1 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ Jesús kyo̱jtsꞌukvaannuva je̱ tukmuꞌaꞌixmojkin ma̱a̱t. Jidu̱ꞌu̱m tseꞌe vyaajñ:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ―Je̱ Nteꞌyam xa veꞌe du̱vo̱o̱p je̱ jayu je̱tseꞌe yꞌijttinit je̱m yꞌam kya̱ꞌm. Veꞌem xa je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe ax joꞌn toꞌk je̱ yakkutojkpa juuꞌ veꞌe je̱ myajntk du̱nu̱xa̱a̱jtoꞌni ku veꞌe tya̱ꞌa̱xpu̱jk,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 je̱tseꞌe je̱ tyoompata̱jk du̱kejx je̱tseꞌe je̱ javya̱a̱ꞌkx na̱jkx du̱vo̱vda; ax kaꞌa tseꞌe je̱ javya̱a̱ꞌkx jye̱ꞌydi.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Vanꞌit tseꞌe du̱ke̱jxnuva je̱ viijnk toompada, je̱tseꞌe du̱nu̱u̱jmidi: “Na̱a̱jmada je̱ javya̱a̱ꞌkxta je̱ts apa̱a̱mdu̱kani a̱tseꞌe njayep je̱ kaaky je̱ na̱a̱j, tá̱vani a̱tseꞌe nyakjayꞌa̱a̱ꞌkju̱ a̱ts je̱ ntsapkaaj je̱ts je̱ tá̱nu̱k juuꞌ a̱tseꞌe tu̱nyakyeeꞌk, avaadani veꞌe nu̱jom. Vaꞌan du̱minda xa̱a̱jiva.”
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ax kaꞌa tseꞌe je̱ javya̱a̱ꞌkx mya̱ja̱pa̱a̱jmjidi. Je̱meꞌe kyam jo̱o̱tm toꞌk ñu̱jkx, jadoꞌk tseꞌe ajooyva ato̱o̱ꞌkpa ñu̱jkx,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 juuꞌ tseꞌe viijnkta, myajtstu tseꞌe je̱ yakkutojkpa je̱ tyoompada je̱tseꞌe du̱jomtoondi du̱titoondi, je̱tseꞌe du̱yakꞌo̱o̱ꞌkti.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ yakkutojkpa o̱o̱y tyunjo̱tmaꞌty, je̱tseꞌe je̱ tyojpata̱jk du̱kejx je̱tseꞌe na̱jkx du̱yakꞌo̱o̱ꞌkká̱xta je̱ꞌe̱ juuꞌ veꞌe du̱yakꞌo̱o̱ꞌktu je̱ tyoompada, je̱tseꞌe je̱ kyajpu̱n du̱yaktó̱ydat.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ tyoompata̱jk du̱nu̱u̱jmi: “Apa̱a̱mdu̱kani xa veꞌe nu̱jom je̱ xa̱a̱j, ax kaꞌa tseꞌe du̱vinmátsjada je̱ꞌe̱ juuꞌ veꞌe o̱jts yakvo̱vda je̱tseꞌe myíndat.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Je̱ꞌe̱ ka̱jx tseꞌe, na̱jkxu̱ xvo̱mokta je̱ja tooꞌ aajy je̱tseꞌe xyakmíndat xa̱a̱jiva nu̱jom pa̱n pa̱n jatyeꞌe mpaattup.”
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ toompa ta̱jk je̱ja tooꞌ aajy pyítsumdi je̱tseꞌe du̱vo̱mojkka̱jxti nu̱jom pa̱n pa̱n jatyeꞌe pyaattu, juuꞌ veꞌe o̱y jáyuda je̱ts juuꞌ veꞌe ko̱ꞌo̱y jáyuda. Veꞌem tseꞌe je̱ ta̱jk yꞌujts.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ’Ax ku tseꞌe je̱ yakkutojkpa tya̱jki je̱tseꞌe du̱ꞌix je̱ javya̱a̱ꞌkxta, vanꞌit tseꞌe du̱tukꞌixpejt toꞌk je̱ yaaꞌtya̱jk juuꞌ veꞌe je̱p veꞌnip, kaꞌa tseꞌe du̱tukta̱jki je̱ xo̱x juuꞌ veꞌe yakmo̱o̱y je̱ xa̱a̱j ka̱jx.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ yakkutojkpa ña̱ꞌmu̱xji: “Mex, ¿vintso̱ tseꞌe yaja tu̱mta̱ka ka je̱ xo̱x ma̱a̱tap juuꞌ veꞌe ya̱ xa̱a̱j ka̱jx toomp?” Ama̱ꞌa̱t tseꞌe tyaajñ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ yakkutojkpa du̱nu̱u̱jmi je̱ tyoompata̱jk: “Ka̱tsomda paktsomda je̱ts yakpítsumda je̱tseꞌe xpá̱mdat je̱m ako̱o̱ꞌts ítum. Je̱m tseꞌe nu̱may yaaxtinit je̱m tseꞌe nu̱may ñatya̱tskaaꞌtjidinit.” Jidu̱ꞌu̱m tseꞌe vyaajñ je̱ yakkutojkpa.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Ax veꞌem tseꞌe, nu̱may xa veꞌe juuꞌ veꞌe yakyaaxjidup; nu̱ꞌeejyjidats je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe pa̱n pa̱n jatyeꞌe yakvinko̱o̱ndup.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ fariseota̱jk du̱ꞌukko̱jtsmojkti pa̱n vintso̱ veꞌe je̱ Jesús ku̱du̱yakko̱jtstó̱kidi.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Vaajnjikts a̱a̱ts toꞌk aaj pa̱n vintso̱ mitseꞌe mvaampa, ¿yakjajtypeꞌe u̱u̱ꞌm je̱ mpavaꞌnu̱namda je̱tseꞌe je̱ kupa̱ꞌmu̱n yakmo̱ꞌo̱t je̱ yakkutojkpa César, ukpu̱ kaꞌa veꞌe?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ax ñu̱jaꞌvi tseꞌe je̱ Jesús vintso̱ veꞌe je̱ kyo̱ꞌo̱y vinmaꞌyu̱nda, je̱ꞌe̱ ka̱jx tseꞌe yꞌatsa̱a̱jv:
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Tukꞌixta a̱ts toꞌk je̱ meen juuꞌ veꞌe mpa̱a̱mdup je̱ kupa̱ꞌmu̱n.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ku veꞌe je̱ Jesús du̱ꞌix, vanꞌit tseꞌe yꞌatso̱o̱jvjidi:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Je̱tseꞌe yꞌatso̱o̱jvjidi:
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ku veꞌe du̱ꞌamo̱tunajxti, ama̱ꞌa̱t tseꞌe tyaandi. Vanꞌit tseꞌe ña̱jkxtini.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Je̱ xa̱a̱j tseꞌe je̱ saduceota̱jk je̱ Jesús du̱vinkutá̱midi. (Je̱ saduceota̱jk tseꞌe vaandup je̱ts kaꞌa veꞌe je̱ o̱o̱ꞌkpata̱jk yꞌukjoojntykpa̱jktinuvat.) Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ Jesús du̱ꞌamo̱tutú̱vidi:

Ax je̱ myutoꞌk mix ónu̱k tseꞌe taannup ax joꞌn je̱ yꞌajch je̱ yꞌónu̱k ku̱yꞌijt.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Ax nu̱vuxtojtu̱k tseꞌe yꞌijtti je̱ uts je̱ ajch. Ta̱ꞌa̱xpa̱jk tseꞌe je̱ ko̱o̱p ónu̱k, vanꞌit tseꞌe yꞌo̱o̱ꞌkni. Kaꞌa tseꞌe je̱ ñu̱da̱ꞌa̱x je̱ yꞌónu̱k du̱yakje̱ji. Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ myutoꞌk uts du̱pu̱jk je̱ kuꞌa̱a̱ꞌk ta̱ꞌa̱xta̱jk.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Nay vanxú̱pjyam tseꞌe jyajtpa je̱ myutoꞌk uts. Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ myume̱jtsk uts nay veꞌem jyajtpa. Veꞌemeꞌe jyajtti toꞌk jadoꞌk je̱ myutojtu̱k uts paat.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Tá̱vani tseꞌe yꞌo̱o̱ꞌkka̱jxtini vyeꞌna, vanꞌit tseꞌe yꞌo̱o̱ꞌknuva je̱ ta̱ꞌa̱xta̱jk.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ax kuuk tseꞌe je̱ o̱o̱ꞌkpata̱jk jyoojntykpa̱jktinuvat jadoꞌk nax, ¿pá̱nu̱kts vineꞌe tyu̱va du̱nu̱da̱ꞌa̱xap je̱ ta̱ꞌa̱xta̱jk?, ku̱x vaꞌan nu̱vuxtojtu̱keꞌe du̱pa̱jkti.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ Jesús yꞌatso̱o̱jvjidi:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Ku xa veꞌe je̱ o̱o̱ꞌkpa jyoojntykpa̱jktinuvat jadoꞌk nax, kaꞌa tseꞌe je̱ jayu yꞌukyaaꞌvya̱jktinit kaꞌa tseꞌe je̱ jayu yꞌukta̱ꞌa̱xpa̱jktinit, veꞌem xa je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe yꞌijttinit ax joꞌn je̱ ángeles juuꞌ veꞌe je̱m tsapjo̱o̱tm.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Ax je̱ꞌe̱ tseꞌe ku veꞌe je̱ o̱o̱ꞌkpa jyoojntykpa̱jktinuvat jadoꞌk nax, ta̱ tseꞌe xko̱tsta juuꞌ veꞌe je̱ Nteꞌyam mtukna̱ꞌmu̱xju̱dup je̱p Kunuuꞌkx Jatyán ku̱jxp. Jidu̱ꞌu̱m je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe vyaꞌañ:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 “XNteꞌyamidup a̱tseꞌe je̱ Abraham, je̱ Isaac, ma̱a̱t je̱ Jacob.” Je̱ꞌe̱ ka̱jx tseꞌe, Ntyeꞌyamivapts je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe je̱ jayu je̱ Nteꞌyam pa̱n pa̱n jatyeꞌe jaanchjaꞌvijidu ku veꞌe yꞌo̱o̱ꞌktini, kaꞌa tseꞌe je̱ jyo̱o̱tta je̱ jyaꞌvinda yꞌa̱a̱ꞌka, joojntykidup je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Vanꞌit tseꞌe nu̱toꞌk je̱ tsaptu̱jkpit yakꞌixpa̱jkpa du̱ka̱tsa̱vu̱u̱ꞌn je̱ Jesús. Jidu̱ꞌu̱m tseꞌe du̱nu̱u̱jmi:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 ―Yakꞌixpa̱jkpa, ¿juuꞌs je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe je̱ pavaꞌnu̱n juuꞌ veꞌe du̱nu̱ma̱jika̱jxp?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?

37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ya̱ꞌa̱ts je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe je̱ pavaꞌnu̱n juuꞌ veꞌe du̱nu̱ma̱jika̱jxp.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:

42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Vanꞌit tseꞌe je̱ Jesús vyaajñ:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Je̱ Nteꞌyam xa veꞌe du̱nu̱u̱jmi a̱ts je̱ nMa̱ja̱ Vintsá̱n:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ’Jidu̱ꞌu̱m tseꞌe je̱ David vyaajñ je̱ts je̱ Mya̱ja̱ Vintsá̱n je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe je̱ Cristo. Ax veꞌem tseꞌe, vaꞌajts tseꞌe yaknu̱java je̱ts ka je̱ chaan je̱ kyo̱o̱jjyap je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe je̱ Cristo, je̱ Mya̱ju̱ Vintsa̱mpa je̱ꞌe̱ veꞌe.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
