Zacarias 9
English Jubilee 2000 Bible (JUBL2000) vs NTLH
1 The burden of the word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach and of Damascus, his rest, because the eyes of the men and of all the tribes of Israel [are turned] toward the LORD.
1 Esta é a mensagem de Deus, o Senhor : ele anuncia que a terra de Hadraque e a cidade de Damasco serão castigadas. Tanto as cidades da Síria como as tribos de Israel são do Senhor .
2 And Hamath also shall come to an end in her; Tyre, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
2 A cidade de Hamate, que fica perto daquelas cidades, também é do Senhor , e as cidades de Tiro e de Sidom, com toda a sua cultura, também são dele.
3 And Tyre built herself a stronghold and heaped up silver as the dust and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
3 O povo de Tiro construiu fortalezas para se proteger e amontoou tanta prata como se fosse pó e tanto ouro como se fosse lama.
4 Behold, the Lord will impoverish her, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
4 Mas o Senhor vai levar tudo embora; ele jogará no mar as riquezas de Tiro, e a cidade será destruída por um incêndio.
5 Ashkelon shall see [it] and fear; Gaza also [shall see it] and be very sorrowful, and Ekron for her hope shall be confounded; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
5 Quando os moradores da cidade de Asquelom souberem disso, ficarão com medo. O povo de Gaza também vai sofrer muito, e o povo de Ecrom perderá toda a esperança. O rei de Gaza morrerá, e Asquelom ficará sem moradores.
6 And a stranger shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
6 Mestiços morarão em Asdode. O — Eu vou humilhar esses filisteus orgulhosos.
7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth, but some of them shall remain for our God, and they shall be as captains in Judah, and Ekron as the Jebusite.
7 Não vou deixar que comam carne com sangue nem qualquer outra comida impura . Os que sobrarem desse povo serão meus e farão parte da tribo de Judá. Os moradores de Ecrom também farão parte do meu povo, como aconteceu com os jebuseus .
8 And I will be the defence and firm support to my house from him that comes and goes; and no oppressor shall pass through them any more, for now I have seen with my eyes.
8 Vou defender o meu povo dos seus inimigos e não vou deixar que os exércitos deles invadam a minha terra. Nunca mais haverá um chefe cruel dominando o meu povo, pois eu tenho visto como tem sofrido.
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; [shout with] joy, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, thy King shall come unto thee: just, and a saviour; humble, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.
9 Alegre-se muito, povo de Sião ! Moradores de Jerusalém, cantem de alegria, pois o seu rei está chegando. Ele vem triunfante e vitorioso; mas é humilde, e está montado num jumento, num jumentinho, filho de jumenta.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be broken and he shall speak peace unto the Gentiles; and his dominion [shall be] from sea [even] to sea, and from the river [even] to the ends of the earth.
10 Ele acabará com os carros de guerra de Israel e com a cavalaria de Jerusalém; os arcos e as flechas serão destruídos. Ele fará com que as nações vivam em paz; o seu reino irá de um mar a outro, e desde o rio Eufrates até os fins da terra.
11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have taken thy prisoners out of the pit in which [there is] no water.
11 O Senhor Deus diz: “Moradores de Jerusalém, eu fiz uma que foi Por isso, vou tirar o seu povo do daquele poço sem água.
12 Return to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope; even today I declare [that] I will render double unto thee;
12 Prisioneiros, voltem para a sua fortaleza; voltem todos os que ainda têm esperança. Pois vou lhes dar duas vezes mais bênçãos do que os castigos que vocês receberam.
13 for I have bent Judah for me [as a] bow, and I made Ephraim his arrow, and I will raise up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and make thee as the sword of a mighty man.
13 Vou usar Judá como arco de guerra, e o povo de Israel será as flechas. Os homens de Jerusalém serão a minha espada, e com ela vou fazer guerra contra a Grécia.”
14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the shofar and shall go forth as [the] whirlwinds of the south.
14 O Senhor aparecerá sobre o seu povo e atirará as suas flechas como se fossem relâmpagos. O e avançará no meio das tempestades do Sul.
15 The LORD of the hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink [and] make a noise as though [drunk] with wine; and they shall be filled like bowls [and] as the corners of the altar.
15 O Senhor Todo-Poderoso protegerá o seu povo; eles derrotarão os soldados inimigos e destruirão as suas armas; beberão o sangue dos inimigos como se fosse vinho e ficarão cheios como uma taça de vinho quando é derramado em cima do altar.
16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as a flock of his people, for they [shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
16 Naquele dia, o Senhor salvará o seu povo como um pastor salva as suas ovelhas; eles brilharão no seu país como pedras preciosas numa coroa.
17 For how great [is] his goodness, and how great [is] his beauty! The wheat shall make the young men cheerful, and the wine the maids.:
17 Como será bom e belo esse país! Haverá trigo e vinho com fartura, e os moços e as moças crescerão fortes e bonitos.
