1 Disse o Senhor ao meu senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos debaixo dos teus pés.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion; rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
2 O Senhor enviará de Sião o cetro do seu poder, dizendo: Domina entre os teus inimigos.
3 Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauty of holiness; [as] the dew [which falls] from the womb of the morning, thus shall those who are thine be born unto thee.
3 Apresentar-se-á voluntariamente o teu povo, no dia do teu poder; com santos ornamentos, como o orvalho emergindo da aurora, serão os teus jovens.
4 The LORD has sworn and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
4 O Senhor jurou e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall smite the kings in the day of his wrath.
5 O Senhor, à tua direita, no dia da sua ira, esmagará os reis.
6 He shall judge among the Gentiles; he shall fill their [places] with [dead] bodies; he shall wound the head over much [of the] earth.
6 Ele julga entre as nações; enche-as de cadáveres; esmagará cabeças por toda a terra.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore he shall lift up [his] head.:
7 De caminho, bebe na torrente e passa de cabeça erguida.
