1 Salmo de Davi. Eis o oráculo do Senhor que se dirige a meu senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu faça de teus inimigos o escabelo de teus pés.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion; rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
2 O Senhor estenderá desde Sião teu cetro poderoso: Dominarás, disse ele, até no meio de teus inimigos.
3 Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauty of holiness; [as] the dew [which falls] from the womb of the morning, thus shall those who are thine be born unto thee.
3 No dia de teu nascimento, já possuis a realeza no esplendor da santidade; semelhante ao orvalho, eu te gerei antes da aurora.
4 The LORD has sworn and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
4 O Senhor jurou e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedec.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall smite the kings in the day of his wrath.
5 O Senhor está à tua direita: ele destruirá os reis no dia de sua cólera.
6 He shall judge among the Gentiles; he shall fill their [places] with [dead] bodies; he shall wound the head over much [of the] earth.
6 Julgará os povos pagãos, empilhará cadáveres; por toda a terra esmagará cabeças.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore he shall lift up [his] head.:
7 Beberá da torrente no caminho; por isso, erguerá a sua fronte.
