1 イエスはもう一度たとえをもって彼らに話された。
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 「天の御国は、王子のために結婚の披露宴を設けた王にたとえることができます。
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 王は、招待しておいたお客を呼びに、しもべたちを遣わしたが、彼らは来たがらなかった。
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 それで、もう一度、次のように言いつけて、別のしもべたちを遣わした。『お客に招いておいた人たちにこう言いなさい。「さあ、食事の用意ができました。雄牛も太った家畜もほふって、何もかも整いました。どうぞ宴会にお出かけください。」』
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 ところが、彼らは気にもかけず、ある者は畑に、別の者は商売に出て行き、
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 そのほかの者たちは、王のしもべたちをつかまえて恥をかかせ、そして殺してしまった。
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 王は怒って、兵隊を出して、その人殺しどもを滅ぼし、彼らの町を焼き払った。
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 そのとき、王はしもべたちに言った。『宴会の用意はできているが、招待しておいた人たちは、それにふさわしくなかった。
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 だから、大通りに行って、出会った者をみな宴会に招きなさい。』
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 それで、しもべたちは、通りに出て行って、良い人でも悪い人でも出会った者をみな集めたので、宴会場は客でいっぱいになった。
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ところで、王が客を見ようとしてはいって来ると、そこに婚礼の礼服を着ていない者がひとりいた。
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 そこで、王は言った。『あなたは、どうして礼服を着ないで、ここにはいって来たのですか。』しかし、彼は黙っていた。
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 そこで、王はしもべたちに、『あれの手足を縛って、外の暗やみに放り出せ。そこで泣いて歯ぎしりするのだ。』と言った。
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 招待される者は多いが、選ばれる者は少ないのです。」
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 そのころ、パリサイ人たちは出て来て、どのようにイエスをことばのわなにかけようかと相談した。

16 彼らはその弟子たちを、ヘロデ党の者たちといっしょにイエスのもとにやって、こう言わせた。「先生。私たちは、あなたが真実な方で、真理に基づいて神の道を教え、だれをもはばからない方だと存じています。あなたは、人の顔色を見られないからです。
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 それで、どう思われるのか言ってください。税金をカイザルに納めることは、律法にかなっていることでしょうか。かなっていないことでしょうか。」
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 イエスは彼らの悪意を知って言われた。「偽善者たち。なぜ、わたしをためすのか。
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 納め金にするお金をわたしに見せなさい。」そこで彼らは、デナリを一枚イエスのもとに持って来た。
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 そこで彼らに言われた。「これは、だれの肖像ですか。だれの銘ですか。」
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 彼らは、「カイザルのです。」と言った。そこで、イエスは言われた。「それなら、カイザルのものはカイザルに返しなさい。そして神のものは神に返しなさい。」
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 彼らは、これを聞いて驚嘆し、イエスを残して立ち去った。
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 その日、復活はないと言っているサドカイ人たちが、イエスのところに来て、質問して、

24 言った。「先生。モーセは『もし、ある人が子のないままで死んだなら、その弟は兄の妻をめとって、兄のための子をもうけねばならない。』と言いました。
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ところで、私たちの間に七人兄弟がありました。長男は結婚しましたが、死んで、子がなかったので、その妻を弟に残しました。
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 次男も三男も、七人とも同じようになりました。
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 そして、最後に、その女も死にました。
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 すると復活の際には、その女は七人のうちだれの妻なのでしょうか。彼らはみな、その女を妻にしたのです。」
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 しかし、イエスは彼らに答えて言われた。「そんな思い違いをしているのは、聖書も神の力も知らないからです。
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 復活の時には、人はめとることも、とつぐこともなく、天の御使いたちのようです。
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 それに、死人の復活については、神があなたがたに語られた事を、あなたがたは読んだことがないのですか。
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 『わたしは、アブラハムの神、イサクの神、ヤコブの神である。』とあります。神は死んだ者の神ではありません。生きている者の神です。」
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 群衆はこれを聞いて、イエスの教えに驚いた。
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 しかし、パリサイ人たちは、イエスがサドカイ人たちを黙らせたと聞いて、いっしょに集まった。
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 そして、彼らのうちのひとりの律法の専門家が、イエスをためそうとして、尋ねた。
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 「先生。律法の中で、たいせつな戒めはどれですか。」
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 そこで、イエスは彼に言われた。「『心を尽くし、思いを尽くし、知力を尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛せよ。』
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 これがたいせつな第一の戒めです。
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 『あなたの隣人をあなた自身のように愛せよ。』という第二の戒めも、それと同じようにたいせつです。
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 律法全体と預言者とが、この二つの戒めにかかっているのです。」
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 パリサイ人たちが集まっているときに、イエスは彼らに尋ねて言われた。
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 「あなたがたは、キリストについて、どう思いますか。彼はだれの子ですか。」彼らはイエスに言った。「ダビデの子です。」
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 イエスは彼らに言われた。「それでは、どうしてダビデは、御霊によって、彼を主と呼び、
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 『主は私の主に言われた。
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ダビデがキリストを主と呼んでいるのなら、どうして彼はダビデの子なのでしょう。」
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 それで、だれもイエスに一言も答えることができなかった。また、その日以来、もはやだれも、イエスにあえて質問をする者はなかった。
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
