1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
1 Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother;
2 Filho do homem, houve duas mulheres, filhas de uma só mãe.
3 And they played the harlot in Egypt; in their youth they played the harlot: there were their breasts pressed, and there they suffered their virgin bosoms to be touched.
3 Estas se prostituíram no Egito; prostituíram-se na sua mocidade; ali foram apertados os seus peitos e apalpados os seios da sua virgindade.
4 And their names were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister; but they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters: and their names are, Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem, Aholibah.
4 Os seus nomes eram: Oolá, a mais velha, e Oolibá, sua irmã; e foram minhas e tiveram filhos e filhas; e, quanto ao seu nome, Samaria é Oolá, e Jerusalém é Oolibá.
5 And Aholah played the harlot while she was mine; and she longed for her lovers, for the Assyrians that were near her,
5 Prostituiu-se Oolá, quando era minha; inflamou-se pelos seus amantes, pelos assírios, seus vizinhos,
6 Clothed as they were in blue, governors, and rulers, attractive youths all of them, horsemen riding upon horses.
6 que se vestiam de azul, governadores e sátrapas, todos jovens de cobiçar, cavaleiros montados a cavalo.
7 Thus she played the harlot with them, all of them the chosen ones of the sons of Asshur: and with all for whom she longed,with all their idols did she defile herself.
7 Assim, cometeu ela as suas devassidões com eles, que eram todos a fina flor dos filhos da Assíria, e com todos aqueles pelos quais se inflamava; com todos os seus ídolos se contaminou.
8 But also her lewdness from Egypt forsook she not; for they had lain with her in her youth, and they had touched her virgin bosom, and had lavished their lewd caresses on her.
8 As suas impudicícias, que trouxe do Egito, não as deixou; porque com ela se deitaram na sua mocidade, e eles apalparam os seios da sua virgindade e derramaram sobre ela a sua impudicícia.
9 Therefore did I give her up into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the sons of Asshur, after whom she longed.
9 Por isso, a entreguei nas mãos dos seus amantes, nas mãos dos filhos da Assíria, pelos quais se inflamara.
10 These were they that laid open her nakedness; her sons and her daughters did they take away, and her they slew with the sword: and she became infamous among women, when they inflicted the decreed punishments on her.
10 Estes descobriram as vergonhas dela, levaram seus filhos e suas filhas; porém a ela mataram à espada; e ela se tornou falada entre as mulheres, e sobre ela executaram juízos.
11 And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she became more corrupt in her longing than she, and in her lewd acts more than her sisters lewdness.
11 Vendo isto sua irmã Oolibá, corrompeu a sua paixão mais do que ela, e as suas devassidões foram maiores do que as de sua irmã.
12 For the sons of Asshur did she long, the governors and rulers that were near, clothed as they were most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, attractive youths all of them.
12 Inflamou-se pelos filhos da Assíria, governadores e sátrapas, seus vizinhos, vestidos com primor, cavaleiros montados a cavalo, todos jovens de cobiçar.
13 Then saw I that she was defiled, that they followed both one way.
13 Vi que se tinha contaminado; o caminho de ambas era o mesmo.
14 But she added still more to her acts of lewdness; for when she saw men engraved upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with color,
14 Aumentou as suas impudicícias, porque viu homens pintados na parede, imagens dos caldeus, pintados de vermelho:
15 Bound with girdles on their loins, with hanging down colored turbans on their heads, in appearance like commanders, all of them, in the likeness of the sons of Babylon of the Chaldeans, the land of their birth:
15 de lombos cingidos e turbantes pendentes da cabeça, todos com aparência de oficiais, semelhantes aos filhos da Babilônia, na Caldeia, em terra do seu nascimento.
16 Then did she long for them as soon as she saw them with her eyes, and she sent messengers unto them to Chaldea.
16 Vendo-os, inflamou-se por eles e lhes mandou mensageiros à Caldeia.
17 And the sons of Babylon came to her unto the couch of love, and they defiled her with their lewd caresses; and yet when she had been defiled with them, she tore her soul away from them.
17 Então, vieram ter com ela os filhos da Babilônia, para o leito dos amores, e a contaminaram com as suas impudicícias; ela, após contaminar-se com eles, enojada, os deixou.
18 And when she had laid open her lewdness, and had uncovered her nakedness: then my soul tore itself away from her, as my soul had torn itself away from her sister.
18 Assim, tendo ela posto a descoberto as suas devassidões e sua nudez, a minha alma se alienou dela, como já se dera com respeito à sua irmã.
19 Yet she multiplied her deeds of lewdness, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, when she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
19 Ela, todavia, multiplicou as suas impudicícias, lembrando-se dos dias da sua mocidade, em que se prostituíra na terra do Egito.
20 And she longed for her paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose lustfulness is like the lustfulness of horses.
20 Inflamou-se pelos seus amantes, cujos membros eram como o de jumento e cujo fluxo é como o fluxo de cavalos.
21 And thou calledst to mind the incest of thy youth, when thy bosom was touched by the Egyptians for the sake of thy youthful breasts.
21 Assim, trouxeste à memória a luxúria da tua mocidade, quando os do Egito apalpavam os teus seios, os peitos da tua mocidade.
22 Therefore, O Aholibah, thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will wake up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul hath torn itself away, and I will bring them against thee from every side;
22 Por isso, ó Oolibá, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que eu suscitarei contra ti os teus amantes, os quais, enojada, tu os deixaras, e os trarei contra ti de todos os lados:
23 The sons of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa and Koa, and all the sons of Asshur with them, attractive youths, governors and rulers all of them, commanders and chiefs, riding upon horses all of them.
23 os filhos da Babilônia e todos os caldeus de Pecode, de Soa, de Coa e todos os filhos da Assíria com eles, jovens de cobiçar, governadores e sátrapas, príncipes e homens de renome, todos montados a cavalo.
24 And they shall come over thee with weapons, chariots, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, buckler and shield and helmet shall they set up against thee round about: and I will give up before them the right to judge, and they shall judge thee according to their ordinances.
24 Virão contra ti do Norte, com carros e carretas e com multidão de povos; pôr-se-ão contra ti em redor, com paveses, e escudos, e capacetes; e porei diante deles o juízo, e julgar-te-ão segundo os seus direitos.
25 And I will set my zealousness against thee, and they shall deal with thee in fury; thy nose and thy ears shall they cut off; and what is left of thee shall fall by the sword: thy sons and thy daughters shall they take away; and what is left of thee shall be devoured by the fire.
25 Porei contra ti o meu zelo, e eles te tratarão com furor; cortar-te-ão o nariz e as orelhas, e o que restar cairá à espada; levarão teus filhos e tuas filhas, e quem ainda te restar será consumido pelo fogo.
26 And they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy ornamental attire.
26 Despojar-te-ão dos teus vestidos e tomarão as tuas joias de adorno.
27 Thus will I make thy incest to cease from thee, and thy lewdness brought from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt not lift up thy eyes unto them, and Egypt shalt thou not remember any more.
27 Assim, farei cessar em ti a tua luxúria e a tua prostituição, provenientes da terra do Egito; não levantarás os olhos para eles e já não te lembrarás do Egito.
28 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will give thee up into the hand of those whom thou hatest, into the hand of those from whom thy soul hath torn itself away;
28 Porque assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que eu te entregarei nas mãos daqueles a quem aborreces, nas mãos daqueles que, enojada, tu deixaste.
29 And they shall deal with thee in hate, and shall take away all things acquired by thy labor, and they shall leave thee naked and bare: and thus shall be uncovered the nakedness of thy lewdness, and thy incest and thy lewd deeds.
29 Eles te tratarão com ódio, e levarão todo o fruto do teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida; descobrir-se-á a vergonha da tua prostituição, a tua luxúria e as tuas devassidões.
30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone with vile lust after the nations, because thou hast defiled thyself with their idols.
30 Estas coisas se te farão, porque te prostituíste com os gentios e te contaminaste com os seus ídolos.
31 On the way of thy sister hast thou walked; therefore will I place her cup into thy hand.
31 Andaste no caminho de tua irmã; por isso, entregarei o seu copo na tua mão.
32 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The cup of thy sister shalt thou drink, the deep and wide one: thou shalt become to be laughed to scorn and to be held in derision, more than thou canst bear.
32 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Beberás o copo de tua irmã, fundo e largo; servirás de riso e escárnio; pois nele cabe muito.
33 With drunkenness and sorrow shalt thou be filled, out of the cup of astonishment and confusion, the cup of thy sister Samaria.
33 Encher-te-ás de embriaguez e de dor; o copo de tua irmã Samaria é copo de espanto e de desolação.
34 Thou shalt even drink it and drain it out, and thou shalt break in pieces its fragments, and tear thy own breasts; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
34 Tu o beberás, e esgotá-lo-ás, e lhe roerás os cacos, e te rasgarás os peitos, pois eu o falei, diz o Senhor Deus.
35 Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back: therefore bear thou also thy incest and thy acts of lewdness.
35 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Como te esqueceste de mim e me viraste as costas, também carregarás com a tua luxúria e as tuas devassidões.
36 The Lord said moreover unto me, Son of man, wilt thou call Aholah and Aholibah to account? then tell them of their abominations;
36 Disse-me ainda o Senhor : Filho do homem, julgarás tu a Oolá e a Oolibá? Declara-lhes, pois, as suas abominações.
37 That they have committed adultery, and there is blood on their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and also their sons whom they had born unto me have they caused to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.
37 Porque adulteraram, e nas suas mãos há culpa de sangue; com seus ídolos adulteraram, e até os seus filhos, que me geraram, ofereceram a eles para serem consumidos pelo fogo.
38 Moreover this have they done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary on the same day, and my sabbaths have they profaned.
38 Ainda isto me fizeram: no mesmo dia contaminaram o meu santuário e profanaram os meus sábados.
39 And when they had slain their children to their idols, then came they into my sanctuary on the same day to profane it: and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.
39 Pois, havendo sacrificado seus filhos aos ídolos, vieram, no mesmo dia, ao meu santuário para o profanarem; e assim o fizeram no meio da minha casa.
40 And farthermore yet, because they sent for men who were to come from afar, unto whom messengers were sent; and, lo, they came, for whom thou didst bathe thyself, paint thy eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments;
40 E mais ainda: mandaram vir uns homens de longe; fora-lhes enviado um mensageiro, e eis que vieram; por amor deles, te banhaste, coloriste os olhos e te ornaste de enfeites;
41 And thou didst sit upon a stately bed, with a table spread before it, and my incense and my oil didst thou set upon it.
41 e te assentaste num suntuoso leito, diante do qual se achava mesa preparada, sobre que puseste o meu incenso e o meu óleo.
42 And the shout of a peaceful joyous multitude was heard within her; and with the men of the masses of the common people were brought Sabeans from the wilderness; and these women placed bracelets on their hands, and crowns of glory upon their heads.
42 Com ela se ouvia a voz de muita gente que folgava; com homens de classe baixa foram trazidos do deserto uns bêbados, que puseram braceletes nas mãos delas e, na cabeça, coroas formosas.
43 Then thought I of her that was worn out in adulteries, Will they now still commit lewdness with her, when she is thus?
43 Então, disse eu da envelhecida em adultérios: continuará ela em suas prostituições?
44 But men went in unto her, as they go in unto a faithless wife: thus went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the incestuous women.
44 E passaram a estar com ela, como quem frequenta a uma prostituta; assim, passaram a frequentar a Oolá e a Oolibá, mulheres depravadas,
45 Righteous men, howeverthese shall judge them as adulteresses are judged, and as women that shed blood are judged; because adulteresses are they, and blood is on their hands.
45 de maneira que homens justos as julgarão como se julgam as adúlteras e as sanguinárias; porque são adúlteras, e, nas suas mãos, há culpa de sangue.
46 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will bring up against them an assemblage of men, and I will give them up to illusage and plunder.
46 Pois assim diz o Senhor Deus: Farei subir contra elas grande multidão e as entregarei ao tumulto e ao saque.
47 And the assemblage shall stone them with stones, and cut them down with their swords: their sons and their daughters shall they slay, and their houses shall they burn with fire.
47 A multidão as apedrejará e as golpeará com as suas espadas; a seus filhos e suas filhas matarão e as suas casas queimarão.
48 Thus will I cause incest to cease out of the land, that all women may be warned by example, and not do after your incestuous course.
48 Assim, farei cessar a luxúria da terra, para que se escarmentem todas as mulheres e não façam segundo a luxúria delas.
49 And they shall lay your incest upon you, and the sins of your idols shall ye bear: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Eternal.
49 O castigo da vossa luxúria recairá sobre vós, e levareis os pecados dos vossos ídolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Deus.
