2 “Ẹka Chileke bụ eze bẹ dụepho g'onye eze lanụ, shiru nwa iya nri ekele nwanyị;
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 bya ezia ndu-ozi iya g'ẹphe je ekua ndu e ziru lẹ nri ekele nwanyị ọbu; ọphu ndu ono ekwedu abyabya.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Ọ byakwa ezia ndu-ozi iya ọzo bya asụ phẹ: ‘Unu sụ ndu e ziru lẹ nri-a lẹ mu shiakwaru nri ọbu; lẹ mu gbushikwaru oke-eswi mu; mẹ okiri mu gude shia ya; lẹ mu tụkoakwaru iphemiphe dozichaa kwabẹ; g'ẹphe byawarọ lẹ nri ekele nwanyị ọbu.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ndu ono, e ziru lẹ nri ono paẹl'iya-a ẹka lanụ; ọ bụru phẹ eje iphe, heru phẹ nụ. Onye ejeshia l'ẹgu iya; onye ejeshia ere aswa iya.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Tẹme ndu ọphuu tsụkobeekwapho gude ndu ono, onye eze ziru ozi ono mee phẹ iphe-iphere woru phẹ gbushia.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Eze ono nụmaepho iphe, meru nụ; ẹhu ghua ya ntụmatu. Ọ bya ezia ndu ojọgu iya; ẹphe je emegbushia ndu ono egbuje nemadzụ ono bya atụa ọku lẹ mkpụkpu phẹ; ọku tsufu iya.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Tẹme ọ gbẹ teke ono bya asụ ndu-ozi iya: ‘Nta bẹ e shiẹbechaaru nri ekele nwanyị; ọphu ndu e ziru lẹ nri ọbu agbadụru k'eriri iya.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ngwa; unu lụfu l'ọma eze gbororo; iphe, bụkpoo ndu unu hụmaru g'ẹphe ahahabẹ l'ọtu; unu rwuta phẹ bya lẹ nri ekele nwanyị ọbu.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ndu ozi ono bya awụfu l'ọma eze gbororo je atụkokpoepho ndu ẹphe hụmaru chịta; ndu ọma mẹ ndu ẹjo-iphe. A bya anọ-jia ụlo nri ekele nwanyị ọbu.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “O be teke eze bataru g'ọ hụma ndu byaru lẹ nri ọbu; ọ hụma nwoke, eyeduru uwe ekele nwanyị.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Ọ sụ iya: ‘Ishikomu; ?dẹnu g'i shiru bata l'ime ẹka-a; l'ẹbe abụ l'i yeru uwe ekele nwanyị?’ Ọphu nwoke ono amadụ iphe, oo-pfu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Onye eze ono sụ ndu-ozi iya: ‘Ngwa; unu kee ya ẹgbu l'ọkpa yẹe ẹka parụ je echie lẹ tsụkiribaa etezi. Ẹka ono bẹ nemadzụ a-nọdu kwaa ẹjo ẹkwa; taa ikireze.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “Kẹle ndu e kuru dụkwa igwerigwe; ọle ndu a họtaru habe ahabe.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Ndu Fárisii tụgbuepho je achịa idzu g'ẹphe e-shi gude opfu, Jizọsu epfu nmata iya.
15 — ausente —
16 Ẹphe bya eduru ndu etsoje phẹ nụ mẹ ndu kẹ Herọdu ye g'ẹphe jepfu iya je asụ iya: “O-zì-iphe; anyi maru l'ị bụ onye ire-lanụ; tẹme i gude ire-lanụ ezi ụzo Chileke; ọphu ọ dụdu onye ịitsu ebvu. Ọphu ọ dụdu onye iile ẹnya l'iphu.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Sụ-a; yeẹshikwaru anyi ọnu l'opfu-a. ?Dẹnu g'ọ dụkpoo ngu? ?Ọ bụ emebyi ekemu Chileke mẹ anyi -tụje akịriko nụ eze nnajịoha, nọ lẹ Romu?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Jizọsu maẹrupho ẹjo-iphe, nọ phẹ l'ọkpoma bya asụ phẹ: “?Bụ gụnu meru g'o gude unu gbabẹru mu ọ́nyà opfu; unubẹ tụko-l'ẹhu-atụko-l'obu-a?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Unu goshiẹshikwa mu okpoga, eegudeje atụ akịriko ọbu.”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ọ sụ phẹ: “?Bụ ishi onye yẹle ẹpha onye bụ ọwa-a, e deru iya-a?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ẹphe sụ iya: “Ọo kẹ Siza!”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ẹphe nụma iya; ọ dụ phẹ biribiri. Ẹphe parụ iya haa; ọ bụru phẹ atụgbu.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Lẹ mbọku ono kwaphọ ndu Sadusii, bụ ndu sụru l'e tee shidu l'ọnwu eteta adzụru ndzụ; byapfuta Jizọsu bya asụ iya:
23 — ausente —
24 “O-zì-iphe; iphe, Mósisu deru l'ẹkwo ekemu bụ; teke nwoke lụnyaaru nwanyị bya anwụhu; ọphu ọ nwụtaduru nwa; gẹ nwune iya lụpyabe nyee ya ono g'ọ nwụtaru onye ọphuu, nwụhuru anwụhu phọ nwa.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Sụ-a; ọ dụru unwune ẹsaa, shi buru l'echilabọ anyi. K'ọgerenya lụchaa nwanyị; ọnwu woru iya gbua; l'ẹbe ọ tọgbo mẹ akọ lẹ mgboko. Ọ parụ nyee ya ọbu haarụ nwune iya.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Onye k'ẹbo, bụ otsota bya alụpyabe nwanyị ono; bya anọnyakwaapho nwụhu; l'ẹbe atọgbo akọ; onye k'ẹto nno phọ; jasụ l'onye k'ẹsaa.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 G'ẹphe ha nwụshihubebeepho tẹme nwanyị gbẹ teke ono bya anwụhu nkiya.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 O -rwua teke ee-shi l'ọnwu teta dzụru ndzụ; ?bụ onye ole bẹ nwanyị ono a-bụru nyee ya; g'ẹphe n'ẹsaa lụchaaru iya-a?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Tọbudu iya bụ; Jizọsu sụ phẹ: “Unu eshisweje iya; kẹle ẹkwo-opfu Chileke te edoduru unu ẹnya; ọphu ọ bụro kẹ g'ike Chileke habe shii.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Kẹle teke ndu nwụhuru anwụhu e-shi l'ọnwu teta dzụru ndzụ bẹ nwoke taa lụhedu nwanyị; ọphu nwanyị alụhedu ji. Ẹphe a-dụ g'ụnwu-ojozi-imigwe.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 A -bya lẹ k'eshi l'ọnwu teta dzụru ndzụ; ?unu ta agụjedu iphe, Chileke pfuru nụ unu l'onwiya sụ:
35 A nọnyaa; onye lanụ l'ime phẹ, bụ onye ezije ekemu meahaa g'ọ gbabẹ ọ́nyà opfu gude nmata Jizọsu; bya asụ iya:
39 Ọphu tsotaru iya nụ, dụhukwapho g'ono bụ: ‘Yee nemadzụ ibe ngu obu g'i yeru onwongu.’
40 Ọo l'ekemu labọ-a bẹ iphe, bụkota ekemu g'ọ ha yẹe iphe, ndu mpfuchiru Chileke deru l'ẹkwo tụkoru g'ọ ha kpakọo.”
