1 Of David a psalm. Unto the Lord belongeth the earth with what filleth it, the world and they that dwell therein;
1 Do Senhor é a terra e tudo o que nela existe, o mundo e os que nele vivem;
2 For upon seas hath he founded it, and upon rivers hath he established it.
2 pois foi ele quem fundou-a sobre os mares e firmou-a sobre as águas.
3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord? and who shall be able to stand in his holy place?
3 Quem poderá subir o monte do Senhor? Quem poderá entrar no seu Santo Lugar?
4 He that is of clean hands, and pure of heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, and hath not sworn deceitfully:
4 Aquele que tem as mãos limpas e o coração puro, que não recorre aos ídolos nem jura por deuses falsos.
5 He shall bear away blessing from the Lord, and the reward of righteousness from the God of his salvation.
5 Ele receberá bênçãos do Senhor, e Deus, o seu Salvador lhe fará justiça.
6 This is the generation of those that adore him, that seek thy presence, the sons of Jacob. Selah.
6 São assim aqueles que o buscam, que buscam a tua face, ó Deus de Jacó. Pausa
7 Raise your heads, O ye gates; and be raised wide, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of glory enter!
7 Abram-se, ó portais; abram-se, ó portas antigas, para que o Rei da glória entre.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
8 Quem é o Rei da glória? O Senhor forte e valente, o Senhor valente nas guerras.
9 Raise your heads, O ye gates; and raise them up, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of glory enter!
9 Abram-se, ó portais; abram-se, ó portas antigas, para que o Rei da glória entre.
10 Who is then this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
10 Quem é esse Rei da glória? O Senhor dos Exércitos; ele é o Rei da glória! Pausa
