1 Tˀe²jnao³-ˀni³ nca³yi³je³ cjoa⁴tsˀen⁴, cao⁴ nca³yi³je³ cjoa⁴chˀa²na⁴cha⁴, cao⁴ cjoa⁴jao²ncjain¹, cao⁴ cjoa⁴xin²ta³con², cao⁴ cjoa⁴xin²ta³con², cao⁴ nca³yi³je³ xi³ no²cjoa⁴ˀaon³.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Jo³-ni³ ˀnti¹le³ xi³ sˀa⁴ ca²tsin³, ca²ta³ma³me³-no³ je² nta¹chi³qui³ xi³ tˀa³tsˀe⁴ ni⁴ma⁴-no³, xi³ ña³qui³ nta³, jme¹-ni³ nca³ cˀoa⁴-sˀin² coan⁴jcha¹-si¹nio³ nca³ coi²tjo⁴ntjao²³.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Nca⁴ qui³cho²tˀao³ nca³ je² Nai³-na¹ tjin¹-le⁴ cjoa⁴nta³.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Ti⁴čhian³tˀa³-lao⁴³ yao³-no³ Nai³-na¹, je² jo³-ni³ la⁴jao⁴ xi³ ti¹jna³con³, xi³ cho⁴ta⁴ tsa³cja³ˀa¹xin², to⁴nca³ xi³ Ni³na¹ tsa³cja³ˀa¹jin³ nca³ nˀion¹ chji¹-le⁴.

5 Cˀoa⁴-ti⁴ jon² jo³-ni³ tsa² la⁴jao⁴ xi³ tjio¹con³ ca²ta³mao³, jnco³ ni³ˀya³ xi³ tsˀe⁴ espíritu, cˀoa⁴ ca²ta³mao³ na⁴ˀmi³ xi³ tsje³ nca³ cˀoai⁴tˀa³-nio³ cjoa⁴tjao² xi³ tsˀe⁴ espíritu, xi³ sa³sen¹-le⁴ Ni³na¹, to⁴tˀa³tsˀe⁴ Jesucristo.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Jo³-sˀin² ti¹nchja⁴ xon⁴ Escritura: Coe⁴-ni³ ya⁴ Sión cˀoe³jna²³ xi³ lao⁴ti¹tjon² xi³ lao⁴xi⁴nqui⁴, xi³ nˀion¹ chji¹-le⁴. Coi³ la⁴jao⁴-ve⁴ Cristo ni¹. Je² xi³ coan⁴cjain¹-le⁴ xi³ tˀa³tsˀe⁴ li²coi³ coan⁴soa³-le⁴.
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Cjai¹nca³ tjin¹-le⁴ cjoa⁴je³ya³ xi³ tˀa³tsaon⁴³ xi³ ma³cjain¹-no³ xi³ tˀa³tsˀe⁴. Xi³ tˀa³tsˀe⁴ je² xi³ tsi² si¹tjo³son², je² jo³-ni³ la⁴jao⁴ xi³ chji⁴ne⁴xjao¹ tsa³cja³ˀa¹xin², to⁴nca³ coan³ la⁴jao⁴xi⁴nqui⁴,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 cˀoa⁴ la⁴jao⁴ xi³ sa⁴te¹nqui³, cˀoa⁴ la⁴jao⁴ˀnti¹ xi³ si¹jti³-le⁴ je² xi³ sa³te¹nqui³ to⁴tˀa³tsˀe⁴ je² en¹-le⁴ Ni³na¹ nca⁴ tsˀa³ntjai²cjoa⁴, nca³ cˀoa⁴-sˀin² tsa³cˀai²-ni³le⁴.
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Jon² nio¹³ na⁴xi⁴na³nta¹ xi³ qui³tjo³jion³. Jon² nio¹³ na⁴ˀmi³ xi³ ncˀa³ xa¹-le⁴. Jon² nio¹³ na⁴xi⁴na³nta¹ xi³ tsje³, na⁴xi⁴na³nta¹ tˀa³tsˀe⁴ Ni³na¹, jme¹-ni³ nca³ coi⁴no²cjoa⁴ya³-nio³ cjoa⁴nta³ xi³ tsˀe⁴ Ni³na¹ xi³ qui³nchja⁴-no³ jña³ nca³ i³sen³xcon¹, ji²tjo⁴³ jña³ nca³ njion².
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Jon² nca³sˀa⁴ a³li² na⁴xi⁴na³nta¹-jion²³, to⁴nca³ ntˀai⁴-vi⁴ Ni³na¹ no²cjoa⁴-nio³. Nca³sˀa⁴ li²coi³ coan³ma⁴que³-no³ Ni³na¹, to⁴nca³ ntˀai⁴-vi⁴ je³coan³ma⁴que³-no³.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Jon² xi³ tsjoa³que⁴-no³, vˀe³tsˀoa²³-no³ jo³-ni³ tsa² cho⁴ta⁴xin²na³nqui³ xi³ to⁴tjio¹tso³ma²son² son³ˀnte³, ta⁴te²chjoa²-lao⁴³ yao³-no³ cjoa⁴chi⁴nca⁴-le⁴ xi³ cjan¹cao⁴ ni⁴ma⁴-no³.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Nta³ ta³nquin¹cao⁴³ yao³-no³ ya⁴jin³-le⁴ cho⁴ta⁴ xi³ li² judío-jin². Nta³ tsa² jo³-ni³ cho⁴ta⁴tsˀen⁴ ve³con³-no³, cˀia⁴ tsa² scoe⁴ nca³ nta³ xa¹-no³, cˀoa⁴sje³je³ya³ Ni³na¹ coi³ ni⁴čhjin³ nca³ Ni³na¹ cjoa⁴ˀai¹con³-le⁴.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Xi³ to⁴tˀa³tsˀe⁴ Ni³na¹ ti⁴tjo³son²-lao⁴³ nca³tsˀi³ xi³ va³te¹xo³ma³-no³, tsa² cho⁴ta⁴ti¹tjon² ti⁴tjo³son²-lao⁴³ jo³-ni³ nca³jco⁴-le⁴ nca³yi³je³,

14 tsa² gobernador cˀoa⁴-ti⁴ ti⁴tjo³son²-lao⁴³ jo³-ni³ tsa² xi³ Ni³na¹ qui³si³ca³sen¹ nca³jao⁴-le⁴, nca³ tsjoa¹-le⁴ cjoa⁴ñˀain³ cho⁴ta⁴tsˀen⁴, cˀoa⁴ nca³ cˀoa⁴sje³nta³ xi³ nta³ sˀin¹.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Je²-vi⁴ xi³ me³-le⁴ Ni³na¹ nca³ nta³ nˀiaon²³. Cˀoa⁴-sˀin² cˀoe¹chjoao²³ cjoa⁴njion²ta³con²-le⁴ cho⁴ta⁴ xi³ tsi²jme³ cjoa⁴fa³ˀai³tsjen³ tjin¹-le⁴.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Jon² xi³ cho⁴ta⁴ntai¹ nio¹³. A³li² ni²chjen¹-jion²³ cjoa⁴ntai¹-no³ nca³ cˀoe¹ˀma³ cjoa⁴tsˀen⁴-no³, to⁴nca³ cˀoa⁴tˀiaon⁴³ jo³-ni³ tsa² je² xi³ si¹xa¹-le⁴ Ni³na¹.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Jcha⁴xcon¹³ nca³tsˀi³. Ca²ta³ma³tsjoa³chao³ ntsˀao³. Ti⁴jcon¹chao³ Ni³na¹. Jcha⁴xcon¹³ cho⁴ta⁴ti¹tjon².
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Cho⁴ˀntao³, jcha⁴xcon¹³ ti⁴tjo³son²-lao⁴³ nai³-no³. A³li² to⁴je²-jin² ni²tjo³son²-lao⁴³ xi³ nta³, xi³ ve³tjao²-no³. Cˀoa⁴-ti⁴ ti⁴tjo³son²-lao⁴³ je² xi³ cao⁴ cjoa⁴tsˀen⁴ vˀe¹xa¹-no³.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Je²-vi⁴ xi³ nta³ sa³sen¹-le⁴ Ni³na¹, tsa² jnco³ xi³ to⁴tˀa³tsˀe⁴ cjoa⁴fa³ˀai³tsjen³-le⁴ nqui³xcon⁴ Ni³na¹, si¹cjain¹-le⁴ cjoa⁴ñˀain³ xi³ tsi² tsa² va³quin²-le⁴.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Jme¹ chji¹-le⁴ tsa² jcho¹cjoa⁴-no³ cˀia⁴ nca³ ma³jtsin³-no³ nca³ vi³jncho³ je¹. To⁴nca³ tsa² jcho¹cjoa⁴-no³ cˀia⁴ nca³ vˀai²-no³ cjoa⁴ñˀain³ nca³ nta³ nˀiaon²³, je²-vi⁴ xi³ cjoa⁴qui²xi⁴ sa³sen¹-le⁴ Ni³na¹.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Coi³ cjoa⁴ qui³no²cjoa⁴-ni³no³. Je² Cristo cˀoa⁴-ti⁴ tsa³cja³ˀa¹ cjoa⁴ñˀain³ xi³ tˀa³tsan⁴². Tsa³cˀe¹jna³cho⁴ya³-na¹ ntia⁴² xi³ tsˀe⁴, jme¹-ni³ nca³ cˀoa⁴-ti⁴ jon² coi⁴ma³-si¹nio³ jo³-sˀin² tsa³cˀa³mjen³ nca³ je¹.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Cristo li²coi³ tsa³jnqui³ je¹, ni⁴ qui³nchja⁴-jin² en¹chˀa²na⁴cha⁴.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Cˀia⁴ nca³ qui³no²cjoa⁴ˀaon³-le⁴ ni⁴jo³-jin² qui³tso² nca³ je². Cˀia⁴ nca³ tsa³cja³ˀa¹ cjoa⁴ñˀain³ li²coi³ qui³scan³cao⁴, to⁴ya⁴ qui³sca³ni¹tˀa³-le⁴ cjoa⁴ je² xi³ vˀe¹nta³jin³ cao⁴ cjoa⁴qui²xi⁴.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Je² soa³ tsa³cˀa³ xi³ tsan⁴² je¹, cˀia⁴ nca³ qui³tsjen³tjen⁴va³tˀa³ cro² yao³-le⁴, jme¹-ni³ nca³ coi⁴yo³chon³-si¹nia³² tˀa³tsˀe⁴ cjoa⁴qui²xi⁴, nca⁴ je³ti³yo³tˀa³xin²-le⁴² xi³ je¹ ˀmi² jo³-ni³ tsa² cˀen³. Coi³ nca³ qui³tsin²ˀaon³ nca³ je², coi³ coan³nta³-nio³.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Jon² nio¹³ jo³-ni³ va³rre² xi³ qui³cha³xcon³ ntia⁴²-le⁴, to⁴nca³ ntˀai⁴-vi⁴ je³ji³nčhoa³nčhˀoe²-nio³ nqui²ntia³ je² Pastor xi³ si¹coi²nta⁴ ni⁴ma⁴-no³.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
