¹ Ouve, ó Deus, o meu clamor; atende à minha oração.

² From the end of the earth I will cry unto thee when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I.

² Desde o fim da terra clamo a ti, por estar abatido o meu coração. Leva-me para a rocha que é mais alta do que eu,

³ For thou hast been a shelter for me [and] a strong tower from the enemy.

³ pois tens sido o meu refúgio e uma torre forte contra o inimigo.

⁴ I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever; I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

⁴ Habitarei no teu tabernáculo para sempre; abrigar-me-ei no oculto das tuas asas. (Selá)

⁵ For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given an inheritance to those that fear thy name.

⁵ Pois tu, ó Deus, ouviste os meus votos; deste- me a herança dos que temem o teu nome.

⁶ Thou wilt add days upon days unto the king's [life]; his years [shall be] from generation to generation.

⁶ Prolongarás os dias do rei; e os seus anos serão como muitas gerações.

⁷ He shall abide before God for ever; He is aware of mercy and truth [which] preserve him.

⁷ Ele permanecerá diante de Deus para sempre; prepara- lhe misericórdia e verdade que o preservem.

⁸ So I will sing thy name for ever, performing my vows each day.:

⁸ Assim, cantarei salmos ao teu nome perpetuamente, para pagar os meus votos de dia em dia.
