1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
1 A palavra do SENHOR veio a mim novamente, dizendo:
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother;
2 Filho do homem, havia duas mulheres, filhas da mesma mãe;
3 And they played the harlot in Egypt; in their youth they played the harlot: there were their breasts pressed, and there they suffered their virgin bosoms to be touched.
3 e, elas cometeram prostituições no Egito; cometeram prostituições em sua juventude; ali se deixaram apertar os peitos, ali acariciaram seus mamilos virginais.
4 And their names were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister; but they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters: and their names are, Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem, Aholibah.
4 E os seus nomes eram: Aolá, a mais velha, e Aolibá, sua irmã; e elas foram minhas, e deram à luz filhos e filhas; assim, eram os seus nomes: Samaria é Aolá, e Jerusalém, Aolibá.
5 And Aholah played the harlot while she was mine; and she longed for her lovers, for the Assyrians that were near her,
5 E Aolá prostituiu-se quando era minha; e ela apaixonou-se dos seus amantes, dos assírios, seus vizinhos,
6 Clothed as they were in blue, governors, and rulers, attractive youths all of them, horsemen riding upon horses.
6 os quais estavam vestidos de azul, capitães e governantes, todos eles jovens desejáveis, cavaleiros montados sobre cavalos.
7 Thus she played the harlot with them, all of them the chosen ones of the sons of Asshur: and with all for whom she longed,with all their idols did she defile herself.
7 Assim, ela cometeu as suas prostituições com eles, com todos aqueles que eram os homens escolhidos da Assíria, e com todos com quem se enamorava; com todos os seus ídolos ela se contaminou.
8 But also her lewdness from Egypt forsook she not; for they had lain with her in her youth, and they had touched her virgin bosom, and had lavished their lewd caresses on her.
8 Nem deixou as suas prostituições, trazidas do Egito; porque em sua juventude se deitaram com ela, e feriram os seios da sua virgindade, e derramaram sua prostituição sobre ela.
9 Therefore did I give her up into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the sons of Asshur, after whom she longed.
9 Portanto, eu a entreguei na mão dos seus amantes, na mão dos assírios, de quem se enamorara.
10 These were they that laid open her nakedness; her sons and her daughters did they take away, and her they slew with the sword: and she became infamous among women, when they inflicted the decreed punishments on her.
10 Estes descobriram a sua nudez, eles tomaram seus filhos e suas filhas, e a ela mataram com a espada; e ela tornou-se famosa entre as mulheres, porque eles tinham executado juízo sobre ela.
11 And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she became more corrupt in her longing than she, and in her lewd acts more than her sisters lewdness.
11 E quando sua irmã, Aolibá, viu isto, era mais corrupta em seu amor desordenado do que ela, e em suas prostituições mais do que a sua irmã nas prostituições dela.
12 For the sons of Asshur did she long, the governors and rulers that were near, clothed as they were most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, attractive youths all of them.
12 Enamorou-se dos Assírios, seus vizinhos, capitães e governantes vestidos maravilhosamente, cavaleiros que andavam montados em cavalos, todos jovens desejáveis.
13 Then saw I that she was defiled, that they followed both one way.
13 Então, eu vi que ela estava contaminada; que elas tomaram o mesmo caminho.
14 But she added still more to her acts of lewdness; for when she saw men engraved upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with color,
14 E, que ela aumentou suas prostituições, pois quando ela viu homens pintados na parede, as imagens dos caldeus, pintados de vermelho;
15 Bound with girdles on their loins, with hanging down colored turbans on their heads, in appearance like commanders, all of them, in the likeness of the sons of Babylon of the Chaldeans, the land of their birth:
15 cingidos de cinto nos seus lombos, e adornos de cores sobre suas cabeças, todos eles príncipes para se olhar, segundo a maneira dos babilônios da Caldeia, a terra de sua natividade.
16 Then did she long for them as soon as she saw them with her eyes, and she sent messengers unto them to Chaldea.
16 E, assim que ela os viu com os seus olhos, enamorou-se deles; e lhes mandou mensageiros à Caldeia.
17 And the sons of Babylon came to her unto the couch of love, and they defiled her with their lewd caresses; and yet when she had been defiled with them, she tore her soul away from them.
17 E os babilônios vieram a ela à cama de amor, e eles a contaminaram com sua prostituição, e ela foi poluída com eles, e sua mente estava alienada deles.
18 And when she had laid open her lewdness, and had uncovered her nakedness: then my soul tore itself away from her, as my soul had torn itself away from her sister.
18 Assim, ela descobriu suas prostituições e descobriu sua nudez; então a minha mente foi alienada dela, como a minha mente já havia se alienado de sua irmã.
19 Yet she multiplied her deeds of lewdness, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, when she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
19 Todavia, ela multiplicou as suas prostituições, chamando à lembrança os dias da sua juventude, nos quais ela havia se prostituído na terra do Egito.
20 And she longed for her paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose lustfulness is like the lustfulness of horses.
20 Porque enamorou-se dos seus amantes, cuja carne é como a carne de jumentos, e cujo fluxo é como o fluxo dos cavalos.
21 And thou calledst to mind the incest of thy youth, when thy bosom was touched by the Egyptians for the sake of thy youthful breasts.
21 Assim, tu chamaste à lembrança a lascívia da tua juventude, ao ter teus mamilos acariciados pelos egípcios, por causa dos seios da tua juventude.
22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will wake up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul hath torn itself away, and I will bring them against thee from every side;
22 Portanto, ó Aolibá, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu levantarei teus amantes contra ti, dos quais tua mente está alienada, e eu os trarei contra ti de todo lado.
23 The sons of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa and Koa, and all the sons of Asshur with them, attractive youths, governors and rulers all of them, commanders and chiefs, riding upon horses all of them.
23 Os babilônios, e todos os caldeus, Pecode, e Soa, e Coa, e todos os assírios com eles, todos eles jovens desejáveis, capitães e governantes, grandes senhores e renomados, todos eles montados sobre cavalos.
24 And they shall come over thee with weapons, chariots, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, buckler and shield and helmet shall they set up against thee round about: and I will give up before them the right to judge, and they shall judge thee according to their ordinances.
24 E eles virão contra ti com carruagens, carroças e rodas, e com uma assembleia de pessoas, as quais se colocarão contra ti broquel, escudo e elmo ao redor; e eu estabelecerei juízo diante deles, e eles te julgarão de acordo com os seus juízos.
25 And I will set my zealousness against thee, and they shall deal with thee in fury; thy nose and thy ears shall they cut off; and what is left of thee shall fall by the sword: thy sons and thy daughters shall they take away; and what is left of thee shall be devoured by the fire.
25 E eu colocarei o meu ciúme contra ti, e eles tratarão furiosamente contigo. Tirar-te-ão o teu nariz e as tuas orelhas, e o teu remanescente cairá pela espada. Eles tomarão teus filhos e tuas filhas, e o teu resíduo será devorado pelo fogo.
26 And they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy ornamental attire.
26 Eles também despirão as tuas vestes, e tomarão as tuas belas joias.
27 Thus will I make thy incest to cease from thee, and thy lewdness brought from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt not lift up thy eyes unto them, and Egypt shalt thou not remember any more.
27 Assim eu farei a tua lascívia cessar em ti, e a tua prostituição trazida da terra do Egito; para que tu não levantes os teus olhos para eles, nem te lembres mais do Egito.
28 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will give thee up into the hand of those whom thou hatest, into the hand of those from whom thy soul hath torn itself away;
28 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu te entregarei na mão daqueles que tu odeias, na mão daqueles de quem tua mente está alienada;
29 And they shall deal with thee in hate, and shall take away all things acquired by thy labor, and they shall leave thee naked and bare: and thus shall be uncovered the nakedness of thy lewdness, and thy incest and thy lewd deeds.
29 e, eles lidarão contigo odiosamente, e levarão embora todo o teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida; e a nudez das tuas prostituições será descoberta, a tua lascívia, e as tuas prostituições.
30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone with vile lust after the nations, because thou hast defiled thyself with their idols.
30 Eu farei estas coisas a ti, porque te prostituíste após os pagãos, e porque tu estás contaminada com seus ídolos.
31 On the way of thy sister hast thou walked; therefore will I place her cup into thy hand.
31 Tu andaste no caminho de tua irmã; portanto, eu entregarei o seu cálice na tua mão.
32 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The cup of thy sister shalt thou drink, the deep and wide one: thou shalt become to be laughed to scorn and to be held in derision, more than thou canst bear.
32 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Tu beberás do cálice de tua irmã, fundo e largo; serás motivo de riso e de desprezo, e tida por escárnio; isto contém muito.
33 With drunkenness and sorrow shalt thou be filled, out of the cup of astonishment and confusion, the cup of thy sister Samaria.
33 Tu serás preenchida de embriaguez e de dor; com o cálice de espanto e de desolação, com o cálice de tua irmã Samaria.
34 Thou shalt even drink it and drain it out, and thou shalt break in pieces its fragments, and tear thy own breasts; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
34 Tu irás até mesmo bebê-lo e sugá-lo, e quebrarás seus próprios cacos, e arrancarás fora os teus próprios seios; porque eu falei, diz o Senhor DEUS.
35 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back: therefore bear thou also thy incest and thy acts of lewdness.
35 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porque tu te esqueceste de mim, e me lançaste para trás das tuas costas, por isso tu também carregarás a tua lascívia e as tuas prostituições.
36 The Lord said moreover unto me, Son of man, wilt thou call Aholah and Aholibah to account? then tell them of their abominations;
36 O SENHOR me disse mais: Filho do homem, tu julgarás a Aolá e a Aolibá? Sim, declara-lhes as suas abominações;
37 That they have committed adultery, and there is blood on their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and also their sons whom they had born unto me have they caused to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.
37 Porque eles cometeram adultério e sangue há nas suas mãos, e com os seus ídolos cometeram adultério, e também fizeram com que seus filhos, que de mim geraram, passassem através do fogo, para os devorar.
38 Moreover this have they done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary on the same day, and my sabbaths have they profaned.
38 Ademais, isto fizeram a mim: contaminaram o meu santuário no mesmo dia, e profanaram os meus shabats.
39 And when they had slain their children to their idols, then came they into my sanctuary on the same day to profane it: and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.
39 Porque, quando eles haviam matado seus filhos a seus ídolos, vieram no mesmo dia ao meu santuário para profaná-lo, e eis que, assim eles fizeram no meio da minha casa.
40 And farthermore yet, because they sent for men who were to come from afar, unto whom messengers were sent; and, lo, they came, for whom thou didst bathe thyself, paint thy eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments;
40 E além disso, enviastes homens, para que viessem de longe, a quem um mensageiro foi enviado; e eis que eles vieram. Por quem te lavaste, pintaste os teus olhos, e te enfeitaste com ornamentos.
41 And thou didst sit upon a stately bed, with a table spread before it, and my incense and my oil didst thou set upon it.
41 E te assentaste sobre uma cama imponente, e uma mesa preparada diante dela, sobre a qual puseste o meu incenso e o meu azeite.
42 And the shout of a peaceful joyous multitude was heard within her; and with the men of the masses of the common people were brought Sabeans from the wilderness; and these women placed bracelets on their hands, and crowns of glory upon their heads.
42 E uma voz de uma multidão distraída estava com ela; e com os homens de tipo comum foram trazidos sabeus do deserto, que punham braceletes sobre suas mãos e belas coroas sobre suas cabeças.
43 Then thought I of her that was worn out in adulteries, Will they now still commit lewdness with her, when she is thus?
43 Então, eu disse àquela que estava velha de adultérios: Cometerão agora adultérios com ela, e ela com eles?
44 But men went in unto her, as they go in unto a faithless wife: thus went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the incestuous women.
44 E, eles entraram nela, como entram em uma mulher que se prostitui; assim eles entraram em Aolá e em Aolibá, mulheres lascivas.
45 Righteous men, howeverthese shall judge them as adulteresses are judged, and as women that shed blood are judged; because adulteresses are they, and blood is on their hands.
45 E os homens justos as julgarão segundo à maneira das adúlteras, e segundo à maneira das mulheres que derramam sangue; porque elas são adúlteras, e sangue há nas suas mãos.
46 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will bring up against them an assemblage of men, and I will give them up to illusage and plunder.
46 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu trarei uma companhia sobre elas, e as darei para serem removidas e saqueadas.
47 And the assemblage shall stone them with stones, and cut them down with their swords: their sons and their daughters shall they slay, and their houses shall they burn with fire.
47 E a companhia as apedrejará com pedras, e as despachará com as suas espadas; eles matarão seus filhos e a suas filhas, e queimarão as suas casas com fogo.
48 Thus will I cause incest to cease out of the land, that all women may be warned by example, and not do after your incestuous course.
48 Assim eu farei com que a lascívia cesse sobre a terra, para que todas as mulheres possam ser ensinadas a não fazerem segundo vossa lascívia.
49 And they shall lay your incest upon you, and the sins of your idols shall ye bear: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Eternal.
49 E eles recompensarão vossa lascívia sobre vós, e carregareis os pecados dos vossos ídolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.
