1 And the
1 Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the
2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
3 Não fareis segundo as obras da terra do Egito, em que habitastes, nem fareis segundo as obras da terra de Canaã, para a qual vos levo, nem andareis nos seus estatutos.
4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I
4 Fareis conforme os meus juízos, e os meus estatutos guardareis, para andardes neles. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I
5 Portanto, os meus estatutos e os meus juízos guardareis; os quais, observando-os o homem, viverá por eles. Eu sou o Senhor.
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover
6 Nenhum homem se chegará a qualquer parenta da sua carne, para descobrir a sua nudez. Eu sou o Senhor.
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she
7 Não descobrirás a nudez de teu pai e de tua mãe: ela é tua mãe; não descobrirás a sua nudez.
8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it
8 Não descobrirás a nudez da mulher de teu pai; é nudez de teu pai.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother,
9 A nudez da tua irmã, filha de teu pai, ou filha de tua mãe, nascida em casa, ou fora de casa, a sua nudez não descobrirás.
10 The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter,
10 A nudez da filha do teu filho, ou da filha de tua filha, a sua nudez não descobrirás; porque é tua nudez.
11 The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she
11 A nudez da filha da mulher de teu pai, gerada de teu pai (ela é tua irmã), a sua nudez não descobrirás.
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she
12 A nudez da irmã de teu pai não descobrirás; ela é parenta de teu pai.
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she
13 A nudez da irmã de tua mãe não descobrirás; pois ela é parenta de tua mãe.
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she
14 A nudez do irmão de teu pai não descobrirás; não te chegarás à sua mulher; ela é tua tia.
15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she
15 A nudez de tua nora não descobrirás: ela é mulher de teu filho; não descobrirás a sua nudez.
16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it
16 A nudez da mulher de teu irmão não descobrirás; é a nudez de teu irmão.
17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness;
17 A nudez de uma mulher e de sua filha não descobrirás; não tomarás a filha de seu filho, nem a filha de sua filha, para descobrir a sua nudez; parentas são; maldade é.
18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex
18 E não tomarás uma mulher juntamente com sua irmã, para fazê-la sua rival, descobrindo a sua nudez diante dela em sua vida.
19 Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
19 E não chegarás à mulher durante a separação da sua imundícia, para descobrir a sua nudez,
20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
20 Nem te deitarás com a mulher de teu próximo para cópula, para te contaminares com ela.
21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through
21 E da tua descendência não darás nenhum para fazer passar pelo fogo perante Moloque; e não profanarás o nome de teu Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it
22 Com homem não te deitarás, como se fosse mulher; abominação é;
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it
23 Nem te deitarás com um animal, para te contaminares com ele; nem a mulher se porá perante um animal, para ajuntar-se com ele; confusão é.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
24 Com nenhuma destas coisas vos contamineis; porque com todas estas coisas se contaminaram as nações que eu expulso de diante de vós.
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
25 Por isso a terra está contaminada; e eu visito a sua iniqüidade, e a terra vomita os seus moradores.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit
26 Porém vós guardareis os meus estatutos e os meus juízos, e nenhuma destas abominações fareis, nem o natural, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós;
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which
27 Porque todas estas abominações fizeram os homens desta terra, que nela estavam antes de vós; e a terra foi contaminada.
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that
28 Para que a terra não vos vomite, havendo-a contaminado, como vomitou a nação que nela estava antes de vós.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit
29 Porém, qualquer que fizer alguma destas abominações, sim, aqueles que as fizerem serão extirpados do seu povo.
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that
30 Portanto guardareis o meu mandamento, não fazendo nenhuma das práticas abomináveis que se fizeram antes de vós, e não vos contamineis com elas. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.
