1 Senhor , a ti clamo! Escuta-me! Inclina os teus ouvidos à minha voz, quando a ti clamar.
2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee [as] incense, the gift of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice.
2 Suba a minha oração perante a tua face como incenso, e seja o levantar das minhas mãos como o sacrifício da tarde.
3 Set a watch, O LORD, upon my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
3 Põe, ó Senhor , uma guarda à minha boca; guarda a porta dos meus lábios.
4 Incline not my heart to [any] evil thing, to do works with ungodliness with the men that work iniquity, and let me not eat of their dainties.
4 Não inclines o meu coração para o mal, nem para se ocupar de coisas más com aqueles que praticam a iniquidade; e não coma eu das suas delícias.
5 Let the righteous smite me in mercy, and let him reprove me: and let not [a] flattering [evil] prince anoint my head, for my prayer [shall] ever [be] against his evil.
5 Fira-me o justo, será isso uma benignidade; e repreenda-me, será um excelente óleo, que a minha cabeça não rejeitará; porque continuarei a orar a despeito das maldades deles.
6 Their judges shall be thrown down from strong places; they shall hearken unto my words; for they are sweet.
6 Quando os seus juízes forem arremessados da rocha, ouvirão as minhas palavras, pois são agradáveis.
7 Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol, as when one cuts and cleaves [wood] upon the earth.
7 Como quando alguém lavra e sulca a terra, são os nossos ossos espalhados à boca da sepultura.
8 Therefore mine eyes [look] unto thee, O GOD the Lord; in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
8 Mas os meus olhos te contemplam, ó Deus, Senhor ; em ti confio; não desampares a minha alma.
9 Keep me from the hands of the snare [which] they have laid for me, and from the snares of the workers of iniquity.
9 Guarda-me dos laços que me armaram; e dos laços corrediços dos que praticam a iniquidade.
10 Let the wicked fall together into their own nets, whilst I pass on [ahead] forever.:
10 Caiam os ímpios nas suas próprias redes, até que eu tenha escapado inteiramente.
