¹ God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the "gods":

¹ Deus assiste na congregação divina; no meio dos deuses, estabelece o seu julgamento.

² "How long will you "defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? [^2]

² Até quando julgareis injustamente e tomareis partido pela causa dos ímpios?

³ Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.

³ Fazei justiça ao fraco e ao órfão, procedei retamente para com o aflito e o desamparado.

⁴ Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

⁴ Socorrei o fraco e o necessitado; tirai-os das mãos dos ímpios.

⁵ "The 'gods' know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

⁵ Eles nada sabem, nem entendem; vagueiam em trevas; vacilam todos os fundamentos da terra.
