1 A Song of Ascents. Happy is every one that feareth the LORD, that walketh in His ways.
1 Bem-aventurado aquele que teme ao Senhor e anda nos seus caminhos!
2 When thou eatest the labour of thy hands, happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
2 Do trabalho de tuas mãos comerás, feliz serás, e tudo te irá bem.
3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thy house; thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.
3 Tua esposa, no interior de tua casa, será como a videira frutífera; teus filhos, como rebentos da oliveira, à roda da tua mesa.
4 Behold, surely thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
4 Eis como será abençoado o homem que teme ao
5 The LORD bless thee out of Zion; and see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life;
5 O Senhor te abençoe desde Sião, para que vejas a prosperidade de Jerusalém durante os dias de tua vida,
6 And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!
