1 Gaa domka méé tu wèé gúùan cg'ãè koe tcg'òóse, naka táá c'ẽe koe ga kàaku di ii guu, naka táá qãè khóèan khama ko ma kúrúse guu, naka táá tauku di ii guu, naka gataga táá c'ẽe koe ga cóèku di ii guu.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Ka̱base ábàèa cóán khama méé tu ii, Nqarim di kg'uian di bíìan xgónèa a, kàa úú tama a, gaan koe tu gha nxãasega kai a kgoaraè ka.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 X'aiga ba qãè Me e sa tu xám̀a hãa ke.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 X'aigam koe hàà, kg'õèa hãam nxõ̱á ba, ncẽe ko khóè ne ka bóòa xguìè, igaba kò Nqarim ka nxárá tcg'òóèa ba, a ba a Gam koe qaa-qaasa ii.

5 Ke tu gatu igaba kg'õèa nxõ̱án khama ma tshàoè, naka tua Tcom-tcomsam Tc'ẽem dim nquu ba ii, gaa koe tu gha tcom-tcomsa xu peresiti xu ii, a ko Tc'ẽem di zi dàòa-mááku zi kúrú, ncẽe ko Jeso Krestem koe guu a Nqari ba qãè-tcaokagu zi.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Nqarim dis Tcgãyas q'oo koe i ko máá:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Gatu ẽe ko dtcòm̀ tu kam ncẽem nxõ̱á ba cgáé me e. Igaba ẽe dtcòm̀ tama ne méé ne ncẽe kg'uian komsana, ncẽe ko máá:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Si ko c'ẽe koe gaia máá:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Igaba tu gatu nxárá tcg'òóèa tu khóè tu u, x'aiga tu u, a peresiti tu u, tcom-tcomsas qhàò sa, Nqarim ka q'õòèa tu khóè tu, nxãasega tu gha cgáé zi gúù zi Nqarim di zi xgaa-xgaa ka, ncẽe ko ntcùúan q'oo koe tciia tcg'òó tu u a Gam di are-aresa x'áàn koe tciia óá tu u ba.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 C'ẽe x'aè ka tu kò khóè tu tama tu u, igabaga tu ncẽeska Nqarim di tu khóè tu u; c'ẽe x'aè ka tu kò cgóm̀kuan hòò tama, igaba tu ncẽeska cgóm̀kuan hòòa hãa.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ncàm̀-ncamsa tuè, dàra-kg'aoan hẽé naka tãá nqõó koe guua khóèan hẽéthẽé khamar ko ma dtcàrà tu u, cg'ãè zi tc'ẽe zi cgàam di zi koe tu gha tcg'òóse sa, ncẽe khóèm di tc'ẽean cgoa ko x'ãàku zi.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Eẽta ne ko ma tãá zi qhàò zi di ne cg'ãè zi gúù zi ko kúrú tu khóè tu khama ma tshúù kg'uian gatu ka kg'ui igaba méé tu gatu gane xg'aeku koe qãèse kg'õè, naka ne nxãasega gatu di zi qãè zi tséé zi bóò, naka Nqari ba ẽem gha ko hààm cáḿ ka x'áàkagu.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 X'aigam Nqarim domka méé tu wèé qarian khóèm di koe máàse: x'aiga-dxoom koe ga igaba ncẽe tc'amaka hàna ba,

14 kana tc'ãà-cookg'aian koe igaba, ncẽe gaam ka tsééa tcg'òóèa a, a ko hàà ẽe ko chìbian kúrú ne xgàra, a i a ẽe ko qãèan kúrú ne dqo̱m̀.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Nqarim di ncàm̀a ne gatà ii, qãè gúùan kúrúan ka tu gha ẽe kóḿa q'ãa tama a káà tc'ẽe khóèan nqookagu.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Kgoarasea ne khóè ne khama méé tu ma kg'õè, igaba táá gatu di kgoarasean kúrú naka i c'ẽe cg'ãèan qàbi tcãà guu; kg'õè méé tu Nqarim di tu tséé-kg'ao tu iise.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Wèé khóèan tu tcom. Gatu ka c'ẽean tu ncàm̀. Nqari ba tu q'áò. X'aiga-dxoo ba tu tcom.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Qãàn méé i gaan ka q'õòsean wèé tcoman cgoa komsana; ẽe qãè a tc'auan koe cúí tamase, igabaga ẽe xgárá ne koe ga hẽéthẽé e.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Ncẽè c'ẽem khóèm kò Nqari bam máàsea hãa domka káà chìbise xgàraèa, a ba a qáò tcáó ii, nem gha Nqari ba dqo̱m̀ me.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ncẽè chìbian tu kò kúrú a ko gaan domka xg'áḿmè, a tu a qáò tcáó ii ne tua gha gaan domka dqo̱m̀mè? Igaba ncẽè qãèan kúrú domka tu kòo xgàraè, a gaan koe qáò tcáó ii nem gha Nqari ba dqo̱m̀ tu u.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ncẽes gúùs domka tu kò tciièa, gatagam kò thẽé Kreste ba gatu domka xgàraè khama, sere-sere sam kò guua máá tu u, nxãasega tu gha xùri dàò Me ka,
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “cúí chìbi ga kúrú tama ba,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Eẽm kò cóèè kam kò táá cóèkuan ka̱bia máá ne, a ba a kò ẽem kò xgàraè ka táá bìrí ne, ka̱bisem gha a hàà xgàra ne sa, igabam kò ẽe ko tchànose xgàra Mem koe máàse.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Gam ncẽe kò gatá di cg'urian tc'áróa ba ka xgàu hìis koe xgàma hãa ba, nxãasega ta gha cg'urian x'óóa máá, a ta a gha tchànoan kg'õèa máá ka. Gam di chìbian ka tu kg'õèkaguèa hãa.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ho̱àko zi ghùu zi khama tu kò ii, igaba tu ncẽeska gatu dim Kòre-kg'aom koe ka̱bisea hãa khama, Q'õé-kg'aom gatu di tc'ẽean di ba.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
