¹ The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad [thereof].

¹ O Senhor reina, regozije-se a terra; alegrem-se as numerosas ilhas.

² Clouds and darkness [are] round about him; righteousness and judgment [are] the seat of his throne.

² Nuvens e escuridão estão ao redor dele; justiça e eqüidade são a base do seu trono.

³ A fire shall go before him and burn up his enemies round about.

³ Adiante dele vai um fogo que abrasa os seus inimigos em redor.

⁴ His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw and trembled.

⁴ Os seus relâmpagos alumiam o mundo; a terra os vê e treme.

⁵ The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁵ Os montes, como cerca, se derretem na presença do Senhor, na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.

⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.

⁶ Os céus anunciam a sua justiça, e todos os povos vêem a sua glória.

⁷ Let all those that serve graven images be confounded, those that boast of idols; worship him, all [ye] gods.

⁷ Confundidos são todos os que servem imagens esculpidas, que se gloriam de ídolos; prostrai-vos diante dele, todos os deuses.

⁸ Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

⁸ Sião ouve e se alegra, e regozijam-se as filhas de Judá por causa dos teus juízos, Senhor.

⁹ For thou, O LORD, [art] high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

⁹ Pois tu, Senhor, és o Altíssimo sobre toda a terra; tu és sobremodo exaltado acima de todos os deuses.

¹⁰ Ye that love the LORD [are to] hate evil; he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹⁰ O Senhor ama aos que odeiam o mal; ele preserva as almas dos seus santos, ele os livra das mãos dos ímpios.

¹¹ Light is sown for the righteous and gladness for the upright in heart.

¹¹ A luz é semeada para o justo, e a alegria para os retos de coração.

¹² Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.:

¹² Alegrai-vos, ó justos, no Senhor, e rendei graças ao seu santo nome.
