1 And the LORD spoke to Moses saying,
1 Disse o Senhor a Moisés:
2 Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When you bring the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.
2 Fala a Arão e dize-lhe: Quando colocares as lâmpadas, seja de tal maneira que venham as sete a alumiar defronte do candelabro.
3 And Aaron did so. He lighted its lamps in front of the lampstand, as the LORD commanded Moses.
3 E Arão fez assim; colocou as lâmpadas para que alumiassem defronte do candelabro, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
4 And this work of the lampstand [was of] beaten gold, to its base and to its blossoms; it was beaten work. According to the pattern which the LORD had showed Moses, so he made the lampstand.
4 O candelabro era feito de ouro batido desde o seu pedestal até às suas flores; segundo o modelo que o Senhor mostrara a Moisés, assim ele fez o candelabro.
5 And the LORD spoke to Moses saying,
5 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés:
6 Take the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and purify them.
6 Toma os levitas do meio dos filhos de Israel e purifica-os;
7 And in this way shall you do to them to purify them. Sprinkle water of sin-offering on them, and let them shave all their flesh and wash their clothes, and make themselves clean.
7 assim lhes farás, para os purificar: asperge sobre eles a água da expiação; e sobre todo o seu corpo farão passar a navalha, lavarão as suas vestes e se purificarão;
8 Then let them take a young bull with its food offering, fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bull shall you take for a sin offering.
8 e tomarão um novilho, com a sua oferta de manjares de flor de farinha, amassada com azeite; tu, porém, tomarás outro novilho para oferta pelo pecado.
9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall gather the whole assembly of the sons of Israel together.
9 Farás chegar os levitas perante a tenda da congregação; e ajuntarás toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel.
10 And you shall bring the Levites before the LORD. And the sons of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites.
10 Quando, pois, fizerem chegar os levitas perante o Senhor , os filhos de Israel porão as mãos sobre eles.
11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD [for] an offering of the sons of Israel, so that they may do the service of the LORD.
11 Arão apresentará os levitas como oferta movida perante o Senhor , da parte dos filhos de Israel; e serão para o serviço do Senhor .
12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bulls. And you shall offer the one [for] a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
12 Os levitas porão as mãos sobre a cabeça dos novilhos; e tu sacrificarás um para oferta pelo pecado e o outro para holocausto ao Senhor , para fazer expiação pelos levitas.
13 And you shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them [for] an offering to the LORD.
13 Porás os levitas perante Arão e perante os seus filhos e os apresentarás por oferta movida ao Senhor .
14 So you shall separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall be Mine.
14 E separarás os levitas do meio dos filhos de Israel; os levitas serão meus.
15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall purify them and offer them [for] a wave offering.
15 Depois disso, entrarão os levitas para fazerem o serviço da tenda da congregação; e tu os purificarás e, por oferta movida, os apresentarás,
16 For they [are] wholly given to Me from among the sons of Israel, instead of those that open every womb. The first-born of all the sons of Israel, I have taken them to Me.
16 porquanto eles dentre os filhos de Israel me são dados; em lugar de todo aquele que abre a madre, do primogênito de cada um dos filhos de Israel, para mim os tomei.
17 For all the first-born of the sons of Israel [are] Mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck every first-born in the land of Egypt I set them apart for Myself.
17 Porque meu é todo primogênito entre os filhos de Israel, tanto de homens como de animais; no dia em que, na terra do Egito, feri todo primogênito, os consagrei para mim.
18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the sons of Israel.
18 Tomei os levitas em lugar de todo primogênito entre os filhos de Israel.
19 And I have given the Levites [as] a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the sons of Israel, so that there may be no plague among the sons of Israel when the sons of Israel come near the sanctuary.
19 E os levitas, dados a Arão e a seus filhos, dentre os filhos de Israel, entreguei-os para fazerem o serviço dos filhos de Israel na tenda da congregação e para fazerem expiação por eles, para que não haja praga entre o povo de Israel, chegando-se os filhos de Israel ao santuário.
20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the sons of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites. So the sons of Israel did to them.
20 E assim fez Moisés, e Arão, e toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel com os levitas; segundo tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés acerca dos levitas, assim lhes fizeram os filhos de Israel.
21 And the Levites purified themselves, and they washed their clothes. And Aaron offered them, an offering before the LORD. And Aaron made an atonement for them to purify them.
21 Os levitas se purificaram e lavaram as suas vestes, e Arão os apresentou por oferta movida perante o Senhor e fez expiação por eles, para purificá-los.
22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons. Even as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
22 Depois disso, chegaram os levitas, para fazerem o seu serviço na tenda da congregação, perante Arão e seus filhos; como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés acerca dos levitas, assim lhes fizeram.
23 And the LORD spoke to Moses saying,
23 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés:
24 This [is that] which [pertains] to the Levites. From twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
24 Isto é o que toca aos levitas: da idade de vinte e cinco anos para cima entrarão, para fazerem o seu serviço na tenda da congregação;
25 And from the age of fifty years they shall stop waiting upon the service, and shall serve no more.
25 mas desde a idade de cinquenta anos desobrigar-se-ão do serviço e nunca mais servirão;
26 But they shall minister with their brothers in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge; only he shall not serve [at] a service. So you shall do to the Levites as to their duties.
26 porém ajudarão aos seus irmãos na tenda da congregação, no tocante ao cargo deles; não terão mais serviço. Assim farás com os levitas quanto aos seus deveres.
