1 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first [day] of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 No segundo ano após a saída dos filhos de Israel do Egito, no primeiro dia do segundo mês, falou o Senhor a Moisés, no deserto do Sinai, na tenda da congregação, dizendo:
2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, according to their families, by their fathers' house, with the number of names, every male by their heads,
2 Levantai o censo de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contando todos os homens, nominalmente, cabeça por cabeça.
3 from twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
3 Da idade de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra em Israel, a esses contareis segundo os seus exércitos, tu e Arão.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of the house of his fathers.
4 De cada tribo vos assistirá um homem que seja cabeça da casa de seus pais.
5 And these [are] the names of the men that shall stand with you: Of Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;

6 Of Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;

11 of Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;

16 These [were] the noted ones of the congregation, rulers of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
16 Estes foram os chamados da congregação, os príncipes das tribos de seus pais, os cabeças dos milhares de Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are called by name.
17 Então, Moisés e Arão tomaram estes homens, que foram designados pelos seus nomes.
18 And they gathered all the congregation on the first [day] of the second month. And they declared their pedigrees according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their heads.
18 E, tendo ajuntado toda a congregação no primeiro dia do mês segundo, declararam a descendência deles, segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, cabeça por cabeça.
19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
19 Como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim os contou no deserto do Sinai.
20 And the sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born son, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, by their heads, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:
20 Dos filhos de Rúben, o primogênito de Israel, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, cabeça por cabeça, todos os homens de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
21 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben [were] forty-six thousand, five hundred.
21 foram contados deles, da tribo de Rúben, quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.
22 Of the sons of Simeon, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their heads, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:
22 Dos filhos de Simeão, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, cabeça por cabeça, todos os homens de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
23 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, [were] fifty-nine thousand, three hundred.
23 foram contados deles, da tribo de Simeão, cinquenta e nove mil e trezentos.
24 Of the sons of Gad, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:
24 Dos filhos de Gade, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
25 those numbered of the tribe of Gad, [were] forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty.
25 foram contados deles, da tribo de Gade, quarenta e cinco mil seiscentos e cinquenta.
26 Of the sons of Judah, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all able to go forth to war:
26 Dos filhos de Judá, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
27 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, [were] seventy-four thousand, six hundred.
27 foram contados deles, da tribo de Judá, setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.
28 Of the sons of Issachar, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:
28 Dos filhos de Issacar, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
29 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, [were] fifty-four thousand, four hundred.

30 Of the sons of Zebulun, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:

31 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, [were] fifty-seven thousand, four hundred.

32 Of the sons of Joseph, of the sons of Ephraim, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:

33 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, [were] forty thousand, five hundred.

34 Of the sons of Manasseh, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:

35 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, [were] thirty-two thousand, two hundred.

36 Of the sons of Benjamin, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:

37 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, [were] thirty-five thousand, four hundred.

38 Of the sons of Dan, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:

39 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, [were] sixty-two thousand, seven hundred.

40 Of the sons of Asher, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:
40 Dos filhos de Aser, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
41 those numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, [were] forty-one thousand, five hundred.

42 Of the sons of Naphtali, by their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' house, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war:
42 Dos filhos de Naftali, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
43 those were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, [were] fifty-three thousand, four hundred.
43 foram contados deles, da tribo de Naftali, cinquenta e três mil e quatrocentos.
44 These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the rulers of Israel being twelve men. Each one was for the house of his fathers.
44 Foram estes os contados, contados por Moisés e Arão; e os príncipes de Israel eram doze homens; cada um era pela casa de seus pais.
45 And all those that were numbered of the sons of Israel, by their fathers' house, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel:
45 Assim, pois, todos os contados dos filhos de Israel, segundo a casa de seus pais, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,
46 even all those who were numbered were six hundred three thousand, five hundred and fifty.
46 todos os contados foram seiscentos e três mil quinhentos e cinquenta.
47 But the Levites, according to the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.
47 Mas os levitas, segundo a tribo de seus pais, não foram contados entre eles,
48 For the LORD had spoken to Moses saying,
48 porquanto o Senhor falara a Moisés, dizendo:
49 Only you shall not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the sons of Israel.
49 Somente não contarás a tribo de Levi, nem levantarás o censo deles entre os filhos de Israel;
50 But you shall set the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all its things. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its vessels. And they shall serve it, and shall camp around the tabernacle.
50 mas incumbe tu os levitas de cuidarem do tabernáculo do Testemunho, e de todos os seus utensílios, e de tudo o que lhe pertence; eles levarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus utensílios; eles ministrarão no tabernáculo e acampar-se-ão ao redor dele.
51 And when the tabernacle sets forth, the Levites shall take it down. And when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. And the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
51 Quando o tabernáculo partir, os levitas o desarmarão; e, quando assentar no arraial, os levitas o armarão; o estranho que se aproximar morrerá.
52 And the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, each man by his own camp, and each man by his own banner, throughout their armies.
52 Os filhos de Israel se acamparão, cada um no seu arraial e cada um junto ao seu estandarte, segundo as suas turmas.
53 But the Levites shall pitch around the tabernacle of testimony, so that there may be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
53 Mas os levitas se acamparão ao redor do tabernáculo do Testemunho, para que não haja ira sobre a congregação dos filhos de Israel; pelo que os levitas tomarão a si o cuidar do tabernáculo do Testemunho.
54 And the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses. So they did.
54 Assim fizeram os filhos de Israel; segundo tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim o fizeram.
