¹ Deus é o nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem-presente nas tribulações.

² Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,

² Portanto, não temeremos ainda que a terra se transtorne e os montes se abalem no seio dos mares;

³ [though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the violence thereof. Selah.

³ ainda que as águas tumultuem e espumejem e na sua fúria os montes se estremeçam.

⁴ [There is] a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the tents of the most High.

⁴ Há um rio, cujas correntes alegram a cidade de Deus, o santuário das moradas do Altíssimo.

⁵ God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her, as the morning dawns.

⁵ Deus está no meio dela; jamais será abalada; Deus a ajudará desde antemanhã.

⁶ The Gentiles raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

⁶ Bramam nações, reinos se abalam; ele faz ouvir a sua voz, e a terra se dissolve.

⁷ The LORD of the hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah.

⁷ O Senhor dos Exércitos está conosco; o Deus de Jacó é o nosso refúgio.

⁸ Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he has made in the earth.

⁸ Vinde, contemplai as obras do Senhor , que assolações efetuou na terra.

⁹ He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire.

⁹ Ele põe termo à guerra até aos confins do mundo, quebra o arco e despedaça a lança; queima os carros no fogo.

¹⁰ Be still, and know that I [am] God; I will be exalted in the Gentiles, I will be exalted in the earth.

¹⁰ Aquietai-vos e sabei que eu sou Deus; sou exaltado entre as nações, sou exaltado na terra.

¹¹ The LORD of the hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah.:
