¹ A Psalme of David. Judge me, O Lord, for I haue walked in mine innocency: my trust hath bene also in the Lord: therefore shall I not slide.

¹ Julga-me, SENHOR, pois tenho andado em minha sinceridade; tenho confiado também no SENHOR; não vacilarei.

² Proue me, O Lord, and trie mee: examine my reines, and mine heart.

² Examina-me, Senhor, e prova-me; esquadrinha os meus rins e o meu coração.

³ For thy louing kindnesse is before mine eyes: therefore haue I walked in thy trueth.

³ Porque a tua benignidade está diante dos meus olhos; e tenho andado na tua verdade.

⁴ I haue not hanted with vaine persons, neither kept companie with the dissemblers.

⁴ Não me tenho assentado com homens vãos, nem converso com os homens dissimulados.

⁵ I haue hated the assemblie of the euill, and haue not companied with the wicked.

⁵ Tenho odiado a congregação de malfeitores; nem me ajunto com os ímpios.

⁶ I will wash mine handes in innocencie, O Lord, and compasse thine altar,

⁶ Lavo as minhas mãos na inocência; e assim andarei, Senhor, ao redor do teu altar.

⁷ That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.

⁷ Para publicar com voz de louvor, e contar todas as tuas maravilhas.

⁸ O Lord, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

⁸ Senhor, eu tenho amado a habitação da tua casa e o lugar onde permanece a tua glória.

⁹ Gather not my soule with the sinners, nor my life with the bloodie men:

⁹ Não apanhes a minha alma com os pecadores, nem a minha vida com os homens sanguinolentos,

¹⁰ In whose handes is wickednes, and their right hand is full of bribes.

¹⁰ Em cujas mãos há malefício, e cuja mão direita está cheia de subornos.

¹¹ But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.

¹¹ Mas eu ando na minha sinceridade; livra-me e tem piedade de mim.

¹² My foote standeth in vprightnesse: I will praise thee, O Lord, in the Congregations.

¹² O meu pé está posto em caminho plano; nas congregações louvarei ao Senhor.
