1 Yesu akalongi nabhu kabheti kwa malenganesu,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Ukolongwa wa kunani kumahunde ulengini na nkolongwa joakantendi mwana waki uwangalalu wa chilebhi cha ukwate.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Bhela akabhatumiki bhatumika bhaki kubhakema bhaakabhakokiki kuhika paukwate, nambu bhombi bhakakaniki kuhika.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Akabhatumiki kabheti bhatumika bhangi, akapwagha, ‘Mkabhapwaghila bhala bhanabhakokiki, kubha chilebhi chibhi tayale, njinjiki likambaku langu la ng'ombi, na ng'ombi yengi yeinenipe, na kila chindu chibhi tayale, muhikaye paukwati.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Nambu bhombi ngachebhaholali ghanighala, bhakabohkiki, jongi akapiti kumighonda jaki, na jongi kumahengu ghaki,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 na bhangi bhakabhakamwi bhatumika bhala na kubhalapula, na kubhakoma.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Nkolongwa jola akayomike, akabhatumiki manjolinjoli bhaki, bhakabhakoma bhala bhabhakomiki bhatumika bhaki, na kuuyonanga muchi wabho.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Kabhet akabhapwaghi bhatumika bhaki, ‘Uwangalalu wa chilebhi cha ukwati chibhi tayale, nambu bhabhakokakike ngechebhapalakikaje.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Bhela, njenda mwindela na bhokapi bhala bhamwabhonaje mubhakema bhahika paukwate.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Bhala bhatumika bhakabhokike, bhakapiti mwindela, bhakabhaletiki bhandu bhokapi bhabahwene, bhahakau na bhambone. Nyumba ja ukwate jakatweli bhaghene.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Nkolongwa paakajingi kwabhona bhaghene, akambweni mundu jumu jwangakuwata ingobhu ja ukwate.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Nkolongwa akundalukile, ‘Nkoche, bho, ujingi bholi pambane panga ingobhu ja ukwate?’ Nambu jombi akatemi chinunu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Panihapa nkolongwa akabhapwagili bhatumika bhaki, ‘Munkonga magholu na mabhoku mukundekala kunja kulwihi. Konihoku analela na kuyagha mino.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu akajomuli kwa kupwagha, “Bhamaheli bhabhakokakike, nambu bhahaghulika nde bhachokope.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Bhela, Mafalisayo bhakapiti, na kupwaghanila ntundu wa kunkamu Yesu kwa malobhi ghake.

16 Bhela, bhakabhatumiki bhabhulwa bhabhu papamu na bhahemba bhaka Helode kwaka Yesu. Bhakundalukile, “Mbola, tumanyi kubha wenga wa mundu wambone, na kubha ubhola indela jaka Chapanga kwa chakaka, ngacheunjoghopa mundu jokapi jola, panga kuholalela kubha bhandu bhapwagha kike.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Henu, utupwaghilaje maholalelu ghako, bho, wichu le kwitu au nga wichu kwitu, kulepa kode kwaka Kaisali?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Nambu Yesu akaumanyi uhakau wabho, akabhapwaghile, “Mwenga mwakandumi kubhele, bho, mbona mnenga?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Mnangihaje mbija ja kulepela kode.”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Bhela, Yesu akabhalalukile, “Bho, sula ajeji na lihina aleli yaka nane?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Bhakamuyangike, “Nde yaka Kaisali.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Pabhajowini bhenibhela bhakakangichi namaa, bhakundekiki, na bhakabhokanile.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Lichobha lelalela, Masadukayo bhakumu bhabhapwagha bhabhawili ngachebhahyoka, bhakunjendi Yesu,

24 na kumpwaghila, “Mbola, Musa akapwaghiki mundu joatowili anaapotile panga na kundeka mwana, ipalika ndongu waki ampwelila mbomba joaweliwi na ndomi hoju, nahuli ambelakya ndongu waki bhana.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Henu, pitu pani pakabhi na bhalongu saba. Wa kutumbula akatowi mbomba, na akapotile, na maghambu ngacheakabhi na bhana, akandeki ndongu waki mbomba joaweliwi na ndomi jola.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Ikabi bhelabhela kwa ndongu wa kabhele, na wa katatu, mbaka wa saba.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Pakujomukela mbomba hoju najombi akapotile.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Bho, lichobha bhakuwa pabhiyokaje, mbomba hoju anaabya nhwanu waka nane pachilanda ja bhalongu saba bhala? Kwa ndandi bhokapi saba bhakabhi bhuntogwile.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesu akabhayangike, “Mwanganya muhobhike, kwa ndandi ngachemughamanyi Malembu ghaka Chapanga, wala makili ghaka Chapanga.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Ndandi bhakuwa pabhiyokaje ngabhitogholi wala kutoghuleka, nambu bhibya ngati bhatumika bhaka Chapanga bha kunani kumahunde.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Nambu kubhokana na kuyoka kwa bhakuwa, bho, ngachemsomiki ghala ghaampwaghi Chapanga? Akapwaghike,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Nepani nde Chapanga waka Ibulahimu, Chapanga waka Isaka, na Chapnga waka Yakobo!’ Bhela, jombi nga Chapanga wa bhakuwa, nambu jombi nde Chapanga wa bhandu bhabhabhi bhome.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Lipogha la bhandu lela palajowini ghanighala, bhakakangichi mabholu ghake.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Bhela Mafalisayo pabhajowini kubha Yesu akabhi bhatumbalishi Masadukayo, bhakaketangini papamo.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Jumu wabhu, bambo Shelia, akandaluki Yesu kwa kundenga,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Mbola, bho, amuli bhole nde ngolongwa mu Shelia jokapi?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesu akayangiki, “ ‘Umpala Bambo Chapanga waku kwa mtima waku wokapi, na kwa roho jaku jokapi, na kwa malangu ghaku ghokapi.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Jeniheji nde amuli ngolongwa na ja kutumbula.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Na ja kabheli jejilengana na jeniheji nde jenjenu, ‘Umpala njaku, ngati moulipali wamwete.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Shelia jokapi na mabholu ghokapi gha bhalota bhaka Chapanga, ghategamela amuli ibheli hayeyi.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Mafalisayo pabhalibhongini papamu, Yesu akabhalalukile,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Bho, mwanganya mbona bholi panani jaka Kristo? Bho, nde mwana waka nane?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesu akabhapwaghile, “Bhela, bho, iwezikana bholi kupwaga kwa makili ghaka Roho Mhuhu, Daude ankema jombi Bambo? Ndandi akapwaghike,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Bambo akampwaghi Bambo wangu.
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Bhela, ngati anakubhi Daude ankema Kristo, ‘Bambo,’ bho, aweza bholi henu kubha mwana waki?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Nga mundu nga jumu joakaweziki kumuyanga lilobhe. Na kutumbu lichobha leniheli nga mundu hata jumu joakalengiki kundalukila lilalukilu kabheti.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
