¹ In Judah is God known; His name is great in Israel.

¹ Conhecido é Deus em Judá, grande é o seu nome em Israel.

² In Salem also is set His tabernacle, and His dwelling-place in Zion.

³ There He broke the fiery shafts of the bow; the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah

³ Ali quebrou ele as flechas do arco, o escudo, a espada, e a guerra.

⁴ Glorious art Thou and excellent, coming down from the mountains of prey.

⁴ Glorioso és tu, mais majestoso do que os montes eternos.

⁵ The stout-hearted are bereft of sense, they sleep their sleep; and none of the men of might have found their hands.

⁵ Os ousados de coração foram despojados; dormiram o seu último sono; nenhum dos homens de força pôde usar as mãos.

⁶ At Thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, they are cast into a dead sleep, the riders also and the horses.

⁶ À tua repreensão, ó Deus de Jacó, cavaleiros e cavalos ficaram estirados sem sentidos.

⁷ Thou, even Thou, art terrible; and who may stand in Thy sight when once Thou art angry?

⁷ Tu, sim, tu és tremendo; e quem subsistirá à tua vista, quando te irares?

⁸ Thou didst cause sentence to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

⁸ Desde o céu fizeste ouvir o teu juízo; a terra tremeu e se aquietou,

⁹ When God arose to judgment, to save all the humble of the earth. Selah

⁹ quando Deus se levantou para julgar, para salvar a todos os mansos da terra.

¹⁰ Surely the wrath of man shall praise Thee; the residue of wrath shalt Thou gird upon Thee.

¹⁰ Na verdade a cólera do homem redundará em teu louvor, e do restante da cólera tu te cingirás.

¹¹ Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God; let all that are round about Him bring presents unto Him that is to be feared;

¹¹ Fazei votos, e pagai-os ao Senhor, vosso Deus; tragam presentes, os que estão em redor dele, àquele que deve ser temido.

¹² He minisheth the spirit of princes; He is terrible to the kings of the earth.

¹² Ele ceifará o espírito dos príncipes; é tremendo para com os reis da terra.
