1 A psalm of David. Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye sons of the mighty, ascribe unto the Lord glory and strength.
1 Tributai ao Senhor , filhos de Deus, tributai ao
2 Ascribe unto the Lord the glory of his name; bow down to the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
2 Tributai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome, adorai o
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, the Lordupon mighty waters.
3 Ouve-se a voz do Senhor sobre as águas; troveja o Deus da glória; o
4 The voice of the Lord resoundeth with power; the voice of the Lord resoundeth with majesty.
4 A voz do Senhor é poderosa; a voz do
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh in pieces the cedars; yea, the Lord shivereth the cedars of Lebanon;
5 A voz do Senhor quebra os cedros; sim, o
6 And he maketh them skip like a calf; Lebanon and Siryon like young reems.
6 Ele os faz saltar como um bezerro; o Líbano e o Siriom, como bois selvagens.
7 The voice of the Lord heweth out flames of fire.
7 A voz do Senhor despede chamas de fogo.
8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
8 A voz do Senhor faz tremer o deserto; o
9 The voice of the Lord causeth the hinds to start, and maketh bare forests: and in his temple every thing speaketh of his glory.
9 A voz do Senhor faz dar cria às corças e desnuda os bosques; e no seu templo tudo diz: Glória!
10 The Lord sat enthroned at the flood: and the Lord will sit as King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.
