¹ Senhor, como se têm multiplicado os meus adversários! Muitos se levantam contra mim.

² [There are] many who say of my soul, [There] is no help for him in God. Selah.

² Muitos são os que dizem de mim: Não há socorro para ele em Deus.

³ But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory and the lifter up of my head.

³ Mas tu, Senhor, és um escudo ao redor de mim, a minha glória, e aquele que exulta a minha cabeça.

⁴ I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and [he] answered me out of the mountain of his holiness. Selah.

⁴ Com a minha voz clamo ao Senhor, e ele do seu santo monte me responde.

⁵ I laid me down and slept; I awaked, for the LORD sustained me.

⁵ Eu me deito e durmo; acordo, pois o Senhor me sustenta.

⁶ I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people that have set [themselves] against me round about.

⁶ Não tenho medo dos dez milhares de pessoas que se puseram contra mim ao meu redor.

⁷ Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God, for thou hast smitten all mine enemies [upon] the jawbone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

⁷ Levanta-te, Senhor! salva-me, Deus meu! pois tu feres no queixo todos os meus inimigos; quebras os dentes aos ímpios.

⁸ Salvation [belongs] unto the LORD; thy blessing [shall be] upon thy people. Selah.:

⁸ A salvação vem do Senhor; sobre o teu povo seja a tua bênção.
