1 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 Falou o Senhor a Moisés no deserto do Sinai, no ano segundo da sua saída da terra do Egito, no mês primeiro, dizendo:
2 Let the sons of Israel also keep the Passover at its appointed time.
2 Celebrem os filhos de Israel a Páscoa a seu tempo.
3 In the fourteenth day of this month, between the evenings, you shall keep it in its appointed time. You shall keep it according to all its statutes, and according to all the ceremonies of it.
3 No dia catorze deste mês, ao crepúsculo da tarde, a seu tempo a celebrareis; segundo todos os seus estatutos e segundo todos os seus ritos, a celebrareis.
4 And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel to prepare the Passover.
4 Disse, pois, Moisés aos filhos de Israel que celebrassem a Páscoa.
5 And they prepared the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so all the sons of Israel did.
5 Então, celebraram a Páscoa no dia catorze do mês primeiro, ao crepúsculo da tarde, no deserto do Sinai; segundo tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim fizeram os filhos de Israel.
6 And there were certain men who were defiled by the dead body of a man, so that they could not prepare the Passover on that day. And they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.
6 Houve alguns que se acharam imundos por terem tocado o cadáver de um homem, de maneira que não puderam celebrar a Páscoa naquele dia; por isso, chegando-se perante Moisés e Arão,
7 And those men said to him, We [are] defiled by the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in its appointed time among the sons of Israel?
7 disseram-lhes: Estamos imundos por termos tocado o cadáver de um homem; por que havemos de ser privados de apresentar a oferta do Senhor , a seu tempo, no meio dos filhos de Israel?
8 And Moses said to them, You wait, and I will hear what the LORD will command about you.
8 Respondeu-lhes Moisés: Esperai, e ouvirei o que o Senhor vos ordenará.
9 And the LORD spoke to Moses saying,
9 Então, disse o Senhor a Moisés:
10 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your generations shall be unclean because of a dead body, or in a journey afar off, he shall still keep the Passover to the LORD.
10 Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Quando alguém entre vós ou entre as vossas gerações achar-se imundo por causa de um morto ou se achar em jornada longe de vós, contudo, ainda celebrará a Páscoa ao Senhor .
11 They shall keep it the fourteenth day of the second month at evening, eating it with unleavened cakes and bitter [herbs].
11 No mês segundo, no dia catorze, no crepúsculo da tarde, a celebrarão; com pães asmos e ervas amargas a comerão.
12 They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break any bone of it. According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.
12 Dela nada deixarão até à manhã e dela não quebrarão osso algum; segundo todo o estatuto da Páscoa, a celebrarão.
13 But the man that [is] clean, and is not in a journey, and holds back from preparing the Passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people. Because he did not bring the offering of the LORD in His appointed time, that man shall bear his sin.
13 Porém, se um homem achar-se limpo, e não estiver de caminho, e deixar de celebrar a Páscoa, essa alma será eliminada do seu povo, porquanto não apresentou a oferta do Senhor , a seu tempo; tal homem levará sobre si o seu pecado.
14 And if a stranger shall live among you, and prepares the Passover to the LORD, he shall do according to the ordinance of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger and for him that was born in the land.
14 Se um estrangeiro habitar entre vós e também celebrar a Páscoa ao Senhor , segundo o estatuto da Páscoa e segundo o seu rito, assim a celebrará; um só estatuto haverá para vós outros, tanto para o estrangeiro como para o natural da terra.
15 And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony. And at evening it was upon the tabernacle, looking like fire, until the morning.
15 No dia em que foi erigido o tabernáculo, a nuvem o cobriu, a saber, a tenda do Testemunho; e, à tarde, estava sobre o tabernáculo uma aparência de fogo até à manhã.
16 So it was always. The cloud covered it, and it looked like fire by night.
16 Assim era de contínuo: a nuvem o cobria, e, de noite, havia aparência de fogo.
17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the sons of Israel pulled up [stakes]. And in the place where the cloud stayed, there the sons of Israel pitched their tents.
17 Quando a nuvem se erguia de sobre a tenda, os filhos de Israel se punham em marcha; e, no lugar onde a nuvem parava, aí os filhos de Israel se acampavam.
18 At the command of the LORD the sons of Israel pulled up [stakes], and at the command of the LORD they pitched. As long as the cloud stayed upon the tabernacle they rested in camp.
18 Segundo o mandado do Senhor , os filhos de Israel partiam e, segundo o mandado do Senhor , se acampavam; por todo o tempo em que a nuvem pairava sobre o tabernáculo, permaneciam acampados.
19 And when the cloud stayed long upon the tabernacle many days, then the sons of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and did not journey.
19 Quando a nuvem se detinha muitos dias sobre o tabernáculo, então, os filhos de Israel cumpriam a ordem do Senhor e não partiam.
20 And so when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle, according to the command of the LORD they remained in their tents, and according to the command of the LORD they pulled up [stakes].
20 Às vezes, a nuvem ficava poucos dias sobre o tabernáculo; então, segundo o mandado do Senhor , permaneciam e, segundo a ordem do Senhor , partiam.
21 And so when the cloud stayed from evening to the morning, and the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they pulled up [stakes]. Whether by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they pulled up [stakes].
21 Às vezes, a nuvem ficava desde a tarde até à manhã; quando, pela manhã, a nuvem se erguia, punham-se em marcha; quer de dia, quer de noite, erguendo-se a nuvem, partiam.
22 Whether [it was] two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud stayed upon the tabernacle, remaining on it, the sons of Israel stayed in their tents and did not journey. But when it was taken up, they pulled up [stakes].
22 Se a nuvem se detinha sobre o tabernáculo por dois dias, ou um mês, ou por mais tempo, enquanto pairava sobre ele, os filhos de Israel permaneciam acampados e não se punham em marcha; mas, erguendo-se ela, partiam.
23 At the command of the LORD they encamped, and at the command of the LORD they pulled up [stakes]. They kept the charge of the LORD at the command of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
23 Segundo o mandado do Senhor , se acampavam e, segundo o mandado do Senhor , se punham em marcha; cumpriam o seu dever para com o Senhor , segundo a ordem do Senhor por intermédio de Moisés.
