩɩ́ asa olowu. Mʋ pio lótsu ɔsʋrapʋka amʋ tsía,
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 támɛ mʋ ɛ́ ɔmɔkwɩɩ́. Ɔsaasɩ lótsu ɔtsɩ ámʋ tsía. Mʋ ɛ́ ɔmɔkwɩɩ́. Alɩɩ yɔ́tʋ osienɔ́sɩ́ amʋ.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ɔma-ɔma a, ɔsʋrapʋ mʋ ɛ́ lóbowu.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Afúli ɔkʋsʋ́kɛ́ a, amʋ́tɔ́ ɔmɔmʋ ɔbɔ́bwɛ mʋ kulu? Tsúfɛ́ amʋ́ abasíénɔ́ ámʋ fɛ́ɛ́ betsiá mʋ.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Mʋ́ʋ́ Yesu lɛ́lɛ mʋ́ ɔnɔ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, “Megyí mlɩ ológyi. Mlɩméyín Bulu asʋn wanlɩ́nhɛ́ amʋ ntɛ́ɛ Bulu túmi.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Nɩ́ afúli bɔkʋ́sʋ́ á, bɔ́bwɛ fɛ́ Bulu-abɔpʋ. Bʋméetsiá aká mʋ́a akúlu.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Mlɩmɔ́kʋ́kla asʋ́n ánɩ́ Bulu onutó lɛ́bláa mlɩ tsú afúlikʋsʋ́ ɩwɩ?
32 Bulu asʋn wanlɩ́nhɛ́ lɛ́blɩ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, ‘Mɩ́gyí mlɩ anáin Abraham mʋa Isak pʋ́ Yakob Bulu ámʋ nɩ.’
33 Brɛ́á ɔdɔm amʋ bonu asʋ́n ánfɩ á, mʋ atosunáhɛ́ anfɩ lɛha ɔnɔ́ lobwie amʋ́.
34 Brɛ́á Farisifɔ bowun ánɩ́ Yesu lalɛ́ Sadukifɔ ámʋ asʋ́n ɔnɔ́, asʋ́n lawú wá amʋ́ ɔnɔ́ á, bɛkpa aba ya Yesu wá.
35 Amʋ́tɔ́ ɔkʋlɛá ogyi mbla osunápʋ́ lɛ́fɩtɛ́ Yesu asʋ́n, ɔpʋsɔ mʋ kɩ.
40 Mose Mbla pʋ́ Bulu ɔnɔ́sʋ́ atɔɩ́pʋ́ amʋ atosunáhɛ́ fɛ́ɛ́ ɩlɩɩ́ mbla anyɔ ánfɩsʋ.”
Responderam: De Davi!
43 Ɔlɛlafɩ́tɛ́ amʋ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ, “Mʋ́ ntogyi sʋ́ Ɔŋɛ Wankɩ́hɛ́ lɛ́ha Owíe Dawid lɛ́tɩ mʋ ɔbɛ́ɛ ‘Mɩ́ Wíé?’ Tsúfɛ́ Owíe Dawid lɛ́blɩ́ ɔbɛ́ɛ,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Anɩ Wíe Bulu lɛ́bláa mɩ́ Wíe ɔbɛ́ɛ,
46 Amʋ́tɔ́ ɔkʋkʋ mɛ́talɩ́ lɛ́ mʋ́ ɔnɔ́. Tsú ɛkɛ ámʋ a, ɔhaa mɛ́trá wa klʋn fɩtɛ́ mʋ asʋansʋ.
